Gennemført klassisk 5 stjernet hotel med service i top. Man bliver fulgt ind, taskerne båret op. Alt bliver beskrevet og vist selv værelsernes funktioner som er relativ hightech uden at det går ud over det klassiske look. Store værelser og en super seng. Alle hilser på dig, høj til lav. Super venligt - wellness afdelingen: Pool var ok stor og god at svømme baner i, der er sauna og dampbad. Derudover kan der tilkøbes diverse spa ting men det prøvede vi nu ikke. Fint lille motionsrum. Love everything about the hotel except the spa. Steam room was out of service. The spa is not that great as it looks in the pictures. They don't keep the floor dry at the spa. The spa area needs more attention in the cleaning and neatness department.

Great hotel in an excellent location. We chose it because of it's proximity to the shops and restaurants which where a few minutes walk away. Super easy parking in the underground carpark which was discontinued to €22 euros per day from the adverted €28 per day on checkout. Really enjoyed the pool and gym as well which where great additions. All the staff where amazing and wouldn't hesitate in staying again. The only downside for me was not having a kettle on the room to make tea and coffee

If you want a dog friendly hotel smack in the middle of town, with great beds, a pillow menu, wonderful staff, Nespresso machine and fluffy towels this is it. Can't beat the Royal. The only downside for us, the gym is very small. But they do have a swimming pool and sauna.

Hotel reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Hotel and room were exceptionally clean and modern. Lovely room size, not too small. Only thing was the shower was in a strange position, when we turned it to use it, it sprayed all out of the bath! It was positioned in the corner rather than directly above the bath taps. Plenty of towels, changed daily, toiletries in the bathroom. Be careful that the ‘extras’ in the room are chargeable! Great hotel though and would definitely go back.

Exceptional property. Very thoughtful attention in the rooms including chocolates on the night stand every night. the housekeeping was also exceptional. Bottles of water was replaced every night. Excellent location. The concierge was very helpful for securing a reservation. Only slight quibble is that they said they were unable to drop us to the airport on Sunday when we were leaving, but their website their was complimentary drop-off to the airport. Overall, this was truly an exceptional hotel where attention is given to guests needs from the staff members and management. It was a perfect hotel to end my trip in Europe and I would certainly rebook this hotel should I visit Luxembourg.

We loved this hotel! Our room was beautiful, quiet, clean and comfortable. All personnel was congenial, helpful and nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Loved the location and everything about our stay at Le Royal. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Le Royal for such a great three day visit!

Le Royal was fabulous. Check in was smooth and we were able to access our room on arrival despite it being before midday. The room was spotlessly clean and there was a nightly turndown service which was superb. The concierge was exceptional, giving lots of ideas of things to do and how to get there.The location was excellent, everything a short stroll from shopping to dining to transport. We were comparing staying at Hotel Cravat but are so glad we paid the extra money and stayed here, there's no comparison. We would absolutely recommend from the comfortable beds to the fabulous bar, and added bonus of the spa where we enjoyed an early evening swim most nights. Super service all round, thank-you!

Very nice hotel. The only thing I noticed was a sewage smell at times. It was raining for few days so it may have been related to this, but we were on the 4th floor and could smell the odor the last two nights and days we stayed there. Otherwise, the facility was nicely decorated, staff was very attentive, and food was good. The food was a little too expensive for the selection but otherwise nice. I would stay there again if I return to Luxembourg.

The hotel was nice and located just outside the old town. Rooms were nice and large, hotel was overall very nice. The one disappointment was the shower, where the water kept fluctuating between hot and cold no matter what you did. There is simply no way to get a consistent temperature. Too bad, because other than that the hotel was very nice.

I really tend to give a very honest reviews to help others make an informed decision, so If you’re expecting a 5* hotel/ services, then this is by no means the one. Probably it was on its heydays. It’s the equivalent of a very good 4* hotel. We have booked a double room /twin bed, & we made sure to write a request for the twin beds as I was travelling with my cousin, only to be told by a rude receptionist that she can’t do anything as they are fully booked. After speaking to the manager this issue was rectified. For us was the rude manners of the receptionist, rather than the lack of the twin beds “I forgot her name, but she was wearing glasses” Another very helpful and pleasant receptionist named Oksana from Ukraine was absolutely the 5 stars of the hotel. A person we were happy to remember their name! Another issue was that our booking comes with complimentary free shuttle to airport, when we asked for it, we were told that it’s not available. I would rather not make false promises to customers, regardless of the overall free transportation in the city. So this wasn’t a 5* hotel behaviour. The best part was the hotel location walking distance to all part of the city centre. Breakfast was also excellent. The duty manager of the hotel Elsie Danjou was very pleasant so as Oksana.

Great location, fantastic service, allowed us to borrow a wheelchair. 10’s across the board. 1 improvement would be door that is flush with sidewalk was card activated to open vs walking around to unlock. I’m sure there are reasons, just a minor tweak for a great hotel that spoiles you with luxury.

The staff here are amazing. I felt like I was staying at a 5 star hotel. They were able to coordinate receiving my lost suitcase and had it brought to my room while I was out for the day, provided turndown service, and on one occasion when I spent the day in my room called to check in and ask if I needed service. I loved the high-tech panel by the door which controls the do not disturb lights, and the towel warmer in the bathroom. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (8-10th of June 24) over the weekend - great location and amenities. We expected 5 star treatment from a 5 star hotel and given the price we paid. I am diabetic and sometimes eat my own food - first evening of the stay I asked for a fork for the room, which was provided. The next evening, also around 5-6 pm, extra charge was asked for a single fork and complimentary fork was refused. Normally, you would expect complimentary cutlery to be provided as a standard in a 5 star hotel, which was not the case, hence my ask. We don’t understand the inconsistency of the rules at the hotel (which vary depending who is working at the Concierage) and why at a 5 star hotel I am charged for a fork? Absolutely ridiculous- spoiled my whole view and experience of the stay at the hotel.

Le Royal was a great property. The service by everyone was amazing and extremely helpful. Rooms are lovely and the restaurant was excellent. The bar had some issues with being able to serve drinks efficiently, but when they did, it was great.
