There is no AC ..the fans did not help. Beds hard as a rock.. Staff very nice.

I stayed five nights and would book again. The location is very pleasant and safe, in a residential area. It is short (5-minute) enjoyable walk to the bus stop. Public transportation is excellent, so all of Mainz is easily accessible. Additionally it is only a 10-minute walk to the Gutenberg university. The hotel is rather short staffed, but they work very hard to ensure that you have what you need. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, a breakfast is provided every day (for additional cost), and they give contact information in case any problems arise when they are not on site in the evening (which didn't happen during my visit). I prearranged my arrival as instructed, so I knew what to expect and I had no trouble getting entry when I first arrived. Free parking is convenient and spots were always available.

The breakfast was good and the coffee machine was a nice addition. The refrigerator in the room was not functioning. Unfortunately patrons smoked just outside the entrance. Close to a bus stop making it comvenient.
