Kimberley Gardens is a lovely hidden gem. It's in the middle of surburbia, so good value with excellent amenities. My room was very comfortable and had a balcony which looked out on leafy trees. It has a lovely indoor pool and hot spa, and even a little gym. Unfortunately there is a large building site right out the front which somewhat detracts from the attractive entrance to the hotel. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

The 1 bedroom apartment is huge with high ceilings and 2 balconies. It is basically 2 full normal hotel rooms in size. The kitchen is basic, but has all you need. There is no washing machine & dryer in the apartment - which is surprising. Overall, the property is a little "tired" and in an older style. But, it is clean, safe, spacious & in a nice quiet area - with loads of free parking. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Excellent value. Spacious room, relatively quiet and very convenient for our purposes. Regarding room cleanliness, this could be improved. I felt that countertops, doors, door handles, light switches need to be thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant. As is often the case with hotels and serviced apartments, the level of attention to these areas can always be better. One garbage bin was total missed during the one cleaning service we had during our stay. (And it was full) Grateful for the swimming pool However, regarding hand-held shower device in women's restroom at the pool, it was loose and I was unable to fix it. I had to return to my room to shower after my swim. I would return to this property.

We were in a refurbished 1BR apartment. Even had a corner spa in the bathroom. It was very good. The only vague issue I found is the mattress was very firm (as hotels are wont to do), so a pillow-top mattress or adding a mattress topper would be the next step to improve guest comfort.

Location was good, on arrival nobody at reception had to call for service. Then opened room door and key wouldn't come out called for assistance had to use 2 hands to get key out, one on key the other to hold then key barrel so it wouldn't move. Not and ideal start.

I wS disappointed there was no dining in. Also, we were held up by being locked in Mallacoota because of the flooding and were unable to be there on the first day of our booking. I had phoned the reception and related our predicament and was told " seeing you have already paid a refund will be organized. It was not.
