I usually stay elsewhere but their price was 3 times as high for the period I needed so I decided to try something new. I was presently surprised. A beautifully appointed hotel, starting to age a little in places, but is well maintained and very clean. Staff were lovely and location is fantastic. I think I've found my new regular stay.

This five star hotel in Melbourne lives up to the Grand Hyatt name. Everything encountered was excellent through to checkin, restaurants, room quality etc. Excellent location in the Paris end of Collins Street of Melbourne. Will stay again in the future.

The most iconic Hotel in Melbourne in the 'Art Deco' style.. it is very sad though that the new owners from Singapore who are large retail investors, dont understand the significance of the hotels history or its presence in the future as they are undertaking Hume renovations that will removed the ground floor reception and bar/restaurant area and remove the lower foyer making way for increased retail space which in the location is all ready overserviced. Once the changes are made it will ruin the facade and tge vibe of this grand hotel.
