The only problem was major wifi glitch the week we were there. It was very intermittent but the staff were good with getting technicians in to sort. They are going to do a revamp of wifi. Great location and eateries nearby.

Room was great, spacious, good cooling and heating, pretty quiet given the location, other than a constant buzzing noise in the main bedroom. The carpark is extremely hard to get your car out into the alleyway even if a small car, but overall was great and will be back. Excellent location and hotel experience.

This is a decent place to stay. Our apt felt a little grotty, it was quite dark and the cleaning wasn't the best. But the worst thing was the noise from the street. The garbage trucks are out in full force from very early morning and so expect to be woken up and to stay awake from about 5am. On the upside, the location is incredible and so nice to be able to walk to Melbourne's laneways & shopping.

L’emplacement est le principal avantage de cet hôtel appartement. Il est situé sur flinders lane juste à côté de Fédération square et de la rivière Yarra. Tout est facilement accessible à pied. La chambre est spacieuse, le lit est confortable. La salle de bain et surtout la cabine de douche est un peu petite si vous êtes grand. Les équipements sont un peu vieux (tv, micro-ondes) et la propreté n’est vraiment pas au rendez-vous, c’était un peu sale. Le personnel est plutôt gentil et serviable. Dans l’ensemble j’ai passé un bon séjour d’une semaine, l’emplacement est vraiment clé pour profiter de la ville de Melbourne.

Punthill Flinders Lane is an amazing place to stay in Melb CBD, will certainly stay again. It’s so close to everything and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room layout was great, with three separate spaces, giving us our own space from each other. It had everything we needed for six days. My only comment would be that the shower is on the smaller side, tiny actually, but workable, it was ok and it was clean. I did see some reviews that it was noisy, but that wasn’t our experience at all. It was very quiet. It may have been the location of our room, but it was great. We were happy.

I stayed here in a one bedroom apartment for a week. It has an idea location within easy walking distance to shopping areas, historica arcades, Federation Square, the NGV Interntional and Southbank. My apartment was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equiped and included a Nespresso machine and dishwasher. A comfortable bed and useful ironing board and iron made sense for a longer stay. WiFi was good and also the heating/cooling. I would recommend a traveller brings easplugs in case there is noise from the lively street. This was mostly on the weekend and did not last too late.

The building is obviously an old property converted into a hotel. You can tell by the wooden floorboard marks in the carpet. The walls are thin as we could clearly hear our neighbours come home on Saturday night at 3.30am, to the point one of the girls said, "group hug." The pillows were dreadful - extremely flat. The bed was so soft you got completely lost in it. Beware of staying here if you don't like a little bit of street noise. On the Friday and Saturday nights we could hear the music and chat from the local club. It was convenient as it was a short walk to both a Coles and Woolies plus Liquorland. It is right on the Flinders Laneways cafes, but get in early for those as they sell out of popular menu items fast. It's a short walk to the tram stop and the train station is right around the corner. We had a late check in and they sent through clear instructions on how to access the hotel. They also don't service the rooms on weekends. We liked the fact we had both a lounge/kitchenette and bedroom, however the shower is a bit snug as it was a bath/shower combo. If you are a big person you will be bumping into walls. The hotel serviced our needs for our stay but we won't be back.

The lobby is a nice well renovated area. The rooms not so much, the price we paid was good for the family room but the beds were super old/uncomfortable and the floor was super creaky around the apartment. Overall it was convenient for the price.

The communication from the Punt Hill team was amazing, along with the friendly reception on site. We even received a free upgrade! The central location was perfect for an unplanned trip to the city, as we could sightsee and wander to our hearts content, with everything at our fingertips. We’ll be back!

Location is amazing to shops, cafes and restaurants and to Melbourne Park. Only one comment to make but was partially rectified by a nice cleaner. We were told that apartments are serviced Monday to Friday and despite having please service card on our door on Friday, this never happened. On Saturday I saw a cleaner on our floor and explained that our room was not serviced, and we had been out most of the day. He supplied us with fresh towels etc, changed rubbish bags, supplied teabags. so we were happy with this. Maybe the cleaners need to be more astute re cleaning.

This is the best little spot ever. It’s centrally located so you can honestly walk anywhere you need to go, take the tram or bus. We arrived about an hour before check-in but they checked us right into our room anyway. Service by the front desk was great. We were only here for 3 days so we did not have any sort of room service but if you’re short on anything they will provide it for you. The room was clean and tidy. I would definitely stay here again!

The location on flinders lane was excellent, near many ethnic restaurants and degraves st outdoor dining. Flinders train station is very close. The room needs a refresh but is fine. FYI the two bedroom has two beds open to the living space and 1.5 baths.
