Very helpful staff. Price was great too! No traffic noise. Room was ok and bed comfy enough. But I would have liked to have had a lock on the inside of my room - the guy in the room next door was able to open my room with his room card (by accident). Another note to fellow travellers - wasn’t a big issue for me as I was travelling light, but theres no lift to the second floor and car park is out the back.

The room was very very old and shower was not clean. Bed uncomfortable. For a community based hotel I would have liked to see more friendly staff and a lift to go to my room. Check-in and checkout was however good and the location was positive.

They kindly changed rooms from the first floor to ground level because of my wife’s bad hips, no lift. The room was tired, dusty and in need of a make over like they had the bathroom. The lock on the door wasn’t working, there was no lock on the window and the kitchen sink wouldn’t drain properly. When walking down the corridor to our room you could smell cigarette smoke while the staff would stand outside the reception door smoking as you walked past.

Right in the heart of Kew shopping district, close to Kew schools. Rooms were clean, secure and tidy. External needs maintenance and cleaning. Friendly reception and plenty of parking.

Aparthotel looks nothing like the pictures. It's more of a halfway house feel, not very pleasant. Room wasn't cleaned properly, with cobwebs everywhere and the smoke alarm was covered up. The only good thing about the stay was the location close to the high street and close to the tram stop.

It was so bad, the room had all different stains everywhere on carpet, a gross/odd smell that was in the room, disgusting blood stained mattress & there was food on the ceiling above kitchen not cleaned. I couldn't stay overnight I ended up leaving with no refund but honestly didn’t mind I had to just get out of there. I don't know if I was unlucky & there are better rooms but it was the most un hygeinic hotel I've ever been to. The only positive was free parking & the reception guy was great & funny guy.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was quite bad! The blanket was yellow and stains on the bed. The whole hotel had a rancid smell of cigarettes wafting through the hallways. The only good thing I could say about my stay is that the man who checked us in was absolutely lovely!

Rooms are very dirty and lots of blood stains in sheets and mattress. Carpets torn. Windows never cleaned. Not healthy to keep a toddler or baby or an adult. Good location but unclean hotel. Not just one room but all of it.

The room we were allocated had seen better days - there were cigarette burns in the dining chairs and burn marks on the carpet, there was mould in the window sills, a toilet roll holder that had lost its ability to hold onto the wall, a leaking shower stall - in need of a deep clean. The foyer reeked of cigarette smoke … and there was rubbish on the carpeted stairs in entry hall for the 3 days we were there. The actual room could have been lovely - spot is great, parking easy and plentiful, hosts were welcoming, view was pretty, with more attention to cleanliness, maintenance and some strategic updates it would be a really nice place to stay.

Stove didn’t work properly, no lift in building B where I was staying on the 2nd floor, bed was uncomfortable and the freezer in the mini fridge is near non existent. Communication was great until I went to return the keycards 15 minutes after reception ‘opened’ only to have no one show up. The staff seem friendly enough but I would not stay here again.

We were on the ground floor and the window lock in our room was broken. Had to use a piece of timber we found on the floor at the window to place in the sliding window track to ensure no one could break in. However the property was conveniently located for us.

The property did not look like the photographs. Also, the check in times listed when I booked did not match the actual times. When I booked the property on the app, it said I would have until 7pm to check in, but at 4pm on the day I received a message that said 6pm - because I had planned to arrive at 6:30 and was travelling a long distance, this was stressful as I had to try to organise late check-in at the last minute. I tried calling several times and no one answered. Eventually, someone got back to me via a message. I was also not provided with check out instructions or the WiFi password. I would not stay at the property again.

I wish to make a formal complaint with regard to the Beaumont Hotel, Studley Park Road Kew Victoria. 1. On a five night stay the room was never cleaned—not once. 2. The service desk door contained a permanent sign stating “back in 5 minutes” with a mobile phone number. The desk was rarely, if ever, manned during the day. 3. The reservation scheduled cost was 4. An additional security fee of $50 was charged at check-in, that has not been refunded.

I made a booking and arrived shortly after midnight to check in after i was attending a concert. The building was locked, nobody was in the reception building, and i called every after-hours number displayed on the entrance but nobody responded. We had to drive to a mate's house to stay for the night, and I'm trying to get a refund for the booking since we never actually got to stay at the motel

Went to check in and they couldn’t find our booking, waited 30mins for the lovely front desk person to organise and give us a room, gave us a upgrade but sadly with the hotel being so outdated it wasn’t much of an upgrade. The room was dirty and the shower flooded sending water into the living area. Someone got robbed overnight and people were very loud and wasn’t a very nice stay. But the front desk person made the stay a little more welcoming so thank you to him!

The person when we checked in was pleasant and polite. The property is nice considering that it is an old building. It is comfortable and located close to several dining options. The only issue is the electronic locks for the rooms. Experienced issue with both the card and entering the pin to access room. Was not the only person that experienced this issue, others booking in reported the same problem with accessing their room. May need to go back to a lock and key.

I arrived at this property out of hours (8pm). Rang the three different out of hours numbers provided on the apartment block for out of hours access. Left several messages, but had no reply so could not gain access to the property. After an hour I gave up and called a nearby hotel so I had somewhere to stay. I rang Beaumont Kew to complain and their staff denied I had contacted them (I have the record of my phone calls to the three out of hours numbers recorded, so I can prove I called them a total of eight times). I am still trying to get my money refunded! I would not recommend Beaumont Kew as a place to stay for anyone. Their service is dreadful and their staff lie.

In all honesty this is not a 4 star place to stay and the photos are of somewhere that is not the Beaumont. Don't pay this amount and expect to stay somewhere that looks like this. It's just not going to happen. The suburb of Kew is a nice place to stay, lots of places nearby to eat out. Public transport is readily available and the CBD is about 30 minutes away by bus or tram. The room really doesn't meet expectations after booking based on the photos. Definitely not 4 star
