A great stay in a quiet room with comfortable beds and lots of space. Excellent kitchen and excellent customer service. Spa doesn't have an on switch so really is just a bath - our friends in other room couldn't find an on switch either.

Lift broken for the entirety of the stay. Not really acceptable to ask people to climb 6 flights of stairs in the middle of December. Detected no urgency about fixing it. Otherwise a good central spot good price for what you get.

We got upgraded to an Executive Apartment, which made us wonder, what the Classic Apartment would have looked like .Needs TLC and a good clean. Wifi was not working well. They advertised for parking, but when we tried to book our car in, we were told that there is no parking.

I was looking for somewhere to stay near Melb cbd that had parking. The ad for the accommodation said that parking was available. When I got there I was told that not only do they not have any parking available, they have never had any in the first place. FALSE ADVERTISING DON’T SUPPORT BUSINESSES THAT LIE.

Disappointing that you get there after work and then your told the lift isn't working and you need to walk five floors and wont be fixed till the next day. To make matters worse i was going to a knee surgeon the next day. There was no discussion asking if that was OK theres your key enjoy.

Pros: Large apartment, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Perfectly clean. Large spa bath. Located right next to Bourke St Mall, trams at doorstep. Cons: Free wifi dropped out frequently. Reception only open until 1pm on Sundays.

I arrived to my room with a frozen over freezer which took 2 hours for me to defrost so i could use it for the week the room was run down the bathroom was old spa bath not operational the rooms not noise insulate as i heard everything from the apartment above me from high heels on the wooden floor all night to their bedroom activities front desk wasnt 24 hours so i had to help people who did speak English well with room problems or contacting help what i saw advertised in the picture of the room didnt even come close to the pictures .i had a very temperamental microwave and washing machine

Tim on reception was fantastic. As we entered our 2 bedroom apartment we found that not much cleaning had been done except the beds were clean and redone. Kitchen floor was dirty and food particles still on the floor. The floor had not been mopped. No one had vacumed either as there were pieces of food on floor and even a dead beetle in one bedroom. Showers weren't clean and there was so much dust. Tim came to our rescue. We left so he could do what the cleaners should have done. Thank you Tim.. The cleaners need a good talking to.

Great location with easy walking to shopping, food & entertainment. Apartment great layout. Only saw someone at reception once. Apartment could have been cleaned a lot better, rubbish in between couch cushions. TV could do with an upgrade. Bathroom needing an upgrade with toilet constantly running, leaking around shower head, ?soap holder knocked off wall so there was a hole. Could do with a repaint to freshen up. Overall with a bit of TLC would stay again.

This is an email I sent the property - My friends and I stayed in room 203 Wednesday and Thursday evening. We paid $449 for two nights. The state of the rooms was atrocious. I can understand run down rooms but I do expect a clean room. This room was revolting. It smelt and had small flies in it. The dishwasher stank and was revolting and there were marks all down the fridge that were clearly food stains. The floors and couch were covered in stains. The mirrors we're dirty and unclean. The skirting boards were almost black in places. The bathroom (toilet and shower) were dirty. We had to wash cutlery and glassware as they were sticky and cloudy. We called around other places to see if we could move as we felt dirty just being in the room however due to a concert everywhere was booked. These rooms are not worth the money you charge. This is more like a backpackers accommodation.

Overall the place was low standard it wasn’t very clean the couch was filthy the bath was dirty as well including the toilet. Location was good tho close to everything, maintenance of the property was very poor its very diy or cheap fixes have been done to maintain the property.

There was vomit in the elevator. So gad to use stairs to the 4th floor a couple of times. Eventually a resident came and cleaned it since no staff to clean it up. Rooms were not cleaned. Dust everywhere. Bed was comfy and location was excellent. But the cleanliness was its downfall. Never again!

Bedroom had no windows, and no aircon, was hot. The room was very dusty and overall unclean. Bedsheets were flat sheets wrapped around a blanket, which had god knows what stains on it... the sheets would move over night and your faced with this filth in morning. We ended up only using the hotel as a bag drop and hit up the great ocean road. Will not stay there again. -- Would have taken it up with front desk but they were literally never there.

bedside lamp cord didn't reach the plug on the other side of the king bed and instead of connecting an extension cord, left if unplugged behind the bed. When raised with reception they seemed surprised but provided an extension cord. King bed made up of two singles and were not physically connected - just made up with a flat sheet and tucked in. The two beds separated with just one person sleeping in it. Not a comfortable/professional solution.

Il n'y avait qu'une fenêtre mal placé (dans un coin du salon) qui n'apportait aucune lumière. Lovely two bedroom apartment, very clean and spacious. Central to everything in the city with a tram stop right outside. The only fault? Not sure why an apartment, with sleeping for four adults, would only have one small 2 seater couch, perhaps the other one was being replaced? There was certainly room for another.

Our room was extremely spacious for the 6 of us. It was very clean and had a fabulous view of the city. It was close to everything that we needed and the trams were right out front. It was a little odd walking across the road and entering our room through a shopping centre and using a couple of lifts but the room was worth it. The only thing that we had an issue with was that the heating was only blowing out cold air. After ringing the man on the front desk (who was great), he confirmed that it was not working properly so he then gave us extra heaters and extra blankets which we used for the 2 nights we stayed.
Our room was extremely spacious for the 6 of us. It was very clean and had a fabulous view of the city. It was close to everything that we needed and the trams were right out front. It was a little odd walking across the road and entering our room through a shopping centre and using a couple of lifts but the room was worth it. It served its purpose as a quick over night stay but I wouldn’t be rushing back. The front desk closed at 1pm even though when I booked it said different. Didn’t have storage room for our luggage once we checked out which made difficult. For the rest of our day as our flight wasn’t until 5pm. The gentlemen on the front desk was fanatic, helping us out where to find storage lockers at southerner cross station.

1. Terrible check in experience, travelling from NZ we were checking in after hours. I tried calling multiple times to ask the process for late night checkin as there was a lock box. The contact number did not work from NZ. Ended up calling Expedia to help again multiple times, they reassured me we would receive a SMS with details. On-site Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. 4. Location was good, trams right outside. Walking distance to lots of places to shop and eat.

Paid for a 2 bedroom apartment with king and queen size beds. There was no king bed and I was informed that was due to the advertising on the booking website. I initially needed both beds but one of my companions did not accompany us so it was just myself and my partner (no cancellation available). I was offered a one bedroom with a king, but my partner had already laid out preparations for the evening so it was declined. I didn’t have my measuring tape but beds felt like doubles only. This resulted in my partner and I sleeping in separate beds as I’m 6ft 3 and need a bigger bed. Staff are entitled to breaks, but having reception on a meal break at 2pm (check in time) seems a little wrong. And in the morning, there were at least 6 people wanting to enter the building with reception not staffed and the door locked. All in all, decent space but will look elsewhere.

Great location. Some of the rooms are well-worn but they are clean, quiet and in a great location. Tram stop is straight out the front and it is easy to go to/from the airport via Skybus and tram straight to the door. The staff were all super friendly and helpful

Great location and large apartment. The place is looking worn and old and amenities broken such as the spa bath that you could have a shower in but couldn't use the bath as the notice posted in the bathroom said it would flood the adjacent bathroom. Blinds broken and some missing, old used soap bar left in bath. Could do with a thorough clean and fix. But reasonable price for what you get.

The room was filthy. Smelled musty and mildewy, grubby walls, bathtub and shower filled with gunk which dripped down the walls when turning the water on. Quilt was uncovered and had blood and urine stains. Couldn’t complain to staff because staffed hours are only 9-4 although when I went during those hours no one was available. There’s a reason this place is so cheap despite the good location.
