Fabulous location, in the heart of CBD. The staff are very considerate and helpful. We arrived early but they made it possible for us to enter our room. We enjoyeda swim and a sauna, i would reccommend including the breakfast, very good. I will definitely stay here again.

Very convenient location, close to trams, taxis available outside. Close to Bourke Street Mall. Indoor pool and Gym. Some rooms are quite small. Nice to have staff to check you in and out if you’re a senior! Not sure about the self service check in and check out . Nicer to have staff welcoming you.

All amenities look an feel clean. At level 6 the exercise room is good, Sauna and Pool nice under cover. In the shopping precint. New 2025 MECCA beuty shop only 700 metres walk.. Nice

Well located in Melbourne CBD so within 10 mins walk, plenty of places to eat and drink. Also within free tram zone and short distance to train stations. Friendly staff. Clean but basic room. Gym and pool very small and not really usable.

The room felt like it needed a deep clean. The bed and linen were clean and that was it. Splashes on walls, food or coffee, toothpaste on door handle , stains and dust on carpets . One staff member was very kind thank you

My 3rd stay here. It’s great value and convenient to all the Melbourne attractions. However my room was only cleaned once in 10 days and that was day 5 only because I rang reception as my bins were overflowing! The toilet had mould in it by Day 6, there were a pile of towels and once again the bins were overflowing. Not very appealing or hygienic. Will definitely rethink staying here next time in Melbourne. The first night I had a room facing Lt Collins St and the street noise was ridiculous until 4am but the hotel did accomodate a room change.

This is our go to hotel when staying in Melbourne city; it has the most amazing location!! It’s so clean, there a fantastic restaurant/bar on site (great nightly specials/happy hour) and it’s reasonably priced. We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve stayed, highly recommend.

The room was tiny with two single beds with a view of an inner roof courtyard. Fine for one night at the theater which was just around the corner. Great location. But the smell in the bathroom was atrocious. It smelt like sewer and bleach. I opened the window and ran the water for a bit and it went away but it wasn't nice to walk into. We wore crocs in the shower just in case. You really can't beat the location though and I would stay again, just don't expect anything luxurious or modern.

Our room block out curtain didn't work, luckly we could put a pillow on the window to block out most sun. The air conditioner was loud and didn't control the temperature very well, had to turn if off in the end.

Large room, very spacious. Clean. Great location, central to everything. Only real complaint is the noise. Walls seem very thin, and I could hear any activity outside my door like it was in the room with me. My room's window opened to a courtyard where some pigeons were nesting. All cute until I got woken up at 4am by constant loud cooing. Orher than that, fantasyic hotel. Highly recommended.

The Victoria Hotel is very well placed to explore the City, our only slight issue was the original room was right at the front of the building that's on a noisy road at night, however, we requested a room move and that was facilitated without fuss and very quickly to a much quieter room for the remainder of our stay, great customer service! 👍

The hotel itself and the rooms were fine, but awful parking facilities. Front desk seemed understaffed most of the time. Would not stay there with a car again, might consider it without a car to park. There are only a few parking spots available at the hotel and if they are full you are sent to a car park a couple blocks away.

Avoid at all costs. I couldn’t even check in as they had lost my booking. Luckily hotels.com were able to have me moved to a much better hotel. Avoid this hotel. The reception staff had no cares to give. Very poor customer service when the room had been booked and pre paid. They need to have a good look at their staff and make some changes at the front of house.

Have stayed here many times over the years and is one of my most favourites. If you want modern and flash then this is not the place for you. If you want classic, clean great location and staff, and a really great price then this IS the hotel for you. This building is over 100 years old and was a hospital when first built. It's a great vibe and best location to get to main parts of Melbourne City and anywhere outside as close to Flinders station and the new stations that open end of 2025. Tram at end of street and also down lane way inf don't of hotel. Vic's bar is cosy and ypu can also sit and drink out on the mezzanine level as well. As it's an older building, the hallways and getting to your oom can be a bit of an adventure as each level has slightly different levels on each floor. But that's what makes this place so cool to stay it. Give it a go and anything you need, just ask Melanie and the rest of the staff there who always want to help you enjoy your stay. J! 🙏👍😁

Victoria Hotel Melbourne is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with everything you could want or need right on their doorstep! The staff are friendly. We a had a nice steak dinner in their restaurant, Mr Munro - great that they have specials as well as happy hour for hotel guests The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bedlinen was lovely too.

Travelled on business and was quite disappointed in this Hotel. Having tried a few options in this part of Melb CBD this one didn't stack up. Hotel itself is quite old and in need of some significant maintenance, no room service (or even anywhere to get breakfast in the Hotel itself) and housekeeping was not up to scratch. Not a Hotel I would recommend if you plan on spending time in your room given their minimalist/bare essentials.

The only issue was the ducted air conditioner was noise on low. We turned it off and the room was fine. The room was okay, a bit small but for one night it was fine, Great happy hour , food and coffee in the morning was excellent. Would recommend and stay again.
