Was quiet and clean and close to shops and transport. Did not have lifts so you had to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs and requested late check out which was not noted and was getting calls from reception before approved checkout time which was annoying

Didnt like the fact that onsite parking was limited. And the walk in shower was small. During our stay there were cool nights but there were no spare blankets or pillows in the room. But Im sure Reception would have provided such on request.

The property was great but when we arrived back to the property later that night every car park was full and we ended up parking on the street. While this was ok I would have thought there was sufficient parking for all rooms.

Very helpful at reception, Easy checking , good parking . Close to tram into City and good restaurants nearby . If you can’t manage stairs , let reception know as we had two flights and no lift

Nice property but should have lifts being 3 storeys. Very hard for elderly people or those with health issues. Quite dangerous trying to carry luggage up and down stairs. Room was lovely but only 4 tiny milks pods to last 2 adults for 2 nights was disappointing. A normal cup of coffee required 4 as they are small. Then they weren’t replaced for the second night which I hadn’t noticed, meaning I couldn’t make husband a coffee when we woke up. Still would stay again but would take our own milk.

The Studio Apartment was spotless and very comfortable bedding.Great they had Foxtel and enjoyed having morning coffee on the balcony.Great lighting in the bathroom and would recommend.

Needed somewhere to stay a night while repairs were completed at home. Arrived late and tired. The main bathroom stank of sewage and there was the same smell from the kitchen sink. Paid a premium rate for 1 night to feel like I slept in a sewer.

Stayed in a studio apartment. Brilliant location as I was attending a conference at Moonee Valley Racecourse which was literally on the other side of the road. The room had all needed amenities and was well stocked for 2. The kitchenette had a microwave, kettle, stove top and fridge. The room had a reasonable size TV and basic toiletries. The only problem with the Quest is the lack of sound proofing. I barely slept due to hearing surrounding neighbours walking above on the floors above, putting on their bathroom light (thus setting off the exhaust fan), slamming doors. This did not make for a restful experience- esp once the workmen joined in with making noise from 6:30am. I have stayed at another Quest before in a noisy location and never heard a peep. This Quest really needs to invest in sound proofing all of their rooms.

Three main problems 1) There was minimal noise proofing of the apartment. Even though we weren’t on a main road we heard every car, truck and aeroplane that went past. 2) Repeated problems with the air conditioning requiring us to get the staff to come into the rooms to resolve. 3) No servicing of the rooms.

Nice quiet place, close to everything. Shower was hard to use, nowhere to put the soap or shampoo, only on the floor. But we would recommend it and go there again

The hotel location, the hotel and its facilities and staff were all ok. However after a long cold windy Melbourne day, I was really looking forward to a hot shower and to hand no hot water at all was pretty uncomfortable. It was late and there was no one on reception to help.

Location close to Moonee Valley racecourse. Close proximity to tram & coffe shops. Large windows, bright & light rooms. Found the shower recess too narrow. Reception staff were excellent to deal with & communicated well. Pleasant.
