Staff were extremely kind and let us check in early. One elevator was down which led to taking the stairs. Property was clean.

The hotel was adequate. It is old and tired, but as clean as an old tired hotel can be. The staff were pleasant but not going out of their way to be helpful. The elevator is a nightmare. There is only one functioning elevator. It is slower than any elevator in existence. When called, it seems to need to go all the way to the top floor before going to the floor you have called it to. When on the elevator, sometimes it opens and let's you off at your chosen floor, sometimes it skips that and takes you to the top. You have to repress your floor to hopefully be let out on the way down. The street is a big party street and windows and doors do not stop any noise at all from the outside. This hotel was over priced even at the relatively low price I paid.

The location of this hotel is top tier for access to Montreal either walking or via transit. The staff were welcoming and great throughout the entire stay. The room was lovely, and a beautiful balcony to view the downtown scene. The elevator was very slow and it seems as if the other one was out of service. I, and many others took the stairs whenever we could/can to help the speed of across the residences.

Stayed here severe times over the years. Service is always great. But oh this was then worst room I’ve ever had. Dirty carpet dirty chairs. Paint and wallpaper peeling. Only One elevator working. Floor 10 hallway dirty. Not sure if I’ll return.
