AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

Cocoon Stachus is close to Munich’s Hauptbahnhof and the old town, with clean, modern rooms and generally friendly staff, but many guests highlight very small, quirky layouts and a gritty, sometimes noisy surrounding area with construction and late-night disturbances.

Stayed 3 nights

I was first taken aback by the glass bathroom walls that left me exposed through the wall to wall window. I unfortunately had to keep the curtains closed the entire time so the people in the building across the way wouldn’t be able to watch me use the bathroom. It was extremely noisy until all hours of the night and there was no sound buffering. Each of the three nights I stayed here there were groups of people outside talking very loud,.and it was if There was also no plug next to the bed which was inconvenient. Staff was only at the front desk half the time I was there.

Stayed 5 nights

Room was very small and run-down, no room cleaning service unless you request. Very noisy neighborhood and room poorly insulated. AC not functioning. Staff not fluent in English and rude.

Stayed 1 night

Everything was great, food for breakfast was worth the 20 euros!!!! Oh man so good. My only complaint, and it is of no fault of the establishment but navigsting a full bag and a ski bag ( dakine fall line, fully.loaded) was very, tough. Doable and made for some interesting turns but it was definitely different than expected. Room.was great, wster was piping hot, clean, tucked away but very close to the train station. Staff was friendly, even putting up with my horrible attempts at German. Would stay again, maybe requesting a bigger roo if i came with skis, but this room was perfect if it was just me and a bag.
