Hotel Wetterstein

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and highly recommend it! The location is perfect, as it's very close to the metro station, making transportation incredibly easy. The room was spotless—the carpets were very clean, which I really appreciated. It’s a quiet and peaceful place, ideal for a good night’s rest. Even though I didn’t try the food, the overall quality of the accommodation and the friendly, smiling staff made my experience wonderful. In terms of value for money, it is truly a top-notch place. Definitely recommended!

First good things: the staff at the reception was very friendly, breakfast was good and room was clean. Now what we did not like: the room was extremely small. It would be still ok, but we were on 3rd floor which is under the roof, and outer wall is angled, so every time you approach the head is f the bed you can bump your head with ceiling. Also when getting out of the bed you have to be careful not to bump your head. The coat hooks located in the place where if you hang two coats they block the way to the bed. There were only 3 hangers for two people in wardrobe. No complimentary bottled water in the room ( we stayed in many hotels in Germany and they provided water). Bathroom is tiny, with no space to put toiletries near the sink. The towel hook is not actually the hook: it is a rod about 5 cm long (or short?), so the towel keeps falling on the floor all the time. There was no hand lotion or shower cap. While I understand that they can’t make the bathroom bigger, it is still possible to mount a wall shelf for toiletries, mount real hook for towels and provide a water for €100+ a night room.

Safe comfortable good-value hotel 4 subway stops from the city center. Good substantial breakfast menu and very helpful and friendly staff. I stay here every October for a conference because it’s close to the conference venue and find it very comfortable and convenient.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. But the room was below average. Very small, little counter space in the bathroom, and the open-ended design of the shower produces a lot of water on the floor.

Very clean and close to all the activities.
