Only thing is working for their place is location. Rest everything is wrong. 1) can’t find with google map. 2) No parking 3) internet is not secure 4) no elevator so get ready to drag your suitcase. 5) everything is old nothing is up to date. 6) receptionist doesn’t speak English and not helpful at all.

Decisamente negativa la mia esperienza personale alla luce della pulizia effettuata lasciando tutto il materiale a terra in mezzo al corridoio vicino la cucina, dotazione della Camera consistente in lenzuola vecchie e ingiallite bagno vecchio e malmesso e accesso alla struttura con scale rotte . Inoltre il personale di reception che credo sia a conduzione familiare decisamente sgarbato, non dà segno di parlare inglese e in generale è privo di qualsiasi accenno di cortesia. Rapporto qualità bassa prezzo piuttosto alto. Cosa potrei aggiungere?

Nice place. As my husband put it 'shabby/chic'. No street parking, so you have to use a garage about an 8 minute walk away. Breakfast was quite good. The only real issue I had was that I booked a double bed and we got 2 singles with a room so tiny, we couldn't move them together. Also, this place is really tough to find!! It is right next to the Birkenstock store, which is a much better landmark to look for.

Practical location next to the Old town , a couple of minutes from Marienplatz and walking distance (20 -25 min) Theresienwiesen where the Oktoberfest is organized. The location is not a hotel, but as the name says a Pension/Lodge or motel style rather. But it is perfect for a weekend or more if you do need fancy rooms. I had a single room with a comfortable bed and quiet. The breakfast is good in a very cozy space. I would come back. But an important suggestion to the owner is to send the codes for the keys by email, not on a paper in an envelope on the front door in case you come late.

Queríamos ir al museo BMW y la Hofbräuhaus por lo tanto este alojamiento cumplió por última hora. El edificio algo viejo, pero limpio y las habitaciones regular, aunque las camas ok para dormir. La muchacha de recepción toda servicial y muy atenta a nuestras necesidades. El desayuno bueno y consistente. Para solo descansar una noche valió la pena. Si vienes con carro, hay que ver con suerte si consigues puesto en la calle en el frente del edificio y es de pago, 2 € por hora hasta las 11pm.

One night stay during Oktoberfest. Decent location close to the old town. Reception is upstairs and in the kitchen. No obvious way to get inside building as front door is locked. Rooms very old and dated. Everything uncomfortable. No bedside lamps or coffee making facilities. Unbelievable that they charge sky high prices for this place. Reception not open at 7pm when we left. Also bizarre that this place has a somewhat decent rating?? Grim property and wouldn’t recommend. We couldn’t wait to leave!!

This is an older property and while acceptable, certainly not new. The staff was excellent and the room was clean. The bathroom was workable but in need of a renovation. Like many room in Europe, there is no A/C. This would be easier to accept if they would simply provide a fan. The windows did open but overlooked an alley and provided little ventilation. The curtains were NOT adequate to cover all the windows and appeared to be missing a section of curtain. No coffee in the room but available in the reception area.. Overall, a good deal for the money and a clean, safe room.

Mögel på större delen av badrumstaket, rummet var råkallt och smutsigt. Minst sagt försummat underhåll både i rummet, men även i hela huset som helhet. Personalen var inte kund-/serviceinriktade alls, de satt mest instängda på sitt kontor och bevärdigade sig inte med att hälsa om de gick förbi. Knappt att de dukade undan efter färdiga frukostgäster.

Room was clean. Nice breakfast. You get what you paid for. Location was great. We arrived around 7pm, the key was left for us taped to the outside door of the building. Would stay again, except for the fact if the same and only key opens the building door for everyone and your room, so it can open any other room. I wouldn't feel safe, if someone stumbles in your room after trip to Hofbräuhaus (only 6 min. walk). Would also recommend adding another set of firm pillows. Thank you!

We paid for a double room with “one queen bed” but received a room with two separated twin beds. There was mold in the shower, roach traps throughout, and it felt dirty. The breakfast was nice though and the staff were friendly. The location was good.

Es war alles in Ordnung. Sauberkeit und ansprechend eingrichtet. Da sieht man dan über das verwohnte Treppenhaus und die angefranste Badezimmertür hinweg. Frühstück war ebenfalls ok. Bei dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis besteht kein Grund zum Meckern.

Die ganze Pension stinkt nach Rauch bzw kalten Rauch. Die Übernachtung war nur mit geöffnetem Fenster möglich. Und das im November. Das Bad richt nach Bad, das WC nach WC. Der Fernseher war ohne Empfang. Eine Steckdose lag abgerissen im Raum. Das Frühstück war ok. Das Personal wirkte desinterssiert. Abends war wohl ein Kiffertreff in der oberen Etage.

Zentrale Lage. Frühstück ausreichend aber nicht üppig. Betten und Bad sauber. Alles in allem aber sehr hellhörig keine Verdunklungsvorhänge oder Rollläden. Insgesamt recht schäbig und abgewohnt.

The two single beds would be great if I wasn’t there with my wife. breakfast was good and excellent location. The shower wall mount was broken so had to hold wand.

The room was small but adequate. There was no A/C so the window was open. The street stayed pretty noisy most of the night. The breakfast was not elaborate but it was nice. The location was great. Just take the train 2 stops from the Hauptbahnhof to Marienplatz and then its a couple of minutes walk to the hotel.

Location was superb. Couldn’t beat it. Hotel/rooms were very basic and very tired. Well past their prime. We were told we could pay cash at hotel (our Expedia receipt says so) but our card was charged upon arrival. Also charged $20 more then quoted plus a $12 “assessment” fee.

Ich musste einen verabredeten Termin absagen, da ich nicht ins Zimmer kam. Check-In war für 15 Uhr zugesagt, ich konnte um 19 Uhr ins Zimmer. The room was small but adequate. There was no A/C so the window was open. The street stayed pretty noisy most of the night. The breakfast was not elaborate but it was nice. The location was great. Just take the train 2 stops from the Hauptbahnhof to Marienplatz and then its a couple of minutes walk to the hotel.

Room was clean. Nice breakfast. You get what you paid for. Location was great. We arrived around 7pm, the key was left for us taped to the outside door of the building. Would stay again, except for the fact if the same and only key opens the building door for everyone and your room, so it can open any other room. I wouldn't feel safe, if someone stumbles in your room after trip to Hofbräuhaus (only 6 min. walk). Would also recommend adding another set of firm pillows. Thank you!

Location was superb. Couldn’t beat it. Hotel/rooms were very basic and very tired. Well past their prime. We were told we could pay cash at hotel (our Expedia receipt says so) but our card was charged upon arrival. Also charged $20 more then quoted plus a $12 “assessment” fee.

I think some of the other reviews are over exaggerating, the hotel is a little tired however it’s a perfectly good hotel. We had a slight problem with noise from the street due to the heat but apart from that it was a perfectly good hotel. The included breakfast was really good and a nice way to start the day!

it was okay for a place to stay for a night but there were a few concerns. the building was run down and not very updated on the inside. the shower head was just hanging and did not have a place to secure to the wall so while showering, you have to hold it yourself. it is also quite noisy at night with the traffice and people walking by the hotel. the check in was confusing and there was no direction where to go. we managed for a night but if you're looking for a comfortable stay I would reconsider.

The curtains were thin and an opaque white which I'm sure someone at night could see our shadows looking in if we had that light on. That's not the main problem.
