The service was great. The food is excellent, too. The room and bathroom were comfortable. The swimming pool is small and the water chilly. Good massage. The karaoke bar can get loud late at night. In the end was a little pricey.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The grounds are very lovely with beautiful plants, and at the time we visited decorated for the holiday including an extensive art exhibit of which we purchased two pieces. The building is a beautiful mansion in good condition. The pool is on a smaller side but lovely. We took spa treatments every morning, and these were excellent. Other than a small and beautiful sauna, there are no other spa elements such as pools or hamams. The dining anreas are lovely but we only had breakfasts, no dinners. Unfortunately we had no chance to visit their underground bar that also hosts karaoke. Our suite was lovely and comfortable. We intend to visit again.

Pros. El inmueble es una casa adaptada como hotel boutique a unos 10 minutos del centro de Oaxaca con muy buen gusto e instalaciones de primer nivel, buena comida y bebida, volvería a hospedarme por la tranquilidad y la calidad del lugar. Cons. Durante nuestra estancia aunque ofrecieron estacionamiento no se pudo utilizar porque personas externas bloquean los accesos y hubo que dejar el auto en la calle. El personal de restaurante y meseros requieren capacitación ya que emiten opiniones personales sobre huéspedes y staff a través del sistema de radio. El personal de recepción excelente en todo momento, servicial y apoyador a las necesidades. Conclusión. Sugiero mejorar la capacitación, y optimizar el uso del estacionamiento o si esto no es posible de plano no ofrecerlo como parte de los servicios

El hotel es bonito, limpio. El desayuno esta incluido pero solo consta de dos huevos , cafe y te solamente. el pan hay que pagarlo aparte. Esta a 16 minutos del centro , 41 del aeropuerto. Tienen servicio de transporte pero para el aeropuerto hay que pagarlo aparte, y para ir al centro hay que hacer turnos y puede que aveces si te llevén y muchas otras NO. En cuanto al servicio al cliente en el front desk puedo resaltar a Eduardo y el desayuno a Nicolas y Carmen , el resto necesita un entrenamiento para tratar un poco mas amable a los huéspedes ...... La piscina necesita mantenimiento , el agua se ve un poco turbia y exageradamente fría.

Property is ok. Food is very good and at fair prices. Most of the satff is friendly, but there is always this one person that nows NOTHING about the hospitality philosophy and makes your stay a bit harsh ... You are about a 15 min drive away from downtown. Hotel assures and advertises a parking lot, which they do not have. This was issue for us and made our stay have a dark rice. There is no elevator, Rooms are not so big nor spacy. This makes them sort of small and with limited storaging space. Rooms have all interior view; this makes them a bit noisy and with cero outside view. Their internet connection is very, very unstable and unreliable, something that today becomes a terrible deal for all of us as guests. I offered to pay with AMEX, and they requested another card/FORM OF PAYMENT ( Visa / MC ) since they did not like guests paying with AMEX ... OVERRALL RESUME: Give it a try and decide for yourself what you think about this hotel. In my case, next time I am in OAXACA, I will try some other options ...

Nice property, however far away fro Everything. Advertised spa, but was when tried to book they could not find anyone for a facial, message, steam room was broken. Pool was ice cold. In the evening they had fire Pits and heaters, but this only used them For events. Rooms by far are standard rooms not luxury.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that they could do everything to make our stay pleasant Property itself needs updates. Soiled stained sheets should he discarded and replaced. Broken tiles and build up around the pool should be maintained. Provide updates and keep visitors informed about numbers to dial for services Do not advertise spa services if most of the time there is no one there.

El hotel está muy lindo!! La atención del personal es súper atentos y amables!! La limpieza y cuidado de las instalaciones está excelente!! Todo muy bien cuidado. Lo que sí es q en la habitación que me toco la numero 10 se escucha un ruido como que prenden una bomba no se lo escuché varias veces en la madrugada y eso no me dejaba dormir 🙃. De ahí en fuera todo está perfecto!! Muy bonitas instalaciones felicidades al personal, muy segura y cómoda la zona!! Gracias!

The Hotel is avg at best. I attempted to book a massage apparently one time slot of availability. If a peacefull night sleep is important to you, do not stay on the exterior first floor as you can hear everything from the patio bar not to mention exterior lighting stays on until midnight (no black out curtains) As the hotel sits it's not worth $200 plus a night. The beds are old shower had sitting water yada yada. The property has some character but no views no energy. The manager avoided any interaction with us the entire time. At min a greeting would be nice after all you are in the people business lol This property lacks in most all other areas. Service was what it should be. Until next time Oaxaca. At $100 a night I might be able to recommend this hotel but @$200 plus it's a hard no for us.

El hotel está bonito, muy limpio y relativamente cerca del centro pero la habitación que nos asignaron (15) está pegada al restaurante y el ruido fue muy molesto. Comienzan a mover sillas, mesas, platos, ruido de cocina etc desde las 5:30am y en la noche igual se escucha el movimiento del restaurante aproximadamente hasta las 11:30-12. Tienen alberca pero no la tienen con calefacción todo el tiempo por lo que si quieres usarla deberás avisar unas 3-4 horas antes para que esté a una temperatura aceptable (en época de frío es imposible meterse si está fría). Desconozco si en las otras habitaciones se escucha ruido todo el tiempo pero para nosotros si fue un desacierto pues no logramos descansar.

El hotel está muy lindo!! La atención del personal es súper atentos y amables!! La limpieza y cuidado de las instalaciones está excelente!! Todo muy bien cuidado. Lo que sí es q en la habitación que me toco la numero 10 se escucha un ruido como que prenden una bomba no se lo escuché varias veces en la madrugada y eso no me dejaba dormir 🙃. De ahí en fuera todo está perfecto!! Muy bonitas instalaciones felicidades al personal, muy segura y cómoda la zona!! Gracias!

The Hotel is avg at best. I attempted to book a massage apparently one time slot of availability. If a peacefull night sleep is important to you, do not stay on the exterior first floor as you can hear everything from the patio bar not to mention exterior lighting stays on until midnight (no black out curtains) As the hotel sits it's not worth $200 plus a night. The beds are old shower had sitting water yada yada. The property has some character but no views no energy. The manager avoided any interaction with us the entire time. At min a greeting would be nice after all you are in the people business lol This property lacks in most all other areas. Service was what it should be. Until next time Oaxaca. At $100 a night I might be able to recommend this hotel but @$200 plus it's a hard no for us.

Hotel is very nice, the food is great !!!! Be sure to visit the Spa while you are there. The staff at the bar is very friendly. The only issue I had was the AC in my room only worked the first 2 days then it stopped blowing cold air. i reported it 3 times but only got checked once with no help.

I stayed at the Casa Bonita for two nights during my visit to Oaxaca. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, I was told that the restaurant is still open, and they have room service. The front desk was particularly helpful in helping arrange taxis and my 4 AM trip to the airport.

The hotel was fine but I cut my stay early and left after one night because it’s impossible to sleep. There is a nightclub on site that plays music loudly until 3am. I can’t undertake why they have this - completely goes against the hotels positioning as a luxury boutique relaxing experience. Management refused to given me a refund for the night I didn’t stay. The gym and spas is also non existent (two treadmills in a tiny room) and the service is as basic.

I mostly come to this hotel for spa treatments. The girls who give you the treatments are very good and they make you super happy and relaxed. Before the treatments you can have either sauna or steam room. I highly recommend body wrap but other massages are also very good The rooms, some are smaller some bigger, but all rather nice Breakfast is fine, simple As to dinner, we could not get any. No menú no wine list waiters confused and untrained. We waited for a couple minutes and left for a real restaurant in downtown I will still come back, soon, for the spa, but dinner eslewhere
