Hotel is okay, but the property itself is not 5 stars. Building is older, and you can tell. The house keeping does a good job, but they come to the room like 5 times a day at times that are totally inconvenient. For example, night service came at 9:30 pm when our baby was sleeping. I do not want drinks or stuff brought at almost 10 pm. I want to rest at 10 pm. When it comes to the beach, it is small but nicely kept. Only drawback is that people have left their towels at 6 am, so finding a spot is almost impossible. Food is also okay, but we expected more fruits and vegetables. The rest is good.

The Americana Coral Beach was beautiful. Spacious rooms overlooking the multiple pools and white sand beach. Food and drink available pool side and in some pools you don't even leave the water. The staff provided service with a smile. Great hotel.

The staff of the resort were so incredibly kind and attentive to details. The ocean was clear, bright aqua and blue, with no heavy waves. They offer many water sport activities such as jet skiing, scuba diving with turtles, snorkelling, and free paddle boarding. The food was absolutely delicious, I’ve seen many people complain about resort food and its quality but at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach I promise you food will never be an issue. It’s delicious and its quality is amazing. Overall, I would 100% come back again. It has been an extremely positive experience for both me and my partner. I would also like to add that this resort is EXTREMELY family friendly but there’s many activities that they offer that are adults only that you can enjoy. Book at this resort, I promise you’ll never regret it. We booked for 6 days and we were doing/eating something new everyday but there was still so much more we haven’t tried. I highly recommend coming here, it was such a pleasure to be there.

It was our first time at this hotel, and it was amazing. The property is very organized and clean. There are plenty of food and drink options, so you’ll definitely find something you like. The pool area is great, with multiple pools—including ones with bars—and even a connected adult and kids’ pool, which makes parents’ lives much easier. For children, there’s also an amazing kids’ zone with lots of activity spaces, areas to play, and fun presentations.

Beautiful resort with very attentive staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, good restaurants and food choices, nice sized gym with enough equipment for a good workout, plenty of beach chairs (if you head out early and reserve them with personal items), good classes/activities. Since we went during Feb break, there were lots of families. Beach chair placement was crowded and difficult to find a place to settle. Loved the aquatic trampoline, aquatic spin, aloe, and sand scrub classes. Instructors are engaging. Hibachi entertainment was the best we've ever experienced... chef was funny and engaging (participation makes it more fun!). Beach area wasn't huge/very flat for playing sports. No permanent beach volleyball net. Wanted to kayak/paddleboard, but it was too windy the entire time we were there. Wish they had more exercise classes or allowed more participants in some classes (i.e., pool yoga, painting, etc.). This was 1st all-inclusive we've done as we never think it's worth it since we don't drink and eat much, however, it was convenient and the higher end food choices made it feel like it was worth it. Would consider an all-inclusive again for the right price.

Most food was not good. Steakhouse was amazing! Definitely family oriented with lots of kids/families. Loud music and private events right outside in courtyard with loud music late at night, rooms have no sound barrier. Beach is beautiful! Pool is nice. Chairs are close together and not enough for crowded resort. If looking for a budget friendly place with beautiful view in heart of cancun to party or lots of kids then not bad.

This is the first time I have ever written a review, but I felt I had to share my experience. The amount of mold throughout the hotel, including in the rooms and hallways, was very disappointing. The dampness of the beds was really unpleasant. I couldn’t stand the smell and had to ask to change rooms several times, but no matter how many times I moved, it was always the same. I wanted to switch to another hotel, but since I was traveling with children, moving around inside such a large resort was too difficult, and in the end I gave up. Other than that, the service and food were excellent, I understand that it’s a humid climate, but it was far too bad. Next time I stay in Cancun, I’ll make sure to check how old the hotel is before booking.

Used to be 5 diamonds when I stayed last and decided to return after 10years. I wish I didn’t. Spa used to be world class. Now mediocre with non functioning rooms. Steam room with no steam, sauna not hot, mud room stale. The beach is fight for umbrellas and good luck finding someone to bring u an umbrella. Waited 40mins. Buffet is always empty and very slow to refill. Room service serve cold food and very stingy. Like super stingy. As non drinker, only 1 meal type of diet, its loss for me as all inclusive. But the servers and room service at dinner never failed to make you feel like you are ordering too much food. Thank you for fat shaming. Mind you Portions as so small. The burger came literally with 5 pieces of fries. 5 pieces for god sake. The cherry on top was the sealed loofas in room that had fungus. I can list more things. But I wish I didn’t return to witness how bad this hotel as gotten. I hope they turn it around. It’s a shame. Never going back.

The room was very clean and had a great view. The sales pitch for the vacation club is a straight up scam. We did the pitch and got the upgraded bracelet for exclusive beach access and premium drinks, very nice to have. The drinks were sooo much better. Not even close. The loungers at the beach and wait staff was really great. You can only get premium drinks from the staff and bar at the exclusive end. The premium bar is upstairs and is not the bar located right on the beach behind the exclusive zone loungers. Found that out about half way through the first day.

Great spot for families or groups. If you are looking for a party resort this is not it. However, it is walking distance from the clubs and our group of 5 girls felt safe. The food at the resort was AMAZING. Our favorite was the sushi menu at Tori. We also went to the seafood restaurant for all our lunches and the breakfast buffet is great. The only points knocked were for the rooms; the bathrooms had moldy ceilings. Other than this, it was the perfect weekend getaway!

The resort is very nice however the rooms are very dated and worn down. We were staying at room 421 & the sink had multiple cracks & the bathroom drain was very rusty & there was hole around the drain.

The check-in was okay. Despite being a VIP Expedia member, I was not offered any upgrade. I have visited five all-inclusive resorts in Cancun in the last five years, and this one does not meet the standard of a true 5-star resort. Room: Outdated. If it’s not the service, it’s a ok experience considering its price. The terrible service from the front desk. Jay’s manager (I didn’t see the name tag clearly, the name starts with letter “E”), who yelled at me with my baby on the side. He didn’t try to solve the issue, but try to make me accept his decision. I have never seen such rude service even in motel.

The staff really made this a great experience. They provided great service and made my family and I feel like VIPs. That said, I do encourage caution for people who have mobility issues. The main buffet area has a ramp to go to the dining tables, but the primary way to be able to access the food is using stairs. Noticing that made me notice that the doors on the bathrooms across from the cafe are round knobs that could be hard for people to push open. None of these were deal breakers for us, but I do think people with mobility issues may want to be intentional about requesting rooms closer to elevators and create a plan that lets them maximize eating in places that are more accessible.

First of all, I shared this info with the manager prior to leaving incase they weee not already aware. That said, This hotel should be rated closer to a 2-star for service. I am not a picky traveler at all, and have low standards, and the service was just terrible. To get into the standard breakfast buffet-be prepared to wait in a line for 30 minutes EVERY morning. If there is a line, why would you not get more staff to help seat people? Or, simply add more tables to accommodate more people. The fact that there is a line daily and the hotel is comfortable with that speaks volumes about the level of service. Never in my life have I seen a line to enter a buffet, much less a 30 minute wait. Also, why would there be a cafe, but never an attendant present in the morning when it’s prime time for people to get coffee? Half the time there was a huge line waiting at the coffee bar and nobody there working. Also, the workers had no idea what an espresso shot was. Some would say they don’t have espressos, 30 minutes later someone else was making them… Lastly, it seems like the staff rarely spoke English. I understand it’s Mexico, but it really becomes a problem when they are constantly bringing you the wrong order and drinks because they don’t understand you. At a hotel this expensive, I’d expect that the staff can understand English. Many times they were confused about the time events start, everywhere you go there is conflicting answers. This is frustrating when trying to plan.

We conducted a large amount of research prior to making our all-inclusive resort selection for our first trip to Cancun. The time spent was well worth it. We came across many reviews referring to incredible service. They were spot on. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts, but this one had the best service by far. They serviced our room multiple times per day. It was almost as if the restaurants informed housekeeping every time we checked in to eat. Our room was always serviced upon our return from breakfast and dinner. The restaurants were as advertised and met our expectations. We highly suggest making dinner reservations for your entire trip immediately following checking in. The line for the indoor morning breakfast buffet is usually very long and we definitely observed guest getting frustrated. This was not a problem for us, as we only ate there once before finding Isla Cantoy outside that is the other restaurant open for breakfast. Not only did we find the food better there, but found the best service staff we every had at an all-inclusive resort. FANASCA, FERNANDO, and ALEX were absolution amazing!!! They knew us by name the second visit and were right there to greet us every morning for the remainder of our stay. The three of them made what was already a great vacation incredibly better. We also had the pleasure of being taken care of pool side all week by ELIZATETH. Our drinks were never empty, and always served with the most pleasant smile and attitude.

This property is in one of the best locations . Very beautiful resort with excellent views, private beach , easy accessibility to certain water related activities. . The staffs were welcoming, courteous and knowledgable. The rooms were ok although I wish the floor were carpeted . The beds were comfortable. Regarding dining options , we liked the breakfast buffet . There were not much options on lunch and dinner but food was good. We could not get a dinner reservation in steak house at Havana club even though we tried to book it few days earlier. Overall we enjoyed our stay here as a family. Definitely worth the money.

It was amazing experience for three nights stay. Very close to ferry to Isla Mujeres and Chedraui Supermar to shop grocery and souvenirs. In addition, property' staff were very nice and kind for all. Two things needs to improve for this hotel: 1. Room cleaning 2. It is older property than Hyatt viva which is located on right next to Grand fiesta. so it feels very old which is not modern. Also, the beach is not big enough so spent most of time in the pool. overall, I was very satisfied during your stay. Thanks the team

The staff of the resort were so incredibly kind and attentive to details. The ocean was clear, bright aqua and blue, with no heavy waves. They offer many water sport activities such as jet skiing, scuba diving with turtles, snorkelling, and free paddle boarding. The food was absolutely delicious, I’ve seen many people complain about resort food and its quality but at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach I promise you food will never be an issue. It’s delicious and its quality is amazing. Overall, I would 100% come back again. It has been an extremely positive experience for both me and my partner. I would also like to add that this resort is EXTREMELY family friendly but there’s many activities that they offer that are adults only that you can enjoy. Book at this resort, I promise you’ll never regret it. We booked for 6 days and we were doing/eating something new everyday but there was still so much more we haven’t tried. I highly recommend coming here, it was such a pleasure to be there.

The property was all inclusive. However, there was an additional charge at the steakhouse. This was not made clear by the staff at the steakhouse. It was in the fine print, but who reads that, especially when the lighting is very low in the restaurant. The waiter was pushing the items that had an up charge. I feel that the waiter or the concierge staff that helped book the restaurant could have mentioned not all items on the menu were all inclusive.

Beautiful resort with very attentive staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, good restaurants and food choices, nice sized gym with enough equipment for a good workout, plenty of beach chairs (if you head out early and reserve them with personal items), good classes/activities. Since we went during Feb break, there were lots of families. Beach chair placement was crowded and difficult to find a place to settle. Loved the aquatic trampoline, aquatic spin, aloe, and sand scrub classes. Instructors are engaging. Hibachi entertainment was the best we've ever experienced... chef was funny and engaging (participation makes it more fun!). Beach area wasn't huge/very flat for playing sports. No permanent beach volleyball net. Wanted to kayak/paddleboard, but it was too windy the entire time we were there. Wish they had more exercise classes or allowed more participants in some classes (i.e., pool yoga, painting, etc.). This was 1st all-inclusive we've done as we never think it's worth it since we don't drink and eat much, however, it was convenient and the higher end food choices made it feel like it was worth it. Would consider an all-inclusive again for the right price.

The resort and rooms were beautiful. The food was good but the lines to get a table at the buffet was so long everytime, and then once inside the line for omelet's was also very long! The coffee shop was nice but slow and the barista was never sure if they had espresso or not and needed improvement. The evening shows were not in a consistent place so we never could figure out what was happening in the evenings, we fortunately saw activity and went to see a few but was difficult to find. We had photos done and the photography place was easy to work with. My family has been to alot of resorts in Mexico and while this place was nice we would likely not return to this one.

Only part we don’t appreciate is the insistence and time sharing. USA visitors do not want to go through a one or three hour presentation because we just going to say “No!”. I literally have to tell the front desk we didn’t come here for a timeshare purchase, I came to relax and not be stressed by salespeople.

Loved everything about the property. The gym was especially nice as it had excellent AC and accommodations. Loved having adult only areas. Excellent food and plenty of towels and chairs. Only disappointment was Mother Nature delivering large amounts of seaweed on the beach.
