Magnifique hotel ! Chambre tres jolie et propre avec équipement nécessaires. 3 superbes piscines avec trois ambiance différente (festive,sport,zen) pour tous les gouts. Petit-déjeuner buffet excellent, idem pour le bar restaurant. Mais le point fort de cette hotel est le personnel, qui plus que charmant (peu importe le secteur : reception,serveur,barman,room service...). Toujours souriant et a l'ecoute lorsqu'on a besoin.

As soon as we arrived the hotel staff were amazing and so helpful. The hotel is situated on a steep hill but the bell staff were always on hand with electric carts to help you to and from your room and help with bags. The breakfast buffet included with our room was also fantastic. A really broad offering of traditional and world foods with eggs cooked to order and fresh fruit, pastries, and hot food. The hotel has two pools, one with a swim up bar. All facilities were clean and modern but the friendliness of the staff really made it for us. Thanks to all at Namaka resort

Rooms were dirty , air con didn’t work .. pool area floors were filthy ! There is a children’s water slide thag had no water running down in .. the kids pool has a stoney floor which my daughter cut her foot open on this is not a 4/5 star hotel

Maintenance needs attention, inside villa with pool was lovely however the outside bits falling off, banging during night. Main pools require tiling to be done, a couple of unsafe areas. You are far from Kamala beach, definitely not 15 mins walk, we used shuttle in and some days caught taxi back, 200baht sometimes 140 on the Indrive app. 230baht into Patong 400-500 baht back. Nice quiet place to relax and recommend the villa with plunge pool

Need some lifts to the rooms for older people ,stairs are too unsafe for older people, and also need proper ramps with railings on the slopey areas on the property .Also need walkin showers in all the rooms ,the deep bath is too dangerous for older people .

The staff was wonderful, always ready to help or serve. Our room was as advertised, great view, and well maintained. To get around just rent a scooter or use the shuttle service. Pools to hang around or exercise (25m). Breakfast had huge variety. Overall a great vacation.

I quite enjoyed my stay at the resort! Absolutely STUNNING views, the breakfast was great. The resort was nice, though needs some superficial updates/renovations. But overall it was beautiful. The staff were super helpful. The pool was nice and refreshing. I would stay there again. The only thing I would note that wasn't obvious when I booked is there is a LOT of stairs and as someone who just had knee surgery I did struggle a little bit, BUT they do have buggies that can take you where you want to go around the resort, I was just a bit too stubborn to use them all the time. But those stairs lead you to the best views! Highly recommend!

Hillside rooms basic and rear corridor access is host to an array of AC condensor units whirring. Main hotel is fine - and stunning views. Food in the restaurant is very good and good value compared to other resorts. Pools are decent but the upper pool suffers from constant loud music. A one-off perhaps but our child cut open knee in pool on something sharp. The staff prevented us from leaving the property until they had checked our rooms - a complete first for me in all my years, and it was not a good experience. Was made to wait until they had carried out their checks whilst being surveilled by their staff. Terrible way to end a stay.

Rummet luktade väldigt mycket mögel. Balkongen hade fantastisk utsikt, men dynorna var smutsiga och balkongen var sliten. Hade varit bra om det fanns extra handduk eller filt på rummet så att man kunde ligga på madrassen på balkongen. Så synd. Även poolområdet hade bara smutsiga stolar och madrasser. Toaletterna hade smutsigt golv. Priset motsvarar inte hotellets standard. Badhanddukarna var små och slitna. Fantastisk utsikt från alla rum. Frukosten var magisk! Då hotellet ligger på ett berg, så är det väldigt backigt. Hotellet har stora golfbilar för att skjutsa gästerna. Men vill man röra på sig, var beredd på en svettig promenad till rummet. Shuttle buss till stan fungerade bra och smidigt. Bokas 2 timmar innan avfärd. Trevlig och gästvänlig personal. För halva priset hade hotellet varit riktigt bra, om man bortser från mögellukten på hotellrummet.

Our room got cleaned everyday and yet there was still always sand on the floor that we did not put there, as we did not visit the beach. Otherwise, absolutely beautiful stay! Loved the breakfast, the pool, the views and the kind staff.

Upon check in: Fridge had leftover food in it, bath tub was dirty. I removed food and cleaned the tub. Told front desk staff, they didn't even bother to change my room. Told me they would get someone to clean it. But by the time their staff would come, I would've cleaned it myself. First day after check in: Was 11am taking a nap cause we're on holiday. Got a call to move by car from my car park allocated by their security the night before saying "road maintenance". When I came down 2 hours later, no road maintenance could be seen and another car taken my spot. Was rather annoyed. What's worse was I got woken up after I went back to nap by construction noise from a room below. There was a pickup truck with construction materials, and non stop drilling below. Asked hotels.com to change my hotel but they failed, this website's service has gone trash since it changed its owner. The hotel keycard was bad 3x (I stayed 3 nights). The 3rd time I went to get it updated I was so annoyed I told off the reception staff, no sorry no apologies. Very poor reception staff not courteous at all. Been to Phuket 5 times, and to Thailand more than 20 times, Thai hotel staff are overwhelmingly polite. This hotel's staff at the front desk was horrible. Their concierge and room-keeping and breakfast staff were good though.

Beautiful Property, Hillside with amazing pool views. Breakfast Buffet was the best out of all our stops. Only downfall was cleanliness of room, had to go to the front desk twice to get them to clean room properly. Floors were not mopped after last guest only swept so after walking barefoot our feet were disgusting and dirty foot prints in bath tub left by maid.

The property needs renovation, painting , changing of outdoor items. For example my balcony I didn’t feel the urge to sit out there. The seatings had mildew, the painting was rusty. There were cobwebs in my room. Lots of bugs comes in at night. The upkeep needs to be done. For my appearance means a lot to me. And I personally think repainting would lift it up a bit. Also, an elevator. Those stairs are killers.

We were given a used room, the bed showed the imprint that someone was recently laying in it. Used coffee cup on the table with trash. Unfortunately we flew in at midnight so we weren’t able to get another hotel. Ended up staying in a different room there for one night, overall it just felt uncomfortable and not very clean. Floors were creaky and rooms had a weird stench. The photos were nothing like how they were advertised on Expedia. Checked into Sunprime Kamala Beach Resort the next day and highly recommend booking there

If you have any kind of noise sensitivity, simply don't stay here. I struggled to sleep over the drone of the air con even after I asked to be moved to a quieter room. It simply is what you pay for, there's a reason its a cheaper option but it really barely is worth what you pay. Also, if you can, just do breakfast elsewhere. What is on offer is not good at all.

First two nights we had a beautiful room and view. Third night we had to move to another room because of a separate booking. Had to be moved three times because of flying bugs that had pooled on the deck and when the door opened infested our room. This happened to numerous people. The room we ended up with was in building 7 and no view looked at a brick wall. Buildings 1,2, 3,4. Were lovely. Dont stay in 5,6 and 7. Alot are old and not renovated. The property overall was very nice.

Pretty hotel, but terrible Wi-Fi! Only place it was working OK was in breakfast area. In my room and balcony it was not working at all most of the time. So no Wi-Fi calls home to my family. “New” towels was all very stained and didn’t feel clean at all. The hotel is about 2km away from Kamala beach, and also the closest store. 200baht one way with transport and no pedestrian lane if you want to walk instead Breakfast was pretty boring, a lot of stuff but not so good to eat.

Loved the views and the concierge guys always helpful. Didn’t like; - mouldy smelling rooms which was the biggest negative - noisy air conditioning in the rooms - bleach smell when arrived - poor internet always disconnecting - good not great - unable to charge to room Overall it was far from a 5 star experience.

Hillside rooms basic and rear corridor access is host to an array of AC condensor units whirring. Main hotel is fine - and stunning views. Food in the restaurant is very good and good value compared to other resorts. Pools are decent but the upper pool suffers from constant loud music. A one-off perhaps but our child cut open knee in pool on something sharp. The staff prevented us from leaving the property until they had checked our rooms - a complete first for me in all my years, and it was not a good experience. Was made to wait until they had carried out their checks whilst being surveilled by their staff. Terrible way to end a stay.

Magnifique hotel ! Chambre tres jolie et propre avec équipement nécessaires. 3 superbes piscines avec trois ambiance différente (festive,sport,zen) pour tous les gouts. We had no air conditioning in our room . Staff came to fix it and said we had in down to low . We called them back hour later to report that it wax still not working and they told us it was fixed .they would not change rooms . We left the next day for different resort and they would not refund our stay . Very disappointed and staff was very rude. .

We wouldn’t stay here again. As others have said, it gives 3* not 5* facilities, cleanliness and staff. My partner left (luckily a cheap) watch sitting out in our room, and it had totally disappeared by the time we returned. I am aware there are signs advising to put valuables in the safe deposit boxes, but surely this shouldn’t happen. The bar in the hotel closed at 10pm, turning people away for drinks and giving us our bill to ensure we left and they could close properly. Would not stay here again.

Check-in took a long time, didn't get my room until 4:30 p.m. Seems like they just forgot about me. The restaurant was disappointing, the service was not good, they gave me a menu and then disappeared, I had to wait 20 minutes before finding them and telling them I wanted to order. Everything is much more expensive at the resort, but the portions were disappointing considering the price. The hotel is located far away and is suitable for those who just want to stay at the hotel and relax. But then the service, food experience, and prices should be more normal. An Americano coffee costs 150 bath, which is equivalent to 5 euros, which is more than it costs in Europe.

Took at least 15 minutes to even been acknowledge by staff at the reception and bar. Only seemed to accommodate for Asian and Russian guests. After high level of luxury in the hotel before I checked out the same day and they wouldn’t even arrange a buggy to help me with my bags. Worst hotel stayed at in Thailand.

Upon check in: Fridge had leftover food in it, bath tub was dirty. I removed food and cleaned the tub. Told front desk staff, they didn't even bother to change my room. Told me they would get someone to clean it. But by the time their staff would come, I would've cleaned it myself. First day after check in: Was 11am taking a nap cause we're on holiday. Got a call to move by car from my car park allocated by their security the night before saying "road maintenance". When I came down 2 hours later, no road maintenance could be seen and another car taken my spot. Was rather annoyed. What's worse was I got woken up after I went back to nap by construction noise from a room below. There was a pickup truck with construction materials, and non stop drilling below. Asked hotels.com to change my hotel but they failed, this website's service has gone trash since it changed its owner. The hotel keycard was bad 3x (I stayed 3 nights). The 3rd time I went to get it updated I was so annoyed I told off the reception staff, no sorry no apologies. Very poor reception staff not courteous at all. Been to Phuket 5 times, and to Thailand more than 20 times, Thai hotel staff are overwhelmingly polite. This hotel's staff at the front desk was horrible. Their concierge and room-keeping and breakfast staff were good though.

Wonderful customer service. Very helpful and friendly. Ra, the manager, was very attentive to everyone’s needs and safety. He also made sure all guests were getting into the correct hired cars and really watched out for his guests. We would stay here again!

The staff was wonderful, always ready to help or serve. Our room was as advertised, great view, and well maintained. To get around just rent a scooter or use the shuttle service. Pools to hang around or exercise (25m). Breakfast had huge variety. Overall a great vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Namaka! The staff were so kind and welcoming. Everyone was so kind to our baby and the cleaning staff even brought a baby bath tub for us to use. They had a portable crib set up in our room that was great as well. You are a bit outside of town but there is a free shuttle once an hour that we used to go to the beach. There is also a bit of a rockier beach just down the hill in front of the hotel that we enjoyed walking along. We had read some worrying reviews before our stay but were overall very happy - yes some parts of the resort are a bit tired but we were still pleased with the price we paid. View from the property is amazing! We ordered room service once and it arrived within 20 minutes and we also ate at the restaurant a few times because it was convenient with our baby - always enjoyed!

The hotel is great. Amazing view from the sea view room. The location is just inconvenient as it’s not really near the main Kamala beach. Getting out of the strip is a minimum ~200 baht taxi ride. The hotel has limited shuttles.

Property is good but located very far from any market. Even for grocery or pharmacy shop you have to book a cab as nothing is at walkable distance. If you want to travel to Patong consider paying already 1200 tbh for a round trip using grab .

Great place to stay, beautiful views. it’s a little bit of a walk (or motorcycle taxi ride) to get to some of the bigger, cleaner beaches, but the view from the resort is unparalleled. The pool and lounge area is prettier than the pictures and it feels like you’re in a movie.

Great views and good location, staff were accommodating. Shuttle takes. you to Kamala Beach. Not ideal for people with mobility issues as it is on a hill with lots of stairs. Could use a little refresh, had some peeling paint.

If you have any kind of noise sensitivity, simply don't stay here. I struggled to sleep over the drone of the air con even after I asked to be moved to a quieter room. It simply is what you pay for, there's a reason its a cheaper option but it really barely is worth what you pay. Also, if you can, just do breakfast elsewhere. What is on offer is not good at all.

Wonderful place. Views are special. Staff are fantastic. Restaurant could be improved a bit to make it top class. Breakfast is good though an option to have just a little rather than the whole buffet would be good. The shuttle service is a bonus. Easy to get to Kamala central. I did not mind the hill as the buggy drivers were always there to help. Staff who were great were Thae, Ae the restaurant manager, Pon and housekeeper See. Others too, I didn’t get their names. Loved the night time music duo. I’ll be back! Thank you so much.

The room service was a huge let down - expensive and flavourless. Got the beef burger on 2 occasions and the patty was raw. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, just needs a bit of love and preferably more options for food and more activities.

Pretty hotel, but terrible Wi-Fi! Only place it was working OK was in breakfast area. In my room and balcony it was not working at all most of the time. So no Wi-Fi calls home to my family. “New” towels was all very stained and didn’t feel clean at all. The hotel is about 2km away from Kamala beach, and also the closest store. 200baht one way with transport and no pedestrian lane if you want to walk instead Breakfast was pretty boring, a lot of stuff but not so good to eat.

The property is nestled on the beachfront and very close to Kamala beach. The sea view from the room was breathtaking and the infinity pool was quite amazing. The hourly shuttle service to the beach is also good and adds comfort to your trip to the beach. The staff is also very humble and gentle. Though the food options are quite vast however vegetarian options are very few and thats the only negative i felt. The major saviour is bread, fruits and one or two pure veg dishes. We were travelling with our child and found it a bit difficult to cater to her food requirements. Other than that the overall experience was quite amazing.

Room was not ready when we checked in around 5pm, when we finally got our room, it was dirty. Floor was sticky, sandy. Table wasn’t wiped and especially the bathroom was dirty. We requested for it to be cleaned and they barely did anything to make the room clean. Service is terrible, no one at the pool to ask us if we wanted food and drinks. Had to walk to the bar to get our drinks. Overall this resort is not recommended, dirty and very poor customer service. Truly short staffed.
