Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Phuket was fantastic. The hotel itself is lovely and well-maintained, with great views over Kamala Beach. Staff and service was on point, which is especially important given you generally need to get driven to and from your room in a golf buggy due to the steep incline. Staff always had a smile on their face and genuinely looked like they were having fun working. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge array of cuisine - we often spent well over an hour there enjoying the food and coffee. The pool is great and was never as busy as you'd expect considering how nice it is.

Really good stay- amazing atmosphere! Excellent view from our room. We were with 3 children, had so much fun. Pool is amazing- the taxi service works great. Kids club we didn't use- but looks really good. Thank you Matmee from reception for everything! And also for the rest of the amazing crew! We liked it a lot!

Since the room is on a slope, it is difficult to go up and down on foot, but a cart will pick you up. Every hotel stuff is very friendly. The large infinity swimming pool is great. There is also a good program for children and it seemed to enjoy.

The resort is magnificent and very clean. Staff are amazing and very attentive. Limited dining options within walking distance but plenty of taxis and tuk tuk. Pool is unbeatable.

Servicen var fantastik, og rommet var eksemplarisk. Frokosten er den beste hotellfrokosten vi har sett opp gjennom årene - helt nylig og masse utvalg. Hotellet ligger en liten gåtur fra Kamala stranden, som er vår favoritt-strand i løpet av oppholdet, den er stor, men ikke for stor (Patong likte vi noe mindre), og det er mat, drikke, massasje etc ved stranden. Stranden ved hotellet er ikke noe særlig, men bassenget er fint, og det er bare en liten gåtur til Kamala Beach + det går shuttle fra hotellet to ganger om dagen også, eller man kan ta taxi for 50-100 kroner.

The stay was good and some of the team were excellent . One day my baby daughter was sick and we received couple of courtesy calls and follow ups . A huge thank you and highly appreciated. Few points to highlight: - We checked in first in a room which had a fungus odor , we requested a change which was done immediately to a better room. -Room cleanliness needs attention, alot of hidden dirty spots as well the daily cleaning is not perfect . -Breakfast items such as Tabouleh , Humus needs to be prepared as per the normal standard , taste is bad, please don't mix things. Breakfast variety needs to be improved, it is not comparable to other 5 star hotels. -At the pool , we had ordered bucket of beer which contains 5 bottles and they brought them all open !! when complained to the waiter he stated that this is how we serve them , he took the bucket back and never returned. Overall it was enjoyable

Unpleasant smell in the room, pillows and blankets that are not dry, some visible dust around pillows, mosquitos everywhere, virtually zero soundproofing for walls / door / balcony, dead bugs lying around, broken interior wall in corner areas, hairdryer that can't be used in the bathroom due to broken power plug, inconvenient to walk around, etc. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in for the last two decades, and I think the hotel needs a lot of work.

Just Casa Boho food taste was a let down when compared to breakfast or some other ceviche elsewhere. Trips and rides into town were arranged seamlessly Would love to come back again... very relaxing time. Thank you gto all the staffs.

Fast & smooth check-in. Staff are friendly and service is good. Great seaview can be seen from room balcony. Clean room and good amenities provided. The only thing to improve is the pillows which is too flat. Overall we enjoy our stay and will be happy to return again in future.

We where is supposed to have a higher floor with an ocean view, but it looked more like a tree view. The bathroom smelled like sewer and although we complained and they came in to try to correct the problem whatever they did did not work.

This property is old From the lobby to our room was old. Walls was dirty Mold in the shower Nothing like the picture show on Expedia website. Gross. Looks more like a motel then a 5 stars resorts. We paid $2700 for 4 nights. disappointing!!! Under staff. Buffet was like a riot Manager was rude. I just can’t believe this is the Hyatt!!!

Check in was a joke… clearly had no training experience and was left alone… cc card machine not working…. Blaming our cards not your fault… clearly it was in the end…. Arrived at 4.30pm to be told our pool room wasn’t ready and the male receptionist just smiled and laughed… it was going bad to worse We get into the room…. And it smelt terribly damp and like the room has been locked up for ages…. We had to sleep with the doors open with mosquitos all around … This was our honeymoon so extremely unwelming. Will not be going back Rob Clarke and Jacob Caws

Experience was fantastic The staff was very attentive and always eager to make our stay one we will remember Our room was very luxurious and the private outdoor space was great All the grounds were beautiful and the pools were very clean and enjoyable The carts to get from the bottom of the resort to the top were very much appreciated I enjoy a challenge hike but The carts are a calf saver We will be back again and add a few more days next time The club happy hour was fantastic Thanks for the memories Hyatt Regency Phuket !!!!!

We had 3 rooms, and each room had certain problems. For one, the hot tubs weren't working properly and we had to call the engineers multiple times. The same room, the a/c had problems so another set of engineers came multiple times. The second room wasn't cleaned well at all. There were hair and pieces of tissues left before check-in and on the second day of "make up my room". Somehow our third room was better (though less expensive than the other two rooms). However, all rooms had poor quality of clarity on their TV and the internet on it wasn't working at all. Our devices wouldn't connect despite the engineers bringing the casting cable. All of this was in 3 rooms over 2 days!

Very nice property on hillside with 24/7 golf buggy service - large pool and plenty of shade areas umbrellas and cabana’s. Our plunge pool room was very roomy and just in need of some minor maintenance work like tikes in bathroom and areas in living area chipped . Generally happy but there were a few communication issues with our requirements but they fixed the issues very quickly. Things like torn towels and not understanding our bedding requirements . But as I said they did sort them out after we complained. Breakfast was very good and the Latin American restaurant Casa Boho highly recommended. Would recommend and go back so overall very satisfied.

We where is supposed to have a higher floor with an ocean view, but it looked more like a tree view. The bathroom smelled like sewer and although we complained and they came in to try to correct the problem whatever they did did not work.

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Phuket was fantastic. The hotel itself is lovely and well-maintained, with great views over Kamala Beach. Staff and service was on point, which is especially important given you generally need to get driven to and from your room in a golf buggy due to the steep incline. Staff always had a smile on their face and genuinely looked like they were having fun working. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge array of cuisine - we often spent well over an hour there enjoying the food and coffee. The pool is great and was never as busy as you'd expect considering how nice it is.

Excellent propety but i had issues woth my bioking through Expedia. For some reason, one of rook.got cancelled and the hotel had to reinstate that which delayed our check i for a few hours. Not Hyatts fault but i think issue was from the Expedia booking. Accordingly i requested an adjecent rooms by getting it confirmed from Hyatt and didnt end up getting one because of this issue.

Overall, the hotel met our expectations, especially regarding the standard rooms. The general staff was extremely friendly and service-minded. However, a serious issue arose with the operations director, who refused to take any responsibility, even in obvious situations. On three consecutive occasions, there was no hot water in our room. Each time we called staff, and they confirmed the issue – yet he flatly denied it was the hotel’s problem. When I mentioned that it's unfortunately common in Thailand for technicians to claim that things work when they clearly don’t, he accused me of being racist. I found this deeply offensive and unfair. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been treated this poorly. As a result, I requested to check out early – despite having three nights left and being on a family trip. This man has the rare ability to ruin a great hotel and an outstanding team. Give him a beautiful hotel and a dedicated staff – and he will still manage to mess it up.

Check in was a joke… clearly had no training experience and was left alone… cc card machine not working…. Blaming our cards not your fault… clearly it was in the end…. Arrived at 4.30pm to be told our pool room wasn’t ready and the male receptionist just smiled and laughed… it was going bad to worse We get into the room…. And it smelt terribly damp and like the room has been locked up for ages…. We had to sleep with the doors open with mosquitos all around … This was our honeymoon so extremely unwelming. Beautiful property and fabulous rooms. The staff are very helpful. My only complaint was a lack of fresh milk in the room for tea and coffee. And the staff wanting to charge to provide fresh milk! Which they eventually didn't do and we got free milk :) Loved the buggy drivers who are unfailingly helpful and cheerful!!

There’s really not much to do around the hotel. Around the hotel there seems to be construction going on. In our room we couldn’t enjoy opening our windows as you saw pipes out of the ground and just not a nice view. Since there isn’t much to do around the hotel you have to take a cab everywhere. It can start adding up with cab rides. Just to get to the store you have to spend 400 tbh If you want to just lounge around and not go anywhere the hotel pool is nice. But other than that nothing to do.

Hotellet ligger en liten gåtur fra Kamala stranden, som er vår favoritt-strand i løpet av oppholdet, den er stor, men ikke for stor (Patong likte vi noe mindre), og det er mat, drikke, massasje etc ved stranden. Stranden ved hotellet er ikke noe særlig, men bassenget er fint, og det er bare en liten gåtur til Kamala Beach + det går shuttle fra hotellet to ganger om dagen også, eller man kan ta taxi for 50-100 kroner.

Property is well maintained and the staff are very attentive to the guest needs. We had issues with the kid's room aircon on the last night of our stay and it was quickly resolved the next day. The only thing is that the hotel is not walking distance to any eateries or markets so you would have to take a taxi out. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

Great hotel in quiet location. We started in the Family Room (w/ bunk beds) and its was a great room for our family of 4 (kids 9 & 12) Fantastic staff. Good breakfast options and specialist restaurants had good menus. A-la-carte food in the All Day Dining restaurant was not good.

Staff all across the board were very very po;ite and attentive, I am grateful to pool attendent Lee for retreiving my bracelet which I had lost on the pool. All the staff ion the Recency Club were very hospible and attentive. the young bartender prepared excellent coctails and was very attentive in refreshing our drinks. The breafast spred weas excelent, FRecency club should have more cooked food options during happy hour

Loungen högst upp är mycket bra och personalen är mycket trevlig och service minded. De är oerhört uppmärksamma och vänliga och vinglaset blir inte tomt innan de kommer och frågar om påfyllning. Buffen i loungen är bra och varierar delvis dag till dag. Kan rekommendera detta hotell.

Check in process is unnecessarily too long, there’s no reason to have to spend 10-15 minutes talking to the reservation receptionist when hotel is already paid in advance. Breakfast chefs do not understand how to cook eggs — everything is well done. After waiting 15-20, I went back to the eggs counter to remind them about my order and where I was sitting. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs came hard boiled. Also, don’t sit on the lower eating level outside, otherwise, be peppered to clean your own table let the empty plates sit on the table for a while.
