Sunwing Kamala resort was perfect for a family break in Phuket. The hotel has a number of pools to choose from, slides, kids entertainment, and kids clubs for all ages. The location is perfect, situated on a beautiful stretch of beach, with lots of options for shopping and eating near by. 7 even 3 minute walk, a local night market Monday to Friday right outside, you cannot ask for more.

The place is in very good condition. The facility is well taken care of and it is super big! The buffet is awesome, the pool is beautiful with big slides. The vibes are amazing for kids with kids clubs and activities. Very punctual and well-priced transportation to and from the airport. Reception very helpful and responsive. Rooms are clean, spacious and very cozy. The one thing I did not like is that although the hotel has beach access they do not have umbrellas at the beach. If I want to use the beach I need to rent form Sun Prime which is right beside them and that did not make much sense to me.

We stayed in a 'royal pool suite'. It was amazing! Get out of bed and jump in the pool! Free water in fridge every day and good service. FantaSea and Carnival just over the road. Markets outside the hotel 3x a week. They have souvenirs, clothing, gadgets and an awesome food isle. Hotel is close to/at the beach, but the front beach side is reserved for travellers over 16 yrs old. The back side is for families with kids. Very good fun with the 3 big water slides, pool bar and kid's activities. We didn't book any meals here. We just went to restaurants and shops outside. Would definitely come back here.

This resort is amazing and by far the best resort we've stayed at. Our family had a great experience staying here for the 2nd time. Check in was quick and easy and the rooms are spacious, clean and the best were very comfortable. Plenty of pools and chairs so you never struggle to find a place to sit by the pool. The staff are incredible! So kind and helpful and always saying hello when you walk past. The Buffet breakfast was delicious with so many choices it never got boring. I really couldn't fault the resort or the staff. I will defintely be staying here again!

Great place to bring kids. Staff were super friendly and helpful (shout out to Ding at the pool bar!). Great location, walkable to many restaurants and shops. We loved the kids club and the pools. Only recommendation would be to maintain/update some things (kids club sand toys were broken, ping pong table falling apart, bathroom was a bit dated, etc) but otherwise this place is perfect for families with kids.

방문할때마다 항상 행복한 기억을 남겨주는 고마운 곳입니다. 열흘간 가족들과 소중한 추억을 만들었습니다. 직원들은 친절하고 특히 Kids Club/ Teen Lounge의 직원들은 아이들의 지난 방문까지 기억해주고 활동에 참여하거나 지나가다 마주쳐도 마음을 다해주어 더 고마웠습니다. 이번 방문에서는 방의 청소상태나 신속성, 수건 교체가 조금 부족한 느낌이 들어 살짝 아쉬운 마음이 들었습니다. 환기하며 청소하지 않는지 외출에서 돌아오면 물건에 먼지가 새로 앉아있었어요. 바다쪽으로 나와서 조금만 걸으면 다양한 가격대의 식당들을 이용할 수 있고, 편의점이나 마트, ATM을 이용할 수 있습니다. 멀지 않아 후다닥 나가서 먹고 돌아와서 다시 물놀이로 복귀할 수 있는 거리입니다.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist super große Zimmer alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist zu teuer. Im Zimmer sind überall Ameisen wir mussten es der Rezeption melden, dass unser Zimmer mit insektenspray eingesprüht werden soll. Das war richtig nervig. Auf unserer Kleidung unseren Kosmetikdachen überall gabs Ameisen. Dafür muss man eine Lösung finden. Ansonsten in der Nähe des Strandes aber am Strand sind keine Liegen und keine Schirme, was auch sehr nervig war. Das Personal ist super nett. Würde nicht unbedingt erneut dieses Hotel buchen.

Fantastiskt hotell för en familj. Jättesköna sängar och fina rum. Rent och fint överallt. Suverän frukost. Det enda som var mindre bra var att det var glasflaskor med vatten i rummen, som dottern tappade i klinkersgolvet. Vi fick be städ om att städa bort glaset 3 ggr men det var fortfarande glasbitar kvar på golvet. Annars var allt som sagt fantastiskt!

Hotel was very good and exceptionally clean. Rooms were spacious and the staff were very friendly. Plenty of restaurants near by. Breakfast was ok, lots of options. Kids eat free if you dine in at the hotel restaurant. The hotel is card only but most places out and about are cash. Overall a great holiday and would definitely go back. About an hour transfer from the Airport.

We stayed in Sunwing Kamala Beach with our two kids for two weeks.The staff looked after us very well from the very first moment until the end of the holiday. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Pools are big and kids definitely enjoyed 3 water slides in the resort. Resort is right on the beach but unfortunately Sunwing Kamala doesn’t have any sun beds. On the same time it was great to see hotel staff taking care of the rubbish on the beach to keep beach as clean as possible. Breakfast buffet had options for everyone, lunch and dinner options in the restaurant had a great selection of Thai or International dishes. Complimentary kids a la carte was a nice touch. It was our first time in Thailand and we had mixed expectations prior to our holiday but I have to say Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort is on the top of their game. I would definitely recommend it for the families with kids as it is very “family oriented” hotel. I also would like to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the staff in the resort but particularly to FON who looked after us and take care of us very well. Beside of the taste of the dishes her warm and friendly service brought us to dine in the hotel restaurant several times a day rather than eating outside of the hotel. I come from the hospitality business and those staff members are the key of success once it comes to the service. So please keep her as long as you can. See you next time Sunwing Kamala Beach !!!

Check in was quick and easy and the rooms are spacious, clean and the best were very comfortable. Plenty of pools and chairs so you never struggle to find a place to sit by the pool. The staff are incredible! So kind and helpful and always saying hello when you walk past. The Buffet breakfast was delicious with so many choices it never got boring. I really couldn't fault the resort or the staff. I will defintely be staying here again!

Should probably be rated 3 stars. The location is excellent and the pools are nice but it’s so noisy everywhere. It feels like the rooms are made of cardboard. You can hear everything. If you’re a light sleeper, this is not a place for you.

We had an amazing stay. The service was excellent, our room was clean and spacious, and the hotel is in a great location. We liked the more quiet region of Kamala. The hotel is next to the beach and you can easily walk to shops/restaurants as well as to FantaSea and the carnival. It was very family friendly. It’s a great hotel.

We had a great experience staying at Sunwing. First we stayed at their beach bungalow as our 3 children love to be close to the beach, then we moved to the pool access family deluxe rooms. Renelyn from customer service was amazing helping with room recommendation and managing all accommodations for us. the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to all of our needs. I will definitely stay there again.

Sunwing Kamala resort was perfect for a family break in Phuket. The hotel has a number of pools to choose from, slides, kids entertainment, and kids clubs for all ages. The location is perfect, situated on a beautiful stretch of beach, with lots of options for shopping and eating near by. 7 even 3 minute walk, a local night market Monday to Friday right outside, you cannot ask for more.

Hotel was very good and exceptionally clean. Rooms were spacious and the staff were very friendly. Plenty of restaurants near by. Breakfast was ok, lots of options. Kids eat free if you dine in at the hotel restaurant. The hotel is card only but most places out and about are cash. Overall a great holiday and would definitely go back. About an hour transfer from the Airport.

We stayed in Sunwing Kamala Beach with our two kids for two weeks.The staff looked after us very well from the very first moment until the end of the holiday. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Pools are big and kids definitely enjoyed 3 water slides in the resort. Resort is right on the beach but unfortunately Sunwing Kamala doesn’t have any sun beds. On the same time it was great to see hotel staff taking care of the rubbish on the beach to keep beach as clean as possible. Breakfast buffet had options for everyone, lunch and dinner options in the restaurant had a great selection of Thai or International dishes. Complimentary kids a la carte was a nice touch. It was our first time in Thailand and we had mixed expectations prior to our holiday but I have to say Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort is on the top of their game. I would definitely recommend it for the families with kids as it is very “family oriented” hotel. I also would like to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the staff in the resort but particularly to FON who looked after us and take care of us very well. Beside of the taste of the dishes her warm and friendly service brought us to dine in the hotel restaurant several times a day rather than eating outside of the hotel. I come from the hospitality business and those staff members are the key of success once it comes to the service. So please keep her as long as you can. See you next time Sunwing Kamala Beach !!!

Tredje gången vi besöker detta hotell, barnen älskar det. Rent och fräscht med trevlig personal. Utomordentligt gym. Bra frukost, bra mat i restaurangerna. I år var priserna på shakes i poolbaren något för höga jämfört med stånd och övriga restauranger i området. Framförallt mangon som var dubbelt så dyr jämfört med övriga smaker. Fullkomligt oförklarligt. Städningen hade vi inget att anmärka på. Ska vi klaga på något så är det att vissa gäster inte respekterar rökförbudet då rökning endast får ske på särskilda platser.

In Some kitchen, staff LetLet, Lovi, and Alyssa were very accommodating and made us feel at home.

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Best rest I have had in a long time! Staff are so lovely. Only thing I didn’t rate well was the day spa, not worth the price. I got better treatments on the street. Khao Lak is a very quiet place. You don’t come here for the night life. You come here to relax and do a few day trips or diving in the dry season. No diving between may and October as the islands are closed for conservation.
