This was our second stay at Kamala Beach Hotel. From check in to check out we were made to feel welcome by the entire team. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Buffet breakfast has a huge selection of hot and cold choices. Although a big hotel the four spacious pools allow for guests to spread out and not feel crowded. The location right in the beach is glorious. A short stroll along the beach front or into the village will find you many options for meals, snacks, massages and shopping. Sunset sips on the beach a great way to end the day.

Relaxing Adults-Only Escape with Great Cocktails & Pools This large, adults-only resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway. With multiple refreshed pools, swim-up bars, and some of the most affordable cocktails we’ve found, you could easily spend days just unwinding on-site. The beachfront location is ideal — walking distance to plenty of seaside restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The buffet breakfast was a standout — easily the best we’ve had in Phuket. We booked an Ocean Wing room hoping for a beach view, but were upgraded to the Grand Wing. Though it was a bit farther from the beach, the bigger bed and closer proximity to the beautiful atrium-style pools made it a great trade-off. Since we visited during the Green Season, the sheltered pools away from the beach were perfect — warm, sunny, and free from wind and sand. Located right next to the family-friendly Sunwing Resort, it’s a spot we’ll definitely return to — this time with the kids! Kamala Beach is a relaxed town and still just a short taxi ride from the buzz of Patong.

We stayed at the adults only part of the hotel which was a 10/10. The pools are nice since there’s more than one. Breakfast was good as well, a lot of options. Also there’s massages for about 400baht at the hotel so nice!! There’s an ATM and a mini market at the hotel. Overall the staff is welcoming and nice. The location is great the beach is a two minute walk, there’s a 7-eleven right across the beach and a bunch of stores and restaurant on the street. Very convenient!! We enjoyed our stay.

Kamala beach hotel is on the beach and Kamala has enough restaurants and shops to make it not too busy, easy to walk to town. The hotel has no children and this is a bonus if you want to relax, the staff are friendly and polite. Great facilities gym, fitness classes massages are great. I wouldn't have a problem recommending this hotel to anyone and so glad we stayed here for our first time in Thailand.

My mom and I stayed at this resort in Jan of 2025! We absolutely loved it. From check in to check out the staff were friendly and helpful. Food: breakfast buffet was amazing and worth signing up for. We didn’t sign up for it initially but was no problem to go down and charge it to your room. Amazing coffee and amazing breakfast food lay out Pools were great, clean and lots of chairs to choose from. Multiple pools around the resort with swim up bars. The resort is directly in the beach so you are walkable distance to so many vendors and lunch/ dinner options. I’d recommend bread fusion that is on the strip. Amazing sandwhiches and smoothie bowls! Rooms were hugeeeeee, amazing amenities like a gym and workout classes, and massive balconies to enjoy some quiet time. The resort also had a minimarket you can go and buy water and snacks at. Overall would highly highly recommend this resort to stay at!!

When we arrived at the facility our room was in the second floor there’s no elevator the assistant has to help us carried our luggage On the second night of our stay there was no light in our room maybe they had power outage? The staff were very nice and helpful

Fint hotell med mange bassenger nær stranden. Egen restaurant både for frokost, lunsj og middag. Greie priser for mat. Ikke veldig billig og heller ikke dyrt! Resepsjonen er svært hyggelige. Veldig behjelpelige, og kan godt engelsk! Vi fikk kakerlakk på rommet. Housekeeping var flinke til å hjelpe, men synes det er dårlig at en kakerlakk kommer seg gjennom døren. Ellers var airconditionen bra, men bråkte en del. Badet var litt møkkete med flekker, trolig i den grad at det ikke kan vaskes vekk… Fine fasiliteter ellers! Treningsrommet var bra! Vi fikk matforgiftning herfra! Vær obs på bruschetta!! De var uansett flinke til å hjelpe når det trengtes!

Hotel wirkte etwas ungepflegt. Zimmer könnten sauberer sein. Muffiger Geruch im Zimmer. Qualität der Speisen zum Frühstück könnte besser sein. Ältere Liegen am Pool, werden bei Regen nicht weggeräumt, d.h. meistens seht nasse Liegen. Massagen im Hotel sehr empfehlenswert, viele Restaurants und Supermärkte fußläufig erreichbar. Betrifft nicht das Hotel: Viel Plastik und weiterer Abfall am Strand. Strandpromenade vor dem Hotel hat Baustellencharakter und ist aktuell nicht fertig gestellt.

Enjoyed the stay with lovely staff and relaxing surroundings. The staff is super friendly and made our stay delightful. The only reason we cannot give a full score review is that our room was very humid, and had a funny smell to it. On our last day we found mold on our belongings, and all of our things, clothes, suitcases and bags will have to be cleaned thoroughly after our stay. I recommend staying there, but make sure that the room is not in the poor state we had.

Loved the location right on the beach. Room very comfy black out curtains. Two wonderful beds and two big pillows. Big fridge a couch outdoor setting. Plus a walk-in shower. Breakfast had something for everyone.

Kamala Beach is a great place to be, not super busy but busy enough. Resort pool areas were gorgeous and comfortable. We had an 'upgraded room" - a junior suite - which was large but furthest from the beach and pool. In hindsight, would have booked a poolview room for a more convenient location.

I had a seven night stay arriving a day before my husband Checkin easy and was shown to our room to discover shower over the bath which was not suitable with knee inquiry so asked to change room No problem at all Spent one night by myself and as room had floor above could hear guests walking and furniture being moved during night Asked to change room again to floor above and no problem at all So now in top floor and just great Notice telly was not new so could not get Netflix etc on so asked if anything could be done and sure enough they changed with brand new tv Amazing the hotel did not make me feel I was being annoying just wanted me to be comfortable I highly recommend this place

It is in a good location. Alot of Europeans who stay over the winter. Good area in front of hotel for swimming - altho not for snorkelling. Good massage on site. I moved rooms 3 times. 1st room, on ground floor, dark and smelt damp. 2nd room above, had noisy neighbours stomping about upstairs. Finally, 3rd room, top floor...ok. All have old aircon system, either noisy or not cooling room. Thks to 1 European staff member for all their help.

I moved rooms 3 times. 1st room, on ground floor, dark and smelt damp. 2nd room above, had noisy neighbours stomping about upstairs. Finally, 3rd room, top floor...ok. All have old aircon system, either noisy or not cooling room. Thks to 1 European staff member for all their help.

This property had lush, green, grounds right on the beach which looked amazing. The pool area was beautiful as well and had adequate parking and a security guard. The room was very spacious, clean, with a small patio where you can observe different birds flying around. There are many restaurants that are within 7 minutes walk and various currency exchange shops. The only negative is that the wait staff in the dining area needs to be more consistent in their interaction with guests because they would cater to some while others had to fend for themselves. The breakfast was also very good but the only downside was that the juice was made from concentrate and not freshly squeezed.

I stayed in Deluxe rm 4101, 2-14th June, beach wing. Great view, clean and comfortable. Great beach location. Very relaxing, loving the Adults Only vibe by the pools enjoying the sea breeze. Perfect for solo travellers, couples and friends wanting to unwind. Breakfast, restaurant and bars excellent, with good variety. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The service is exceptional and one of the best I have ever experienced. I will return to Kamala Beach Resort. 9.5 for this mid range establishment. I actually extended by 3 days. Just wonderful!

Always so nice personal, breakfast was topp. I ordered pickup from airport but no one came and the airport was going to close. I phoned the hotel but no answer. Thanks to airport personal who could fix a transport to the hotel. Hotel had no explanation though I had send flight numbers And arriveltime. I can recomend this hotel.

The hotel, the pools, restaurant and other facilities were all great. Unfortunately the beach is very dirty. Although the girl cleaned the beach every morning, there was an abundance of trash all over the beach.

Great spot in Kamala. A much more peaceful spot than Patong. The hotel is amazing, it's location has to be the best in Kamala., sitting right on the shore. It's clean, and the staff are amazing. Everyone is so helpful and genuinely try to mar your stay extra special. There are more pricey hotels nearby that are probably more modernz, but their location has nothing on Sunprime. Also no screaming kids due to it being adults only. We met a couple who have been coming for 15 years every year. We will be back. Special mention for Lee in the pool bar and one of the guys in the breakfast room who's name unfortunately eludes me, but he was great. They also gave us an upgraded room and a bottle of champagne on arrival after discovering it was our honeymoon through prior conversation.

The property is in a superb position on the beech . There are many pools with no hassle in finding sun loungers . Staff are very pleasant. Only small disappointment was that the restaurant food could have been a little better as lots of oil on many dishes .

With multiple refreshed pools, swim-up bars, and some of the most affordable cocktails we’ve found, you could easily spend days just unwinding on-site. We stayed at the adults only part of the hotel which was a 10/10. The pools are nice since there’s more than one. Breakfast was good as well, a lot of options. Also there’s massages for about 400baht at the hotel so nice!! There’s an ATM and a mini market at the hotel. Overall the staff is welcoming and nice. The location is great the beach is a two minute walk, there’s a 7-eleven right across the beach and a bunch of stores and restaurant on the street. Very convenient!! We enjoyed our stay.

Veldig behjelpelige, og kan godt engelsk! Vi fikk kakerlakk på rommet. Housekeeping var flinke til å hjelpe, men synes det er dårlig at en kakerlakk kommer seg gjennom døren. Ellers var airconditionen bra, men bråkte en del. Badet var litt møkkete med flekker, trolig i den grad at det ikke kan vaskes vekk… Fine fasiliteter ellers! Treningsrommet var bra! Vi fikk matforgiftning herfra! Vær obs på bruschetta!! De var uansett flinke til å hjelpe når det trengtes!

The Staff here are wonderful, all very friendly and most go out of their way to help you. Jinny on the front desk was fabulous. I had an issue with my room and she sorted it straight away. I would have liked to have heard more relaxing music by the pool though. Pool and Dinner menu was very average. Served to you in cardboard boxes. Should be more Thai choices.

This was our second stay at Sunprime and this time with family. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The location can’t be beaten. Right in the beach. Many restaurants within an easy walk. The main village just around the corner and the night markets close by too. The perfect location for a slower paced holiday. We’ll be back!
