Quelques déconvenues lors de notre séjour : Tout d’abord, nous sommes arrivés en avance pour le check-in : à 11h au lieu de 15h. La personne à la réception nous a alors annoncé que les chambres seraient disponibles à 12h. Nous avons donc décidé de patienter. Mais, de retour à 12h, on nous demande de payer 25 € pour pouvoir accéder à la chambre. Cette information ne nous avait pas été communiquée au départ. Si nous l’avions su, nous aurions refusé et serions partis faire autre chose en attendant. Je pense que si un supplément est demandé, il faut en informer clairement le client dès le début, afin qu’il puisse faire un choix en connaissance de cause. Ensuite, concernant le ménage : aucune information ne nous a été donnée. Nous pensions, comme dans la plupart des hôtels, qu’il était fait automatiquement chaque matin. En réalité, il faut en faire la demande explicite. Nous l’avons découvert le dernier jour… Là encore, un manque de communication dès l’arrivée. Enfin, nous avons voulu nous installer près de la piscine pour nous détendre, mais on nous a demandé de quitter les lieux car une séance photo allait avoir lieu ! J’en reviens toujours pas… Bref, la seule chose positive de notre séjour a été le petit-déjeuner. Pour ce qui est de l’expérience client, il y a clairement des points à revoir.

The parking was 10€ per day which is a lot I think. It was always hard to get out of the parking lot because the System didnt work properly and we had to go to the reception Desk everytime. The surrounding was pretty noisy as the tram had a Bell that Rung all the Time. There was a children Soccer Team on the Same corridor that was pretty noisy. Additionally the rooms only get cleaned every Third day

I wished I could write about my positive memories about Novotel Rotterdam Schiedam.. The only positive thing could be the kindness of the employees.. The room we got for 4 Persons (2 adults, 2 children) was so small there was no place to open the luggage! Everything looks fine on photos, but the reality is small smaller smallest, old older oldest (furniture) and for the pool I have unfortunately to say that -besides it is very very tiny for the amount of guests and children- that I got a rash (very first time in my life) after "swimming" for half an hour..hygiene? The price is absolutely not worth it..and to pay 10€ per day for parking is beyond any logic..

Good central location, nice hotel, friendly staff and good facilities - enjoyed our stay 🙂. Just be careful if camper van as parking restricted height. Outdoor pool needs some maintenance on steps. Loved it though - thank you.

Die Unterkunft ist alt, die Schiebetür im Eingang öffnet nicht richtig und bleibt auf halber Strecke stehen. Im Fahrstuhl ist die Anzeigetafel defekt und in die Vorrichtung gefallen. Die Zimmer sind alt, das Bad mit Schimmel an der Wand. Das Servicepersonal überfordert und nicht serviceorientiert - zeitweise waren keinen Frühstücksuntensilien verfügbar. Am Empfang hat man sich die Missstände angehört, passiert ist aber nichts. Das ist nur eine Kurzfassung meiner Eindrücke.

Nothing much to say it was as expected a chain hotel pretty much in good condition but not stunning. One word of warning be careful with the showers the one in my room had a habit of either going to freezing or scalding when you adjusted the temperature and then settling down again.

Péssimo, se comparar ao padrão Novotel. Não tivemos limpeza adequada no quarto nem troca de lençóis. Houve limpeza somente em 1 dia dos 4 de hospedagem. É necessário agendamento de limpeza, sendo que, mesmo agendando, não fomos atendidos, pois a recepção não se importou de anotar devidamente nossos pedidos. O quarto é pequeno e a cama desconfortável. O café da manhã foi o que salvou a estada: é excelente.

Booked 3 nights. At check in we were asked to tick a box £25 for room bar. We declined but the mini bar fridge was empty in the room! We were not told at check in that the don’t clean the room every day we have to request it at reception- so our bins were not cleaned, beds not changed nor towels. The bedside light was broken. The extractor fan did not work properly in the bathroom. When we mentioned it they were not bothered. Service at the bar was slow - even though we were the only ones there. Beds were not comfortable and I kept sliding off the edge.

This was the easiest worst hotel room experience at Novotel. The bathtub drainage didn’t work plus the shower head broke into 2 while bathing and hurting my feet. The furnishing of the room was also old (not to be confused with vintage). I am not sure what Novotel is up to but this hotel was definitely not at par with other Novotels I have stayed in the past in different cities. Hope the management takes note. I am most likely not going to book anther stay with Novotel

The building and deco was good The food and kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful especially the gentleman from Sri Lanka, the slim white gentleman and the lady with dark hair The dark lady at reception wasn’t helpful and her responses were abrupt however all the other reception people were helpful especially the gentleman who was working over the weekend and the lady who was there this morning

Chambre assez sale et service à revoir. Chambre pas nettoyée, lit a peine fait, ne surtout pas soulever le tapis ! 2 serviettes même si vous êtes 3. Sinon très calme. Excellent petit déjeuner, très complet. Piscine non chauffée. Rien dans les alentours pour dîner.

The stay was comfortable but i would say no better than a travel lodge in the UK. I am extremely dissapointed about the hidden charges bill that I was thrown at when I went to check in I feel I should have been informed that even though I had selected the breakfast option while booking I was not paying for it at that time and will have to pay at check in. this is a flaw in hotels.com to trap customers with cheaper upfront payment.

Gute Anbindung mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Parkplätze sind nicht im Service inklusive, minus Punkt hierfür die fehlende Service. Frühstücks buffet, viel auswahl, aber viel zu teuer.

We book the hotel for a night only on our road trip. Booked 5 rooms for our group. Rooms were good size, clean, beds comfortable. In some of the rooms we found few insects but nothing to worry about or to hurt us. We were with 8 kids so dinner at the restaurant weren't an option as menu choices weren't suitable for them. The older kids enjoyed to play xbox at the lobby and the little ones spend a good time in the tiny kids indooor area. Outside area with the pool looks nice and spacious but due to weather and late hours we couldn't have use of it. Drinks at the bar a bit expensive. Breakfast was excellent! A lot of choices from continental and English breakfast, fresh juices, smoothies, yoggurts, fruits, lovely coffee, cereals, ect. I suggest to book rooms with breakfast as if you want to add it ad the hotel cost €25pp and we only paid around £10pp when booked with the room. Parking was good size and plenty of spaces at the day we visited.

Frühstück war nicht gebucht und wir wollten erst da kaufen. Aber 24€ pro Person, egal ob das Kind oder Erwachsener ist, das ist viel zu teuer finde ich. Die Sauberkeit hätte auch besser sein können. Aber das Badezimmer ist sauber. Es gab keine Klobürste. Personal ist freundlich. Für ein paar Übernachtungen ist in Ordnung.
