Westin Josun is in a region that is convenient to everything. This is our 2nd stay and hopefully won't be the last. We walked to many of the attractions we wanted to see. The hotel staff is warm, friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed Aria and Ninth Gate as well as the spectacular bar area, which is a great area for meeting friends. The hotel, room, gym, pool, sauna, and steam room were all spotless and gleaming. Beds- oh so comfortable! I miss it already.

Excellent hotel, with modern style and flair. Room was very well appointed, very clean, quiet and comfortable, with all the modern conveniences and super fast internet. Staff are amazing…from check in through the entire stay, courteous and always there to help. Special mention to the Westin Club staff who were just wonderful. Gym ( with pool and sauna) is very good. Very good range of restaurants, specialities…the Italian restaurant was fantastic, as was the lobby bar and cafe/bakery (delicious!). Highly recommended!

One of the very first hotels in Korea which predates even the Korean War, I first visited here as a kid in the late 70s when it was one of the top deluxe class hotels in Korea and came back for the first time since. The current version is an elite, state of the art, premium property with the highest level of service, even for Korean standards which are pretty high. The gym is top notch rivaling most regular gyms, the food is top quality and the rooms are spacious and high tech. But what separates this property is the service personnel from the front desk, gym staff, housekeeping, bell desk, but most of all the staff at the 20th floor lounge led by Ping. Everyone was very attentive and so pleasant and after a long 15 hour flight, the food and drinks at the lounge without having to venture far before going to bed was just what was needed. Highly recommend this place - coming from someone who has had a very busy summer of travel to multiple countries.

Beautiful hotel and spacious room. Great central location, super walkable, many easy public transportation options that can take you anywhere in the city. The fitness center was the best and most comprehensive hotel gym I’ve been to. Staff is very hospitable. Great breakfast buffet.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It is close to several tourist locations, restaurants and shopping areas. The access is pretty easy from the airport (the bus stops right at the door) or by train (Seoul station is just 15 min by taxi), something really helpful if you come with family. We chose it for the indoor pool, which has a couple of jacuzzi next to it. It was a perfect choice to relax after walking around. It has several restaurants, but you can also eat nearby at the shopping malls or at the night shopping street. We tried the breakfast at the Aria restaurant and it had a great buffet with lots of options. The pastries were especially delicious. The staff was very nice at every moment and they were fluent in English, and some of them in Japanese. They tried to help us in every way possible. Something to improve would be in-room cleaning. We had a twin-room and moved a bed so we could make a big bed to have three sleeping, and under the bed was quite dirty. It was not cleaned during our three-night stay. Also, it was a bit dissapointing that there were few ammenities in the bathroom.

Location and amenities at the property are excellent. We had a suite and it was very roomy. Bed was a little soft but that is a personal preference and after the first night we didn't notice. Bathroom is older than some newer hotels. Overall a great stay; loved the staff and the location.

True luxury and premium hotel. Location is in central Seoul, right by City Hall and City Hall Station. Property is stylish, with a large entrance and lobby area, and the Bar and Lounge. Staff are, to a person, excellent; friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room I booked, on the 19th floor was an executive king, came with Westin Club lounge access. Room is very well designed, a comfortable size with all the modern amenities, including super fast internet access and a 65” TV. The bed is very comfortable, as expected from Westin. I ate in the club lounge, which offers daily Western and Asian options for breakfast and light dinner. I also ate at the Bar and Lounge and their Italian restaurant Rubrica, which was excellent both in food and service. Highly recommended hotel.

Very nice hotel in a good location in Myeongdon Seoul. Good connection with subway entrances around the hotel. The hotel is typical Westin Quality (very good!) and the Westin beds are very nice, with high quality Westin mattresses (that are very nice for people with back issues like me). The staff is super friendly and helpful. Was my 2nd time in a Westin Hotel (1st was the Bund in Shanghai) and I would definitely choose a Westin Hotel again.

The hotel is in a great location, it’s close to major attractions and train stations. The staff were unbelievably nice and were so eager to help me. The hotel have plenty of staff. My room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. I stayed in the executive room so I had access to the club lounge. The breakfast and dinner reception at the club lounge was phenomenal!!! There were varieties of food, the food were very delicious and there were varieties of adult drinks at the dinner reception. The hotel worth every penny. And I will definitely stay there again. Thanks

After staying at signiel and the shilla, two exeptional hotels, naturally i had equally high expectations when booking westin josun. Unfortunately, westin josun failed to meet expectations by a significant margin. Valet service: upon arrival, two members of staff were behind the outside desk and clearly saw us pull up. However no attempt was made to greet or help us remove our bags from the car. This simply doesnt happen at other 5 star hotels in seoul, or anywhere else for that matter! Room: City view!? The only view you will get from your room is a rather uninspiring and hideous grey roof of another building. On the other side, the view may be a little better, but to market this as a city view is misleading at best! Granted, the hotel is sought after for its location and not the view, but the view we had was particularly bad. Cleanliness: 5/10. Room furniture was scuffed and out dated, inside of cupboards not cleaned properly and black scuff mark on the bed sheets. Brekfast: In all the hotels i have travelled in, the brekfast policy at this hotel must be the strangest. Be very careful when booking through a third party website (like most do these days) as "brekfast included" does not mean brekfast in the restaurant, but only room service brekfast which is absurd! Whoever came up with this idea needs a major rethink. Read the brekfast terms carefully on your booking! Overall, extremely dissapointed. For $400 per night, i expect much more. Certainly wouldnt stay again!

Although very close to Myeongdong, there isn't a direct walkable access and you will need to cross the road via the subway. Make sure to use the limosine airport transfer as it was very difficult to drag your luggage from the subway to the hotel.

30th August – 2nd September 2023 Seoul, Korea Westin Josun Hotel Seoul Some random thoughts / comments regarding our stay as they spring up: - The 3rd or maybe the 4th time staying in this hotel, so we know they at least keep up to a certain standard, esp. with this brand that caters to international guests - Convenient location that is easily accessible to Myeongdong via the underpass - Overall easy to communicate with hotel staff in English - Friendly, pleasant and efficient staff - Check in was swift and fuss free - Room is clean but looks a bit dated, therefore not a bad idea for some refurbishment - Free Wi-Fi - Lights in room are dim, could do with higher voltage or add more lights - Complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee - All the toiletries needed are provided - Iron and ironing board slippers and laundry bag all provided - Our room category has free access to “Executive Lounge “on 20/F (we were on 17/ F) - Executive Lounge provides complimentary buffet breakfast, simple buffet serving simple food of limited variety and assorted drinks wines served from 7am to 10pm, but after 7 or 8pm there were only drinks and no more food, not even fruit or snacks - All the four / five Executive Lounge lady staff at the reception desk were conversant in English; courteous, jovial, welcoming and very pleasant, always smiling and efficient - Evening turndown service provided - Shower in room needs an upgrade because the water pressure is weak

Everything was great since checking in. Services were good, location was impeccable with just a 5 mins walk to Lotte duty free, myeongdong shopping street and about 10 mins walk to shinshege and namdaemun market. Club lounge offers thoughful to-go box for family with children, since children are not permitted to join cocktail session. Hot meals, salads, soft drinks and a bottle of wine are included in to-go box. Jenny Jung from the club lounge is very professional and friendly. Our stay was a pleasant one.

Overall experience good. Bathroom layout and design not the greatest eg No walk-in shower. Bathtub door opens towards the toilet. Toilet flush mechanism is placed low and little awkward to access. Executive club hours could be lengthened an hour; breakfast selection is good, but not so good for evening. Also, evening hour could do with some sweet/dessert offerings.

A very upscale but still understated hotel consistent with the Westin brand. Excellent if you can get a good room rate. The service is stellar and the athletic facilities extensive. However the onsite restaurants are very expensive, even for a nice hotel. The breakfast buffet is very good but it better be since it’s 70000 won if not included in your booking!
