We had a 8 day stay at the hotel. Awesome location. Convenience stores are located right nextdoor. The hotel seemed to be a little on the older side but the rooms and kitchen were clean. You are able to adjust the themostat to set the room's temperature to your liking. The kitchen was large. We used the combined washer/dryer frequently. Shampoo, body wash, and soap are provided. Front desk are responsive to requests for additional supplies. The gym facilty was large and had plenty of equipment for running, lifting, and stretching. We did not use the swimming pool. The sauna was still closely indefinitely. The only quirk thing was that when you use the elevator, you have to hold the room keycard against a sensor to choose the upper floors - the computer sensor is laggy - you have the hold the card a while until you hear a beep - then you can select the floor - this took some getting used to.

We had a wonderful spacious two bedroom apartment with full kitchen and living room. The apartment was big with washing machine but note that you will need to bring your own spices and seasonings. The pool area was huge with pool, hot tub, and two saunas. The gym was also big and had lots of machines and weights. The location was excellent as there are plenty of alleyways to walk for shops and restaurants not to mention we are near major tourist sites such as many palaces.

As a young family with two toddlers and an infant, we found the accommodation to be very suitable, offering ample space. The room provided more storage than we've experienced in any other hotel—plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space, enough to accommodate long-term stays comfortably. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped, and the inclusion of a washer/dryer combo was convenient (though, as expected with condenser dryers, the drying process was quite slow and limited). We loved staying in the Insadong area, which was both vibrant and convenient for getting around and visiting local attractions. The only real downside—and quite a significant one—was the cleanliness, which fell below our expectations. The bedsheets were not changed automatically during our five-night stay, and the sheets and pillows had a yellowish tint. Additionally, the bathrobes were stained, and there was a noticeable amount of dust and other cleanliness issues that exceeded what we consider average.

We stayed here for a week during a family vacation. We had the three bedroom apartment. It was spacious for our family of 4. The overall condition of the apartment felt dated and sparse. The carpets and furniture had stains, towels were minimal and threadbare, some bedding had stains. The third bedroom is more like a closet - no window and no other furniture except the bed. Cleanliness felt minimal especially when we found a giant cockroach in the bathroom. Yikes. Some positives: the washer was helpful, as was having two bathrooms. The location was convenient - subway stations and bus stops are at least a 5-10 min walk away. Overall, it was very reasonable for the location and space. But some of the cleanliness and maintenance issues give me pause. I would likely not stay there again.

Everything was great. Location by lots of shops and restaurants. Taxis are available and quick or mass transit is near. Many attractions are within walking distance. Hotel is clean and spacious. Great for families. We had a kitchen that was furnished and clean. Desk staff was very nice and they had english speakers for foriegn tourists like us. All great!

Das Hotel ist fußläufig in 5 min von 3 Metrostationen erreichbar. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist sehr ruhig. Die Partymeile Myeongdong ist zu Fuß in 15 min. erreichbar. Die Bauarbeiten auf dem Nachbargrundstück stören nicht wirklich. Die Zimmer sind eher dunkler als auf den Fotos. Die Möbel sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wirken eher rustikal, sind allerdings voll funktionsfähig . Die Betten sind bequem und die Matratze war neu. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und steht bei Wünschen stets zur Verfügung. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

The hotel room was really nice and well accommodated. The location was great as it’s right next to the busy Insadong street and it’s just a 20 min walk to Gyeongbukgung, Changdukgung, Myeongdong, and Bukchon. The room felt like a real living space rather than a hotel room. My wife and I really appreciated having a washer/dryer unit inside our room (it was not the best washer dryer but it got the job done regardless) and the service staff were really great. Whenever we needed anything, they immediately came to our room and whenever we ordered packages, they put it into our room right as it arrived. The bathroom was especially really nice as it had a separate bathtub and shower. One last thing I would like to mention is that there is so much closet space. I have never seen so much closet space in a hotel room before. The only reason we’re not giving 5 stars is because the bed and the pillows. The bed was really firm. We like firm beds but this bed so firm that I woke up with sore shoulders almost everyday. The pillows were not great as they provided no support. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others as long as you request a softer bed if that’s available. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Great location. They upgraded our room to a one bedroom suite. Very nice room. However, we were on the third floor and every noise outside could be heard. Next problem was the heat wasn’t working, and had several nights where the room temperature was 18C. Quite chilly, especially when the temperature outside at night was dropping to 4C. Was told by the front desk to turn the fan off. Pretty disappointing.

I got a room on the third floor facing a commercial building. There is constant noise from around 4 a.m., so I could not have a decent sleep. The air condition is not working and opening a window is not an option because of the noise. Staff were polite but no very professional or helpful. Wifi is a little slow.

It was spacious and comfortable. Having a large kitchen and refrigerator helped us enjoy dining in as well. Washing machine/dryer was very helpful. Didn't have to bring as much clothes. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Speaking in English as well as Korean was appreciated. We will definitely stay again at Orakai. First time trying the brand and it totally exceeded our expectations.

We got a four bedroom, but one of the bedroom is more of a walk in closet with a small bed. It didn’t have a window. The rest of the three bedrooms were good size and had city views. The living room, dining area, kitchen and bathrooms were good too & decent size. The cleaning lady kept our whole unit clean and supplied with towels and amenities. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance Myeongdong, the palaces, Hanok and the observatory. There are very good coffee, bakeries and breakfast places in the area. Also a lot of food options in the area.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom unit with kitchen and washer/dryer. Very spacious layout with great views of the city/neighborhood. Housekeeping service was excellent. Great location and the rooms were very large and accommodating. We were lucky to get upgraded to a suite. The washing machine is a 2 in 1 so we were able to wash and dry our clothes which was an added plus. So close to everything and the staff were all very friendly. The only issue is that the hotel will not assist in calling a taxi so you will need to have an app like KakaoT or Uber.

As first time travellers to Korea and English speaking, this establishment was prefessional and easy to communicate with. The room was clean, excellent, spacious with much storage (we had the one bed apartment). The service was amazing and fast! The staff is helpful and very kind. If ever going back to Korea, I will stay in this hotel again. The area had many markets, food, coffee, anything you needed very close by. I loved the Insadong neighborhood! Thank you for a wonderful hotel experience.

La cucina è equipaggiata e può essere utilizzata. La zona è silenziosa e tranquilla. Si può fare colazione nell'appartamento usando la cucina e acquistando qualcosa nei piccoli supermercati aperti 24ore vicinissimi all'hotel oppure si può andare nella caffetteria della catena Bean & Leaf proprio al piano terra dell'hotel. C'è anche un ristorante di korean bbq aperto per cena. Il personale della reception parla inglese ed è efficiente nelle procedure di check-in illustrando i servizi dell'hotel. Il wifi gratuito offre una buona connessione, adatta anche allo smart working. Sicuramente un'ottima soluzione per stare in un buon quartiere di Seoul, comodo alla zona del palazzo imperiale, raggiungibile anche a piedi, e alla zona di Myeongdong, adatta per uscire alla sera.

We got the non-smoking room with smells of cigarettes which also was not the same as on the pictures. I did an upgrade and it was fine, but there was no heating and A/C during our stay due to some renovation. Hotel did not offer anything as a compensation for that situation. Breakfast is very bad with a very few options, every day the same.

The room was perfect for our big family of 6. Which included 3 teenagers. We loved it all. Only thing I wish we had was a bigger trash can in the room. Also, the breakfast was not great. We only tried it one time and was very disappointed. Other than that we loved it and can’t wait to return.

This place was good for our family to stay and have enough space to spread out. The fully equipped kitchen and dining table was very convenient for eating takeout. The condition of the actual unit seemed a little worn, and I didn’t love that I could see stains in the carpet. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable. Not much of a breakfast offering, very simple, and not worth paying for if your booking doesn’t include breakfast. Also not much of a concierge service. It’s a decent, affordable, and convenient place to stay.
