We spent a week at this hotel with 2 teenage daughters. It is a very beautiful and elegant building and the hotel was an important part of our Seville experience. Set around a lovely courtyard, with a restaurant, terrace bar\restaurant and cocktail bar, with severwl live music events over the week (jazz, piano etc). The saltwater outdoor swimming pool is lovely. Breakfast is great, a good range of cooked foods, fresh fruit, granola, nuts etc, fish, cold meats and salads. Also fresh bread, pastries and cakes. Shutters and decent glazing mean that even street facing rooms are quiet and dark and the beds are comfortable. Concierge were helpful for local information and all the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Such a central position, that you are in walking distance of many of the main sites. A lovely and memorable stay.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and is in a wonderful location. The pool and gym were very nice and the breakfast buffet was also amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would not stay anywhere else in Seville.

Flot, historisk hotel med fremragende og meget service mindet personale. Vi savnede dog med nordeuropæisk perspektiv for et 5 stjernet hotel rigtige wellness faciliteter på hotellet samt opvarmet pool. Værelser kunne med fordel være med mere komfortable møbler. Maden at vælge ved 15 tiden var begrænset og kvaliteten virkelig lav. Faktisk helt uden smag. Ringere end MacDonald’s. Derfor spiste vi ikke aftensmad der. Morgenmaden var rigtig fin. Flot beliggenhed. Vi manglede besked om at vi måtte køre til hotellet ind af vej med adgang for biler forbudt. Vi kunne ikke læse spansk tekster på vejskilte. Det kunne hotellet måske havde forudset ikke alle turister kan ? Vi spilte derfor en trættende time med at finde vej, indtil vi blæste på vejdkiltene. Og blev stoppet af politiet 😁

Very beautiful hotel and great service! Gorgeous swimming pool for a hotel located in the middle of the town ( beware that it is not heated though). Great food and a special thank you to Andrea who helped us to book the restaurants 😀

Could not fault this hotel. Absolutely wonderful. The only reason not 5 star for cleanliness was the American Bar was not clean when we visited it. Dirty plates and glasses left on the bar which was a shame because the rest of the hotel was faultless

Overall a great hotel. Staff were excellent, the hotel building is so striking and impressive, and the bed very comfortable. Wrap around terrace was also great. Breakfast ok. Cleanliness (marked towels & a few dirty corners) and general maintenance (rooms need some love) were the only things to slightly let it down.

It is a very special building and location. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was outstanding in terms of its offer of choice. However the mattress felt old and soft and squeaked loudly. Not what you expect in an premium hotel. When we arrived at 4pm the room wasn't ready so we were kindly offered a drink and the charming man at reception said he would bring the key to us when it was ready. He forgot and 50mins later we had to follow it up. He had forgotten our names and that he promised to bring the key. I felt this was poor and for all his charm it seemed insincere. We had travelled from Madrid where we stayed in a less expensive hotel and the service and quality of the room was far superior.

기대했던 호텔인데 너무 별로였음. 뷰가 있는 객실로 업그레이드 해준건 고맙지만 바닥에 휴지랑 얼룩들, 욕실에 찌든때까지 청소 상태 엉망이었고 직원 대응도 5성급이 맞는지 의심스러움 수영장은 비치체어들이 부족해서 갈때마다 눈치 게임이었음. 체크인 할때는 짐을 들어주더니 체크아웃할때는 러기지 들고 계단을 오르내리는데 아무도 응대안함. 전체적으로 가격대비 너무 실망

It was like a horror movie. We paid 2.500 euro for 1 night and we received a room in 18 degrees, and smelling sewage. They said it will be heated in 10 min, there was no change after an hour and we called technical service. Someone came, check the air conditioning again and one of the rooms was a bit heated. We went out for a dinner and got back to the room around 23hrs. The smell in our bedroom was worst, we opened the windows, kids were asleep so we had to stay in the room last night. I woke up around 03:30 in the morning with a horrible smell, I was about to vomit. We moved to the kids room, the room was freezing... So, we tried to sleep 4 people, in 2 single beds in a freezing room. I really pissed off and went down to the reception, they apologised etc. A cleaner and technician came, they sprayed some air freshener and gave us an electrical heater. You can imagine out frustration. We met with the front desk manager after the breakfast, he said they will do the best to compensate for previous night and make sure that we will have the rest of our stay perfect. We will see....

The Alfonso XIII is a beautiful historical property located in the heart of everything! Very classy decor and extremely comfortable bedding and pillows. I slept like a baby! The food and service were excellent as was the attention by the staff.

Wi-fi was bad, both the free wi-fi and the premium (paid) wi-fi. The refrigerator in room 209 did not work at all. These problems are unacceptable in 5 star hotel like the Alfonso III.

Although it is a beautiful hotel & the service was excellent I think the management need to improve in some areas. only one sink tap worked, both sink plugs did not work, the safe did not work etc. while these are fairly minor, at the price we paid per night you would expect better.

Check-in was very pleasant and the front desk informed us the street in front of the hotel would be blocked from taxi access the morning of our departure, October 19, due to an organized race. I was informed that the conceirge would be able to assist us with taxi service upon our departure. On the morning of the 19th. I called the front desk to have a porter take our bags. I then went to concierge desk to get some assistance regarding taxi service. The concierge said the roads are blocked and we would have to walk some distance to get a taxi. He could identify the location for the nearest taxi stand. We then got our bags from the porter who also could not identify where would could get a taxi. This was our first time in Seville and neither my wife nor I speak very much Spanish. Ultimately we carried our bags for about 15 minutes and located a taxi stand. The staff should have been better prepared for this situation and at the very least provide a map with a time estimated for walking to the nearest available taxi stand. The lack of preparation and professionalism shown by the staff does not place your hotel in a very favorable light.

Check in and being shown to our room wasn’t to the standard of a 5 star hotel unfortunately. The check in girl dealing with us looked concerned the whole time and went away to check things making us feel there was an issue with the booking. The girl showing us to the room forgot to show us where the pool was. Beautiful hotel in centre of the city, no comfortable day bar if you don’t want to sit at the pool either. The greeting note with chocolates in the room was addressed to someone else. To me the small details were overlooked for a hotel of this calibre. The 5:30pm daily tour of the hotel didn’t happen, even we waited in reception we were ignored.

We had a great stay at the hotel! The staff went above and beyond offering 5 star customer service. The food was incredible for breakfast buffet and dinner in the main restaurant. The pool is clean and offers a great break from the extreme heat. Located in the center of everything you’d want to see! Would definitely return.

Clearly the grand hotel of Seville. Its location is great and it stands out as a landmark of the town. For a very old property it was well maintained. The only real shortcoming was the service. The concierge didn’t respond before our stay about transportation even though they sent an email reaching out. In person the team always seemed to be distracted with something else rather than customers. The pool service was quite spotty. On the plus side, the front desk crew were very good and the staff at breakfast worked very hard. The cleaners were friendly and efficient.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip in which the air-conditioning never worked. A repair man came the first night and said it was working and left a fan for me. The AC never worked and no one acknowledged that. My second day became even more ridiculous when the power in the room went out three times while I was trying to get ready for work and then later to check out. The repairman came three times and seemed rather annoyed with me and the front desk didn’t do anything but say I’m sorry. For the price of these rooms, and the quality expected, I was incredibly disappointed, and I will never stay there again.

We spent a week at this hotel with 2 teenage daughters. It is a very beautiful and elegant building and the hotel was an important part of our Seville experience. Set around a lovely courtyard, with a restaurant, terrace bar\restaurant and cocktail bar, with severwl live music events over the week (jazz, piano etc). The saltwater outdoor swimming pool is lovely. Breakfast is great, a good range of cooked foods, fresh fruit, granola, nuts etc, fish, cold meats and salads. Also fresh bread, pastries and cakes. Shutters and decent glazing mean that even street facing rooms are quiet and dark and the beds are comfortable. Concierge were helpful for local information and all the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Such a central position, that you are in walking distance of many of the main sites. A lovely and memorable stay.

Vi savnede dog med nordeuropæisk perspektiv for et 5 stjernet hotel rigtige wellness faciliteter på hotellet samt opvarmet pool. Værelser kunne med fordel være med mere komfortable møbler. Great location. The bellman and valet staff were excellent and should be rewarded. The restaurants (all of them) had minimal selection and poor value for the money (19 euros for an oxtail soup which should have been 5 euros ). All of the staff were congenial. The location and historical value of the hotel was superb. Need to get rid of the Marriott standard for five star and upgrade to world standard

The interior garden courtyard is stunning and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast there each morning. We also enjoyed looking into the courtyard from the inside of the hotel and loved drinking tea, coffee and having light snacks (and the most delicious hamburger) while watching all the activity in the hotel (2 wedding with the most stylish guests). The pool was gorgeous and we always found a seat. Finally, the outdoor restaurant looks out onto the plaza and was wonderful- the views and food were excellent. Best hotel in Seville. Also, the service was impeccable!

The property was beautiful and very well maintained and the hotel is centrally located which is the biggest plus. The front desk was also extremely helpful and the breakfast was great as well.
