The Hotel Simon is a charming property in the heart of the old city and a 2 minute walk to the cathedral. It’s a 300 year old building with beautiful marble floors and pillars and I felt I had gone back in time. All though old, it was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. The surrounding area is very walkable with lots of shopping, food and bars.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The hotel is very central for everything, 5 min walk to major sights in the city and many many eating options in the immediate areas. The hotel is beautiful, original tiling and although it's old and a little basic it's very clean and comfortable with air conditioning etc in rooms. I'd definitely stay again. No parking next to the hotel, but safe parking is a 10 minute easy walk by foot.

Location is excellent, staff friendly. Rooms basic but comfortable. Only issue was the noise that the lift made.

You cannot beat the location of Hotel Simon! Absolutely charming, built around a courtyard with beautiful tile work and a central fountain. Very friendly and gracious staff at the front desk. Spacious rooms. Bathroom was a bit shabby but did the job. I would definitely recommend Hotel Simon for visitors to Seville.

This property is a gorgeous old Spanish style villa with an inner courtyard. It is in the heart of old Sevilla just steps from the cathedral. If you like history and sleeping where people have slept since the 1700’s with much of the original art and antiques still there, you will love it. The staff was kind and helpful and it was a pleasure to stay there. If you want a TV and a refrigerator you should choose somewhere else. We had a superior room and it was very spacious. Our window faced a quiet street and even with the noise of Holy Week, it was quiet. The tile work alone is worth a visit.

The property is very well located. The breakfast is very basic but good. The server at the cafeteria could be a little more friendly. I did encounter too many mosquitos in my room. Also no TV in the room. Could use a little more cleanliness.

El Hotel Simón (Sevilla, España) es un alojamiento ubicado en un edificio antiguo (200 años), con hermosa decoración con azulejos y muy bien mantenido. A pesar de ser una estrella, está muy bien equipado y presentado. Al ingresar al hotel, se accede a un patio sevillano clásico de gran belleza. Todo el lugar es sumamente agradable. Estuvimos alojadas en una habitación de la planta baja que nos resultó muy cómoda y nada ruidosa a pesar de dar a la calle. El cuarto (sin TV) y el baño eran bien amplios, con instalaciones algo añosas pero en buen estado. El desayuno estuvo muy bien. El personal de recepción fue muy competente, amable y solícito. La ubicación del hotel es excelente para el viajero interesado en conocer el patrimonio histórico-cultural, todo está muy cerca, lo cual permite hacer las recorridas a pie. Se puede decir que el servicio fue muy bueno, salvo la limpieza del cuarto. En la habitación y el baño había suciedad anterior a nuestro ingreso que permaneció sin cambios durante el total de nuestra estadía (sin embargo, los espacios comunes del establecimiento lucían pulcros). En su momento, no lo comunicamos a la gerencia para evitar represalias por parte del personal de limpieza (estábamos fuera durante todo el día y nuestras pertenencias quedaban en la habitación a merced de esa persona). La relación precio/calidad fue aceptable. Volveríamos a este hotel sólo si mejoran sustancialmente el servicio de limpieza.

Hotel has a beautiful lobby. It was nice only thing is that the pillow had a blood stain. Didn’t complain about it but I’m sure they would have taken care of it. Good location with lots of restaurants near by. Overall I enjoy my stay.

Hotel Simon is in a charming old building conveniently located within walking distance of the cathedral and Alcázar, as well as lots of restaurant choices. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and furnished with beautiful old furniture and a comfortable bed. I recommend this property.

The hotel is an old building, neat and the room was clean, no TV available, it is good for a budget trip.

Great position, clean room, good bathroom and shower. No tissues or water provided or tea, making facilities,frig etc. Would advise room with window as some rooms at very top very small and windowless. Some traffic noise but not a problem.

My room was horribly noisy. It was a good location but my room was terribly noisy most of the nite with the street traffic and elevators. I mentioned this to the front desk person and pretty much was told that it was expected when the room was facing the street like I had asked for this specific room. If you're on a budget this is a good hotel/area, if you want some decent rest don't stay here.

Excellent location. Room older with traditional tiles but no window. Air conditioning very noisy, no soap.

The front staff is amazing. They are very helpful and attentive. Would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Sevilla.

The hotel was sited in an excellent position for seeing the sights. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to thank them for their help and patience in the return of some belongings that I accidentally left at the hotel. A great stay.

A wonderful old hotel in the centre of the old town and so a fabulous location. We could walk everywhere. Staff very friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast is served 7:30 to 11:00 and is pretty good for the price, and we were able to arrange an earlier breakfast one morning which we really appreciated. The only thing which would improve the stay would be tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Probably my fault, but I was surprised no TV, micro, or fridge. Staff was very kind, but they knew I double booked by mistake and didn’t mention it until I arrived. Again, my fault, but they have a 3 day cancellation policy and when I tried to shorten the duplicated reservation (dates after 3-days) they would not. That was disappointing, but ultimately my fault. They would have been able to sell the room to someone else…they were completely booked. Also, the original room they gave me was a closet! I went back to the desk and asked for the key to the other room I paid for…beautiful street balcony room. So I kept both rooms. Overall though, it was a great location and I would stay again.

Fabulous central location about 50m from the Cathederal. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. No need to travel into the centre of Seville because you're already there. I will be returning here on my next visit. Hightly recommended.

Second stay at Hotel Simon and it’s always a pleasure. Very convenient location close to major areas, clean and comfortable.

The hotel location can’t be beaten, I had a basic ground floor room, which was lovely. Traditional tile walls, modern bathroom, comfortable beds. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good value and enjoyable. No bar in the hotel, but it’s not needed as there are wonderful bodegas within a few feet of hotel. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

A very good option for a visit Seville. It is very central, but still extremely quiet. It is easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. If we ever come back to Seville, I would definitely stay here.

Em 15 dias de viajem ,passando por 5 hotéis em diferentes localidades o Hotel simon foi a pior opção de todos : quartos antigos ,cheirando mofo,banheiro péssimo,não tem tv ,nem frigobar ,local péssimo se vc estiver de carro próprio ,mas o pior de td é o café da manhã ,em 04 dias só conseguimos tomar café em 2 deles(os outros dias fomos numa padaria bem próxima )pão duro,café requentado no microondas ,presunto cheirando azedo ,nada se “salva”no café da manhã péssimo mesmo ! Infelizmente não recomendo nem por ter uma boa localização !0

Property was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are sparse with no tv or fridge, but it was quiet. The hotel has an old world charm about it and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was satisfying with many options.

Sfeervol hotel. Uitstekend gelegen, 200m van de kathedraal. Ontbijtbuffet en elke dag wordt de kamer gepoetst.

The room was first given was so noisy and I asked to switch, but the lady told me to try one night. We couldn’t sleep at all, the next day the gentleman gave us a very quiet room. Why can’t she just do that? The shower is very small and dangerous to stand in. My husband is hard of walking, I was so afraid of his falling. The breakfast was minimal, no eggs at all. It’s a convenient location in a very beautiful old house. I don’t mind the old, just the shower was dangerously scary. The staff were nice except I wish the First Lady would switch a quiet room upon my request, so we didn’t have to spent a sleepless night after we traveled there.

This hotel is located a few blocks from Sevilla’s cathedral and even though it is a busy area yet we were able to sleep really well. Staff very friendly and complimentary breakfast was just perfect. This building is so gorgeous; they’re still working on renovation but yet able to conserve the Spanish unique architecture. You would love this hotel. No need to take uber, we walked around the entire time.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. It's a beautiful old building stuffed full of antiques and exquisite tiles - it almost feels like a museum. We loved the fact there are no 'mod cons' like a TV - it's like going back in time. Fabulous breakfast, efficient, helpful and friendly staff (the receptionist booked some wonderful flamenco for us), and oh my goodness the location - a couple of minutes from the cathedral and alcazar. Lots of good tapas and bars on the doorstep. I can't praise this place highly enough. Treat yourself to a superior room - ours was vast with the biggest antique wardrobe I've ever seen and had a beautiful leaded window overlooking the street. Our friends were in an equally lovely room on the other side of the building. Thank you for a perfect few days, we will definitely be returning!
