We checked in at 5:30 am and there was staff at the front desk to check us in. The property also has luggage storage available after check out if your flight is at night, which was very convenient. The room was what you would expect from a budget hotel; small but sufficient. A major downside is that the window don’t open so it gets a bit stuffy when you enter the room after a day out, but luckily the aircon helps with the air circulation.

Por lo que uno paga en estándares de Singapur pues es de lo más accesible pero eso no le exenta de crítica. Lo bueno, el cuarto, limpio, buena cama y ducha, es lo esencial ya que uno solo lo usa para dormir y bañarse. El staff amable y presente. Lo malo, mal olor en pasillos y elevador, el área no corresponde a lo que nos venden de Singapur. Barrio chino e Indu, con tiendas y restaurantes cerca.

Room was clean but noisy. You could hear a loud noise whenever someone from upstairs flush the toilet. It's a budget hotel and I get it. However, it lacked many basic items such as a smaller size towel, waste basket in the bathroom and a cup.

We are not very picky individuals, when it comes to hotels, and knew we were picking a budget hotel however, the dirtiness of the room was next level for us. Our room smelled so bad that even my husband (who is very easy going) said we have to get out of there. Stains on the walls that looked like drips of who knows what… very muggy and dirty room. To top it off, Ibis refuses a refund and this is very frustrating as we are losing $407.00 CAD and this was an upsetting thing to find out, considering the dirtiness. We are still hopeful that they will understand what a bad experience, and work with us on refund, but they refuse to respond at all. Sad and disappointed to say the least.

Would not recommend. Extremely small rooms, expected it to be small with it being Singapore but for a family room it was way too small. Asked for additional pillows only to be told they don’t have any spares, had to go and buy some at our own expense. Wifi was shocking as well. The room had no safe causing us to carry our passports everywhere we went It seems that all the rooms piping was connected. Room above us would have a shower or use their toilet and the drains in our bathroom would gurgle as well. Also the beds, I’m 6ft and my legs were dangling off the end of the bed Something that the hotel cannot be responsible for was the other inconsiderate guests. Walking past the room laughing and joking at gone mid night and blasting music out at 3am so I would bear this in mind when considering this hotel. Also please consider it is according to our taxi driver in the red light district,

The area was generally safe, but there were some loiterers who spent time right outside the building during the night. I additionally saw a mouse in the street the hotel was located on. The hotel itself was clean and basic in line with what you would expect from a budget hotel. The beds were short twin sized beds, as such you would be uncomfortable if you are over 180 cm. My only other concern with the room was that the shower head would not point down, it would spray horizontally. As such, we needed to reposition the head every few minutes to be able to wash ourselves. This becomes quite annoying, and I found it to be a gaping design flaw which can easily be fixed to provide a better experience for guests.

Online check-in was not functional despite receiving an email link to use it. We went to the desk to check in upon arrival, with no problems. One key card stopped opening the door to our room a day after our arrival. A replacement card was issued promptly. Room was small but serviceable, though the bathroom door did not have a lock, and was very difficult to keep it closed due to a weak or defective door latch. Staff were friendly, but were slow and odf limited effectiveness in dealing with very noisy and disruptive guests across the hall from our room, despite multiple complaints from different guests. The noise problem persisted for several nights. Location of the hotel, though nominally in Singapore's historic red light district', was not problematic. The walk to the MTR station is simple and well-lit, though heavy bicycle traffic on the shared pathway along Kallang Road made walking a bit of a challenge. Goed en vriendelijke ontvangst, we zijn keurig geholpen. Niets was teveel gevraagd aan de receptie. Iedere dag werden de bedden opgemaakt en schone handdoeken. Winkeltjes en eet gelegenheden nabij. Goede verbinding met metro en bus naar centrum Singapore.

E buon hotel, abbastanza pulito, silenzioso,stuff sono giovani gentili solo at check in mi hanno datto una Camera per i disabili,non lo so perché? malgrado la mia prenotazione era camera superior... però quando ho riclamato... un'altra signorina subito mi ha cambiato la stanza.... tutto sommato buon hotel per quel prezzo.

For one maybe two nights a good place. It's clean, comfortable - 10 min walk to subway station, which is on the same line as the airport.Places to eat closeby. Would not recomend it for kids due to location.

Online check-in was not functional despite receiving an email link to use it. We went to the desk to check in upon arrival, with no problems. One key card stopped opening the door to our room a day after our arrival. A replacement card was issued promptly. Room was small but serviceable, though the bathroom door did not have a lock, and was very difficult to keep it closed due to a weak or defective door latch. Staff were friendly, but were slow and odf limited effectiveness in dealing with very noisy and disruptive guests across the hall from our room, despite multiple complaints from different guests. The noise problem persisted for several nights. Location of the hotel, though nominally in Singapore's historic red light district', was not problematic. The walk to the MTR station is simple and well-lit, though heavy bicycle traffic on the shared pathway along Kallang Road made walking a bit of a challenge. On balance, it was a decent place to stay on a limited budget, and within reasonable distance of public transit.

It's about a ten minute walk to the MRT. Geylang has many excellent Hawker style eateries offering great fresh cooked food which are excellent value. If you're lookin for a comfortable clean base without the frills, this hotel is great value.

Ibis budget are never good, they just aren't. They're cheap and affordable for expensive cities. This one is a fair bit out of the way but it does the job if you can't stay in the center of Singapore.

Hotel básico, estilo Ibis Budget. Algo bom é que no quarto triplo não tem aquele horrível beliche em cima da cama de casal. São três camas. Boa região. O hotel está próximo a estação de metrô Kalang, que com duas paradas a mais chega no centro da cidade e dos principais pontos turísticos. Pessoal solícito e atencioso. O que mais me desagradou é o fato do hotel não oferecer a possibilidade de café da manhã e na região não se encontram boas opções. Mesmo que desejasse tomar o café da manhã no quarto, como não tem frigobar, inviabiliza esta opção. No geral, como hospedagem em Cingapura é muito cara e destoa do Sudeste Asiático, o hotel atendeu o nosso descanso de duas noites.

I had a great stay at ibis budget Emerald Singapore. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
