식구들과 2박 3일 일정으로 켄싱턴 호텔 설악으로 다녀 왔습니다. 설악산에서의 케이블카를 탑승 할 예정이시라면 최고의 숙박 시설이라고 생각합니다. 호텔 입구에서 도보로 5분 거리에 위치하고 있으며 호텔 주변이 조용해서 쉬기에 더욱 좋습니다. 추가로 호텔에서 근무하시는 분들 모두 친절하고 시설도 너무나 깨끗하게 잘 관리, 유지 되고 있습니다. 매점도 셀프로 운영되고 있고 조식도 훌륭합니다. 로비와 복도 층별마다 전시 된 영국 왕실 및 국내외 유명인사들의 소장품들이 어우려져 보는 재미까지 더해 줍니다. 이번 여름에 짧은 일정으로 머물었지만 이번 가을에 다시 한번 숙발 할 예정입니다. 가족 단위, 연인 단위등 모든 여행객들에게 추천을 드립니다. 👍🙏 We stayed at the Kensington Hotel Seorak for two nights and three days with our family. If you are planning to take the cable car at Seoraksan Mountain, I believe this is one of the best places to stay. The hotel is located just a five-minute walk from the cable car entrance, and the quiet surroundings make it an even better place to relax and unwind. In addition, all of the hotel staff were very friendly, and the facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The convenience store is also self-service, and the breakfast was excellent. One of the highlights of the hotel is the impressive collection of memorabilia displayed throughout the lobby, hallways, and on each floor, including items related to the British Royal Family and famous figures from Korea and around the world. It makes simply walking around the hotel an enjoyable experience. Although we only stayed for a short time this summer, we are already planning to come back and stay again this fall season. I highly recommend this hotel to all types of travelers, whether you are traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends.👍😀

I visited this hotel with my wife and our two kids. We used it as our base for a two-day trip to the beaches around the Sokcho area during peak season. The hotel is uniquely decorated with vintage memorabilia, which makes it fun to explore. This type of classic western hotel is hard to find in Korea these days. The breakfast was also excellent, and the view from our table by the window was beautiful. The staff were warm and friendly, unlike the snobbish staffs you sometimes encounter at other expensive “five-star” hotels. We also received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a wonderful addition to our trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great location close to the Seorak National Park.

Location can't be beat for proximity to Seoraksan National Park, (great for earlier morning start (5 min walk to entrance)) but otherwise way past former (if ever) glory. Facility very tired, staff did their job, food options limited. Ended up driving to Socko for everything else, so just need to decide if you want to drive to park in morning, vs drive somewhere for everything else.
