Stayed here several times before. The service and quality remain the same good standard as my last visit 5yrs ago. The indoor and outdoor pools are well maintained, and the guards are professional. The only annoying thing is they now only allow 2 hotel guests per room for free access to the pool, though I did pay for 3 people when making the hotel room booking. Overall, I enjoy staying at this hotel and will stay here again next time when I visit Busan!

Nice building, great location. Was a little frustrated that in order to use the pool you just cover up tattoos with rash guards (I have many visible tattoos). I'm not quibbling with the policy, I just wish that had been made clear in advance of booking. It's not a cheap hotel and I choose the hotel specifically because of the pool. I wasn't in town long enough to go buy rash guards ( but also wanted to lay out in the sun)

We are staying here only today in room 3433 I booked online and upgraded the room to a Premier room ( 100$ cad more than the regular room) because the premier room has the access to the pool . The only reason for our one night trip was to use the pool . When we arrived it was explained to us that the pool was closed today . We went to talk to the lady at the front desk to explained to her that we paid 100$ more just to access the pool and that we would’ve gotten a regular rate room if we would’ve of known the pool was closed . We asked the lady at the desk if there was anything she could do to compensate us , at least refund us the upgrade on the room or offer us breakfast. She didn’t seem very concerned or made any effort to compensate us, she just kept saying go tomorrow morning when we told her multiple times we where leaving in the morning . I also wanna make clear that when I booked months ago I made a point of going on your website and verifying that we didn’t book butduring the pool closure . We don’t usually stay in fancy hotels like this one because it’s a big splurge for us and we are very disappointed in the level of service we are getting here. *** After they saw my review they did offer me a late check out from 11 to 12:00 ( the pool is closed at that time by the way) after we told them multiple time we had to leave in the morning anyway

Lotte Hotel was a safe bet when booking due to facilities around in Saemyeon. The complex though is dated, room was not clean. Power kept shorting in our room only. Drain in shower didn’t drain. Fitness centre was great and also central for day tours from the relevant meeting points. Safe and ok for budget hotel.

Lotte Hotel Busan was an overall let down from the start. Starting with the positives, location is great, views are lovely and rooms are spacious. Otherwise, it was all bad from there. Arriving at 1pm, we were asked to come back at 2pm to check in. Around 1:58, an older lady approached the front desk to check in and was literally shooed away because it wasn't precisely 2pm yet. By 2pm, a large crowd had gathered and we were allowed to begin the process - we have stayed in hotels worldwide and have never seen any handle check-in this way. While checking in, the staff was cold and short. Upon going into our room, we were shocked to find the dirtiest white chair (actually yellowed and looked like it had never been cleaned), scuffed furniture everywhere, dirty spoons and cups, dirty office chair, holes in the curtains and other issues. This was likely the worst 5 star hotel we have ever stayed in and definitely the dirtiest one. We stayed for 5 nights and couldn't wait to leave. I would strongly suggest you explore other options before booking here. Though, confused by all the positive reviews, it might just be bad luck that our room was one of the worse ones and that our interactions with check in were poor. Overall, would never recommend and would likely stay away from the Lotte chain in the future.

Because of the centralized heating system of the hotel, we felt very warm and stuffy inside the room for the first 2 nights. The staff had to lend us an electric fan to use at night. Overall, the concierge team is helpful, specially the girl named Alex. There’s an outdoor pool but who would want to use it during winter time anyway. 😅

Room is old, stuffy with absolutely no airflow. Staff did nothing to help despite me notifying them multiple times at night that i can't breathe nor sleep in such a stuffy, dry room. Unable to sleep, I dragged myself through the next day. Rooms are very dated and motel-like. This is NOT a 5 star calibre establishment. The room is comparable to a best western and that isn't hyperbole.

Wow this is a nice hotel very well located and there is a staff that is so kind, alway with a smile. The hotel is a perfect spot to rest in rooms working A/C not one noise. everything is well preserved, the room is very clean, and the service call is top. I will be staying here again by far. Thanks

Used to stay the hotel 3 years ago. But second visit was terrible especially on the services. The doormen will pretending not seeing you when offload and loading the luggages from and to cars. When checking out, the receptionist don't even bother to have eye contact. The condition of the hotel also quite bad, muddy smell carpet and the lift also need to wait quite sometimes.

Booked a couple of nights with access to executive lounge. Well worth the extra cost. Separate more personal checkin/checkout. During checkin, I discovered that I had dropped my wallet in the cab from the airport. Staff jumped on the task to track down the cab and arranged for the wallet to be returned within an hour. When we checked in, we suddenly realized my son had lost his phone and were flustered in the lobby. At that moment, a staff member-likely a female team leader-kindly approached us. She told us that, since we had a video of us getting out of the taxi upon arrival, she could use it to trace the taxi company and license plate in order to help locate the phone. We were deeply moved by her kindness. In the end, the phone turned out to have been left on top of our own luggage, which we had handed over at check-in-such a careless mistake! Even so, she shared our relief with a big smile, and thanks to her, our family’s trip to Busan became truly unforgettable. We regret not even asking her name, but we are left only with gratitude. Thank you to Lotte Hotel and this wonderful staff member for your outstanding customer service!

Luxury hotel experience. Amazing view of the city. Staff is very attentive and accommodating. Conveniently near a transportation center with buses and subways. Really nice hotel in a great part of Busan. The service team was exceptional. Hotel itself was very well maintained and there were so many things to see and do around. The sauna was awesome- has both steam and dry, and a cold bath. The club floor lounge had a great selection of drinks and food. It was a great stay.
