Lovely hotel, only minor irritations. E.g. lift not working when we arrived back late one evening. The cost was much lower than other options of similar quality, perhaps because of the walk up the hill from the town centre. But Ubers are plentiful and the bus service is reasonable (just avoid the U-Bahn if you don’t want to walk up the hill). Advance guidance that the bus is better than walking from the station would have been nice

On the street parking was free at night but the hotel has a few spots for 10euro a day. Building is older but room was large, very clean. Front desk staff was there until about 1130pm which was a godsend. They needed passport #s for all guests, which was a little strange. Had breakfast available for a fee but we didn’t partake.

Chegamos no limite do check-in por causa de um problema no percurso da viagem e o atendente foi extremamente grosso e mal educado. Jogou a chave e nos mandou entrar pela entrada lateral, dizendo que realizaria o check-in no dia seguinte. As fotos no site não condizem em nada com a aparência real do hotel e do quarto que ficamos. O quarto, apesar de extremamente amplo e limpo era muito escuro e com ar de velho. No banheiro a porta não fechava direito pois enganchava, o box do chuveiro estava quebrado, a pia rachada. Apesar de dizer que tinha estacionamento, não nos orientou ou mostrou onde era e acabamos estacionando na rua, colocando no parquímetro, que saiu mais barato que o valor que estava no site. Um ponto positivo é que atrás do hotel tem um supermercado ótimo.

Parkplatz kostet 15 Eur (wurde vorher nicht bekannt gegeben). Frühstück hätte 16 Eur gekostet. Personal am Check in unfreundlich. Zimmer ok, sauber, aber kalt und ungemütlich. Warum gibt es keinen Waschbecken-Stöpsel?

Quite and posh neighborhood, with paid off street parking facilities. Staff were hospitable, rooms were old fashioned but clean. Walking distance to any food and drink places. WiFi was good, could be better if offered complimentary water. Breakfast was a simple spread but very nice.

Viele Ausstattungsmerkmale des Zimmers waren nicht vorhanden. Kein Blick in den Garten, der versprochene 48Zoll TV hatte ca 20Zoll. Keine Verdunklungsvorhänge, keine schallisolierten Zimmer, kein Safe. 14m2 scheint mir auch nicht gegeben zu sein. Das Bett schmal und kurz mit durchgelegener Matratze. Das Bad ist kleiner nicht möglich. Weder große noch korpulentere Personen werden hier hereinkommen. Bad, sowie alle Einrichtungsgegenstände sind abgewohnt und beschädigt. Einziger Pluspunkt: die Reinigungskraft hat einen guten Job gemacht. Die Bilder haben mit Größe und Ausstattung des Zimmers nichts gemein. Da laut Personal (sehr freundlich) schon häufiger bemängelt wurde, dass die Angaben bei Hotels.com nicht stimmen, handelt es sich in meinen Augen um Betrug. Die ehrlichen Wettbewerber werden durch die falschen Angaben um mögliche Gäste gebracht. Der Zimmerpreis (40€) ist nicht angemessen.

Der Herr an der Rezeption war bei unserer Ankunft ziemlich angepisst und sprach nur in Einwortsätzen. Etwas mehr Freundlichkeit würde das abgelebte Hotel etwas aufwerten. In der Dusche hatte es Schimmelspuren. Auch am andern Tag war die Laune des Herrn nicht besser. Nachdem ich mich über den Rauchgestank im Gang und logischerweise auch in meinem Zimmer beklagt hatte meinte er nur: «Kann man nichts machen». Einzig das Frühstück konnte mir den Aufenthalt noch etwas schönreden.

Don’t believe all the reviews on here, we had a fabulous stay at the hotel. Yes it’s a little dated but our room was exceptionally clean (maid service daily) No air con but fans provided and no issues with WiFi in our room. Staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Location is central for everything, only a 20 min walk to train station and bus stop at the top of the road. Supermarket just next door. Area is lovely and peaceful and only a 29 min walk to the centre of Stuttgart. Would definitely stay again.

We reserved the top floor for our family. While it had a lot of beds for us, seemed most windows were in the process of being worked on, therefore not able to open/utilize. The faucet in the bathroom was super loose and wobbly. There was plenty of space for a mini fridge which would have been helpful as there was no access to any kind of cool beverage. They did provide about 4 floor fans which saved our bacon in the 90* summer days. Overall worth the money, esp when traveling with 5 ppl and big rooms are hard to find in Europe.

Arrived mid summer, attic apartment was 30-35C, place is without air conditioning, really neither pleasant nor safe - we had to leave after a near sleepless night. Did not get a refund for breakfast we paid in site (another 300 Euro down the tubes, which I really thought showed how little they cared). Please also looks nothing like the picture, it was dirty and one room key for a place that sleeps 5? 0/10 recommend.

The property is older but the room was large for myself and my two daughters. Lovely little deck off the room. Very close to the bus stops for route 42 that would take you down over the hill into Stuttgart and very easy to catch the bus to and from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and the area is quiet. There were other restaurants a short walk down the hill if someone didn’t want to take the bus down to the main business/shopping area. We chose to have breakfast included and had plenty of options. Can eat inside or in the small outdoor courtyard. We were only there two nights but we were happy with our stay.

Chegamos no limite do check-in por causa de um problema no percurso da viagem e o atendente foi extremamente grosso e mal educado. Jogou a chave e nos mandou entrar pela entrada lateral, dizendo que realizaria o check-in no dia seguinte. As fotos no site não condizem em nada com a aparência real do hotel e do quarto que ficamos. O quarto, apesar de extremamente amplo e limpo era muito escuro e com ar de velho. No banheiro a porta não fechava direito pois enganchava, o box do chuveiro estava quebrado, a pia rachada. Apesar de dizer que tinha estacionamento, não nos orientou ou mostrou onde era e acabamos estacionando na rua, colocando no parquímetro, que saiu mais barato que o valor que estava no site. Der Herr an der Rezeption war bei unserer Ankunft ziemlich angepisst und sprach nur in Einwortsätzen. Etwas mehr Freundlichkeit würde das abgelebte Hotel etwas aufwerten. The property is older but the room was large for myself and my two daughters. Lovely little deck off the room. Very close to the bus stops for route 42 that would take you down over the hill into Stuttgart and very easy to catch the bus to and from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and the area is quiet. There were other restaurants a short walk down the hill if someone didn’t want to take the bus down to the main business/shopping area. We chose to have breakfast included and had plenty of options. Can eat inside or in the small outdoor courtyard. We were only there two nights but we were happy with our stay.

Lovely hotel, only minor irritations. E.g. lift not working when we arrived back late one evening. The cost was much lower than other options of similar quality, perhaps because of the walk up the hill from the town centre. But Ubers are plentiful and the bus service is reasonable (just avoid the U-Bahn if you don’t want to walk up the hill). Advance guidance that the bus is better than walking from the station would have been nice

Quite and posh neighborhood, with paid off street parking facilities. Staff were hospitable, rooms were old fashioned but clean. Walking distance to any food and drink places. WiFi was good, could be better if offered complimentary water. Breakfast was a simple spread but very nice.

Don’t believe all the reviews on here, we had a fabulous stay at the hotel. Yes it’s a little dated but our room was exceptionally clean (maid service daily) No air con but fans provided and no issues with WiFi in our room. Staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Location is central for everything, only a 20 min walk to train station and bus stop at the top of the road. Supermarket just next door. Area is lovely and peaceful and only a 29 min walk to the centre of Stuttgart. Would definitely stay again.

Die Zimmerfenster waren zum Hof und ab 5.00 Uhr fuhr der LKW in den Hof um um für den angrenzenden Penny Markt die Waren abzuladen da die Fenster nicht schalldicht sind war somit die Nachtruhe vorbei. Nicht gut fand ich das sie für ein Frühstück 15,00 Euro verlangen obwohl bei der Buchung ein Preis 10,50 Euro ausgeschrieben war.

Only one key card for five people which was very inconvenient a couple times during our stay. Also, the shower leaked on the floor even when the shower door was correctly in place. On the positive side, room seemed clean, and bathroom was big and allowed two people to easily get ready simultaneously.
