Buffet breakfast (included) had great variety and was well replenished. 11am standard check out time was appreciated. Comfortable room, also well stocked. Thank you toiletries (sandalwood) Cons: Pool/spa area on level 4 had run out of towels, bar closed quite early for a Saturday night and main lift was a bit slow and crowded (the other lifts down the corridor and around the corner was much quicker).

Booked late after a last minute change of work plans, and found this within budget. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Room on 6th Floor (an upgrade) was great. Spacious, well appointed, comfortable bed and - the standout - very nice effective black blinds. Slept perfectly. Gym was good, but busier than other cdb hotels I use regularly. Pool nice, sauna was out of order. Got a couple of drinks vouchers through hotels.com Silver status and was able to use the m in the Brewery next door. Massive bonus, that. Good atmosphere, better than a regular hotel bar. Great grilled fish too. Will stay again when available.

Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was a good selection but could offer a little more cheeses and cold meats. Close to city centre. Parking though available and convenient it was over priced. I would stay there again for a city stay.

Great staff, were upfront that both the pool and spa were inoperable (the heating). Unfortunately the primary reason i picked here was its close to the train and having a 10 year old the pool is a must. Pool was so cold that he wasn’t keen…… Already booked and paid and this place would be fine if it was working but dealing with a disappointed child and finding extra kid pleasing activities instead was a struggle. Not the staffs fault they were great!

Great location by central railway station. Great breakfast and staff exceptional…no other channels on tv than free to air…lifts very slow as people don’t realise there is another set of lifts 50 metres away. Spa out of action. Would stay again.

The hotel reception was clean and tide with all staff helpfull,. Tha room was a very good size and could have been very comfortable, but the cleaning let the room down badly. The bathroom floor only cleaned in main floor area, around vanity and walls and toilet have not been cleaned for ages. 4つ星ホテルなのに、トイレの便座を拭かないってあるんだ、と知りました。外国のホテルに多い陶器の便座。なんか水滴の跡がいっぱい、もしやと思って持ってきたアルコールティッシュで拭いたら、キレイに汚れ何取れたよ〜。湯沸かし器のフィルターもカビだらけ。どうしてもコーヒーが飲みたかったから、フィルターを外してお湯を沸かしました。そしてコーヒーカップも汚いので、洗ってから使いました。どうやってハウスキーピングしているのか、教えて下さい。

セントラル駅近くで立地は申し分ないです。ただ、部屋の清掃に問題あります。インしてすぐにカーペットに明らかに自分達以外の髪の毛が落ちていました。普段の清掃は、タオル交換だけじゃないかと思うほど、ホコリがテーブル、ベットサイドテーブルに残ってました。滞在中、掃除がしてなかった日があり、フロントに伝えてたところ、ハウスキーピング係はもう帰宅したとの事で別のスタッフが急遽、お掃除に来てくれました。フロントの方の接客、サービスは良かったです。清掃が気になる方には、このホテルはお勧め出来ません。

Our designated room was a bit of a letdown this time. The TV was not working and the room had not been cleaned properly, there was a bobby pin on the floor and some other debris along with the dust on the horizontal surfaces. We were moved to another room with no fuss, so the service was excellent.

Really great stay. Breakfast was delicious. Friendly staff, nice rooms, clean, bed was super comfortable. Only downfall was the elevator takes forever and there isn’t an easy staircase to use with the floor levels unlocked so you have to use elevator. Also our AC was making a weird noise when we first got there and then the next day it wouldn’t turn on which was a bummer but at least we were visiting during winter! We loved the brewery that is connected to the hotel. Good food and drinks! Transportation walkable and easy. Good location. Happy with stay.

A satisfactory stay. The hotel is conveniently located near central station, and is surrounded by a plethora of food options in Surry Hills. Rydges were also kind enough to permit earlier check-in. However, the hotel is a bit rundown, with slow lifts and outdated rooms; with thin walls/windows making it noisy. Unfortunately the pool/sauna area was also consistently occupied with too many people, making it too cramped to enjoy the facilities.

We were worried about the traffic noise but were lucky to get a large room on the 9th floor with a balcony and it was very quiet. Location is great. Close to the Central Station and the tram. We were walkable to Chinatown and the harbor and the Star Casino. Our one complaint is the housekeeping schedule was inconsistent and some days we never did get service but we were credited for this when we checked out. Breakfast was included and it was very good.

This property’s elevator was painfully slow. We booked a double bed room and all they did was unzip the mattress in two and push it less than a foot apart from each other we might as well have booked a one bed. The bathroom did not have a fan and it was an extremely narrow space . The room was all very awkward and loud.

The hotel & room looked relatively new and clean. My room (Executive King Room) was quite spacious & it looked as advertised. Location is good within walking distance from city center or other transportation means. Though, the streets around the hotel are not clean and are a bit uncomfortable at evening time. The king bed is actually 2 twin beds together, so it's uncomfortable in the middfor a aolo person

I had a great 6 night stay at this hotel in a balcony room. A short walk from Central Station and light rail/tram to airport, CBD and harbour. The room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was quiet during my stay. Breakfast was good with a range of hot and cold options. 7/11 and Metro stores close by for snacks. I would stay here again.

Wonderful stay! Incredibly convenient city location, less than 5 mins from Central station with a Woolies and 7-11 on the neighbouring corners. Friendly, helpful and accessible staff. Very spacious, clean and nicely furnished room, I could even connect the chrome cast from my phone to the TV which was great during downtime. Delicious buffet breakfast and even its own little boutique cinema with daily screenings for kids & grown ups! This will definitely be my go-to city hotel from now on!

Conveniently located hotel. Close to Central and in Surry Hills. Disappointed that I didn’t get the welcome drink for two upon arrival, it was only for one. Even more disappointed at checkout, waited in line for 15mins, had two people who arrived after me served before me. I had a flight to catch so had to leave. Contacted the hotel for my invoice a few days later and they failed to send me the invoice. The service is normally better than this, as I’ve stayed here many times.

Perfect location. Just 3 minutes from Central station and you can go anywhere in Sydney. Facility is clean and comfortable. Kind hotel staffs. Adjoing restaurant & beer bar is also excellent with its craft beer and Australian local wines. The only thing I need to mention is that we have to hear the noise from the busy roads around the hotel early in the morning. Except for that, perfect place for every tourist in Sydney.

Great location - only had to take the T8 line from the airport to Central Station. Everywhere else was walkable (Hyde Park, Australian Museum, Chinatown). Hotel also had good breakfast and very hospitable staff that allowed us to store our luggages while we waited for our flight.

Rydges Sydney Central is about a 5min walk from Central Station and trams, making it very easy to get around. About a 10min walk to Capitol Theatre and great food options. Rooms are comfortable, buffet breakfast was really good with lots of options. Will stay again

The hotel was centraly located a quick taxi or uber ride from anywhere including the Opera House. Breakfast was great although it was exactly the same evey day. The Sydney Brewing Company has a tap room next door that was very convenient.

The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and all the staff were friendly and polite—especially the Filipina staff member (I believe her name was Donna). However, during dinner service, we chose to dine at the hotel instead of going out, but after waiting several minutes, no one came to assist us. It appeared that only two staff members were managing the entire dinner service.
