Pros: Great value for money. Booked during a sale on Wotif with 20% off, plus additional cashback. Onsite parking is only $25 per day which is the cheapest rate I could find. Excellent location — within a 10-minute walk to the Australian Museum, St Mary’s Cathedral, the Botanical Garden, and Westfield Shopping Centre. Food options nearby are excellent, especially Toki Italian inspired and Red Lantern Restaurant. It’s very convenient to grab a breakfast and shopping in Metro just next door. The room was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. It is a king size bed made from two singles joined together, comfortably sleeping three people — ideal for parents traveling with one child. Cons: The room overall felt a bit dated. One of two standard rooms I booked was dark when I turned on all the lights. The shower is in a bathtub, which wasn’t very comfortable and could be inconvenient or unsafe for elderly guests.

Very nice hotel in a prime location. Room was very nice, clean, and no issues. The view of Sydney Harbour was wonderful. Only thing to point out is they do not typically clean the room every day, rather it is every three days. Not a problem for us but they will offer cleaning if you request it. The lobby is nice and very spacious. Bus transport is available within a block and the metro system is about a ten minute walk away. LOTS of restaurants are located close by. Highly recommended!

The designated parking bays were not clear, but it was good to have parking right underneath the building and at a really good rate. Rare these days, and for that reason alone I would stay again. I loved the city view and the bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure great! I will definitely be visiting the Boulevard again and will make it my 'go to' when staying in the city. Such a great find!!

This hotel has the potential to be really nice, however it is showing its age in certain places. We were really disappointed to find the restaurant advertised to be open until10pm was closed permanently. The room, while showing its age, was clean and comfortable. Having a complimentary late check out was greatly appreciated also. The view of the city was really nice too.

Excellent hotel & excellent location with lots of cafes & restaurants in the neighbourhood. Walkable to city centre or wherever you want to go. Nice surprise was a great gym at the top of the hotel. Highly recommended!

Average hotel, good location. The shower was dirty and the water backed up while you showered. Also the door set up caused water to go on the bathroom floor and there was no vent fan for the steam. It was fine for what we needed as we didnt spend much time in the hotel.

overall good….the booking said daily housekeeping but it turned out not to be correct. The housekeeping staff were VERY nice and helpful , but one expects beds to be made up daily, bins emptied and clean towels daily without having to ask everday downstairs.

Hotel didn’t know we wanted a rollaway bed despite us stating we had a 9yo child. They managed to find one but wanted to charge for it, which we refused. The hotel is tired and run down. The room was not cleaned very well and was dusty and the surfaces were never wiped. All in all very disappointing and not what we’d expect from an Accor hotel.

Das Hotel entspricht nicht dem europäischen Standard von 4 Sternen! Positiv: Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Hafenblick erhalten, obwohl es nicht gebucht wurde. Das Zimmer ist schön groß und ruhig. Negativ:Die Zimmer werden nur alle 3 Nächte gereinigt! Hätte es in der Beschreibung gestanden, hätte ich es nicht gebucht. Eine absolute Frechheit! Keine neuen Handtücher, außer man fragt täglich danach. Das Bad wird nicht geputzt und die Betten nicht gemacht. Wenn ich das gewollt hätte, hätte ich mir ein Apartment gebucht. Auf dem Nachttisch sammelten sich die Staubflocken. Die Duschwanne wurde in 10 Nächten nicht einmal gewischt. Es gibt niemanden, der sich um das Gepäck kümmert. Man kann das Gepäck bei der Rezeption lassen, da steht es aber für jeden zugänglich. Unser Zimmer war nicht im 15:00 Uhr fertig. Das Personal an der Rezeption war höflich, aber nicht freundlich. Wer durch die Eingangshalle läuft, wer nicht begrüßt. Das angepriesene Café hatte nicht einmal geöffnet. Nie wieder!

Room & inclusions excellent. Good A/C. Spacious & comfortable. As is often case in bigger hotel chains, TV service very poor. Only half free to air channels available and each time defaults to hotel info page. Smart TV would have been nice.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. Staff and service was excellent, and very close and walking distance to major iconic sights. Had an amazing room overlooking the Harbour and Opera House. However, furniture was a little dated and could do with modernising. Furthermore, it would be useful to have USB ports in all rooms for that added convenience. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommended to other visitors.

Good location .Nice view from room Nice big suite ,very roomy ,Good comfortable bed And two Lounge chairs . But dated decor . no USB points .Except USB C in base of clock radio. no Smart TV Shower over bath ,Not ideal . Could not run bath via tap had to run through shower head toiletries supplied, still in tubes ,EG shampoo .conditioner etc .Not that "ECO " friendly.

We had a really good stay. Our room was on the 20th floor with harbour views. Some of the furniture is a bit tired but the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very expensive ,not included in our rate) so we didn’t eat at the hotel but there are lots of options just outside.

My stay at The Sydney Boulevard Hotel was okay. It started off badly, but DJ, the reception manager, personally apologised for the hiccups. The unwelcoming vibe of the hotel initially put me off, but DJ reassured me that my next stay will be taken care of and that I will experience better service. Aside from this issue, the room was okay. The bed was comfy. The Harbour view from level 9 was decent — you can see the bridge and the tip of the Opera House. The location is convenient, as it’s really close to work. Overall, it was an okay stay. Let’s see what happens on my next visit and whether they follow through on their promises.

Hotel location is good - and that's all there is!!!!! We arrived at the hotel after 11AM. So I asked for an early check in which I pre-requested a long time ago when I booked the hotel many weeks ago. When at the front desk, we were told we needed to pay an additional fee of AUD50 because of my request for an early check-in!!!! But why would they require an additional fee???? I would understand if I only made the request at that very moment. BUT the request was already done even before I got to the hotel and there was NO notice then that an additional fee would be required for an early check in. Unfortunately, I had an injured left foot, so I had no choice but to pay the fee. But this should not be the case....I even told the staff on the front desk (Rusell) that this was my FIRST ever, in all of my travels everywhere, where I was asked to pay for an additional fee to REQUEST for early check-in. The rooms were available, I just DO NOT understand why this EXTRA fee. Russell checked us in, but it was the lady Ms. Ambika - who was insistent that we pay the AUD50 fee, and then when I requested for a late check out, she even warned us another charge for AUD 30 will be required if I will go beyond 12:30, but I explained to her very well the reason for the late check out request. Aiyaaaa......again, the hotel is nice, but just not expecting the way things turned out to be. My rating for Ms. Ambika is very POOR - front desk people are NOT friendly, well, except for Manager

Hotel is rather dated but comfortable. When first arriving the man at the front desk was not especially accommodating when it came to Hotels.com perks. Everyone else at the front desk was lovely. Later on in our 4 night stay we asked the same man for ice- we never got it. Other times when we asked for something from other desk personnel we got it immediately or soon afterwards. We were on the third floor so really had no views of the city or harbor. Overall it was a good stay- conveniently located to Hop on Bus and restaurants.

Walking distance from most major attractions and shops. Good links to all transport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Large room clean and tidy. Beds comfy but my pillow was a little on the firm side. Sadly we didnt have a bay view but the view from our side was nice.

This is a well maintained older property. It is well positioned, with in walking distance of Martin Place and Darling Harbour, at a reasonable price for business in the CBD. The one disappointing aspect is no room service.

Front desk service was great. Room was adequate for the price. Restaurant is only open for breakfast - we did not try it. The parking garage has small spaces, is quite grungy and costs AUD $25/day. Lots of restaurants around to satisfy your cravings.

Nice clean basic room , air conditioning was very welcomed being a hot weekend. Staff were very friendly , location was perfect for us , fully enjoyed our stay , buffet breakfast was very basic and don’t use the coffee machine , coffee was nasty , get a Barista coffee instead.

Sure this property is a bit dated, and the facilities are a bit sparse (no room service, no food-prep facilities) but it is a stone's throw from the CBD and still extremely comfortable. I'd stay there again for sure!

Great location. Clean. Room was a bit outdated and the hairdryer was missing. I had to ask a few times before someone addressed it; it felt as if they weren't listening. Also, the breakfast in the cafe was poor and over-priced. With so many great restaurants nearby, I'd skip that one.
