Paid for Valet parking. When I got home I noticed the left rear wheel rim of my brand new car was damaged. The staff member would have felt the hit but failed to acknowledge their incompetence or the damage when handing over the car.

Unfortunately we were unable to use the pool on the second day because of a photo shoot we were not advised of. Kids were quite upset as it was one reason we booked this hotel. The pool was dirty _ cloudy. It had parts of it falling into the pool from the tiles. Carpet in bedroom was disgusting with stains as well as on the bedframe.

Great views and location. Nice Reno but still feels a bit old in areas. Beds are horrible and paid for a queen but got a tiny double. The pool was dirty and also has no shade area so in a day like yesterday with the heat it’s not a nice place to relax by the pool. Air con also wasn’t very strong. Woukdn’t stay here again.

Girls night in Manly We had a great stay at the hotel. Its very central to Manly so easy to walk to cafes, restaurants and bars and right across the road from the beach. The new decor is great (bathrooms maybe still need a reno but are fine) and the new dining options in the hotel are excellent. Rooftop pool a nice bonus when the beach is too rough for swimming.

Nice little room. Breakfast was overbooked, so missed out. Valet lost my car key.. waited with 3 young kids on the street for the valet which never turned up. Had to chase them up and find the key.

Really nice hotel in a prime Manly position. Rooms were large and well appointed. Restaurant attached to the hotel was great if a little expensive. Bar area also very nice. Roof top pool a bonus. Hotel needs to get a grip of breakfast. Understaffed at busy times. But even when we came down early the staff just not that bothered. Overall great hotel. Would recommend.

Great location, very nice decor in reception, restaurant areas but the rest was very disappointing. The rooms were just patched up and painted over the old. Very bad given we paid over $700 / night for 1 basic double room. For that money I could have stayed in the city. Rooms were not cleaned properly. Unfortunately I will not be coming back. I have attached photos of close up from the bathroom (mould, dust, hair, ...)

The location can't be beaten and the staff were lovely. My bedroom had a comfortable bed. The lights flickered especially the downlights over the bed. My bathroom was not very clean. Dirt around the sink taps that could be wiped off easily if someone had made an effort. Hair from lower parts of the body on the back of the toilet. Body lotion at hand basin was empty. Desk chair had cracks and gaps in the covering. Door lock to the balcony locked sometimes but was not very secure.

Great looking hotel from the outside and within the lobby. However the rooms need a refresh abd love and are more in line with a 2.5-3 star hotel. Our toilet was not clean, there was dirty grout in the showers, chipped tiles, soap scum all around shower dispensers, holes in the ceiling plaster, shower doors weren’t clean as well as slight stains in the bathtub. Clothing tags from the previous guest were also found on the floor upon arrival into our room. We did decline the extra $68 per day for a room upgrade so I cant speak for ‘upgraded’ rooms however considering we paid almost AUD $500 per night for our 3 night stay I would have expected the rooms to be cleaner and better maintained. Discussions at the rooftop pool indicate other families shared a similar experience.

In a standard room and very disappointed! The bathroom looked like something from the 1970’s with taps that were hard to turn off. The room smelt and the carpet was filthy. There was a balcony but again was filthy so would not dream to sit outside. The balcony doors also did not stop outside noise. Other parts of the hotel were good including reception and breakfast with lovely and helpful staff However, after staying in an intercontinental, Hilton and Hyatt during other parts of my Australian trip this is no way a five star and possibly would fail a four star in some areas. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again as after a couple of days I was somewhat looking forward to moving on. Ohh yeah disco flashing lights in the room - can’t share video unfortunately! First time I actually left a review but for the money - wow!

Beautiful hotel across the water. Clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Manly. Very clean room and comfortable beds with amazing amenities.

I stayed here with my 88 year old mother. Our room was ok, except it felt like housekeeping had not checked the room for a while as there was dust in the cups, only 2 sheets of tissue paper, broken top of pen on beside table from a previous pen!! The fan in the bathroom was also broken!! This is not indicative of the cost paid for!! We spent 3 nights in Singapore before arriving in Sydney, this hotel is miles apart from the one there, yet the price difference's per night was only £110.00. ( Breakfast was included in our Singapore hotel which was excellent). Staff at front desk and Beach club were very friendly. I asked for a slightly late check out due to my mother’s age and mobility, they could only offer 1 hour!! ( Hotel in Singapore offered 3 hours) I really don’t think that this hotel is value for money!!

This hotel is fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and well appointed and the restaurants and bar are awesome. The location is across the road from the beach and only a couple of blocks to the main shopping. There are restaurants and cafes all around the hotel. I can highly recommend a stay here!

For the very high price (over $500) this was a poor experience. The room was small with no view, the down lights were flickering intermittently, the internet connection was unstable (plus you have to agree to receive advertising email before you can get online), the food was average and the choice quite limited. I travel a lot and I will find another hotel next time I am in Manly.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here! Great service, modern amenities, spacious rooms, great beach views. It offered the chill beach vibe we were looking for. Directly across from beach and a block away from the central shops and weekly outdoor markets. Location can’t be beat and we’re so glad we spent the first part of our Australia trip here vs in central Sydney. A short walk to the Manly - Sydney high speed ferry port gave us the option for a scenic 25 min passenger ferry ride to downtown when we wanted to explore the city…but we loved the laid back feeling of Manly as a home base. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Only drawback I can say is that the roof top pool also has a large venting system on one side of roof and it was noisy - so we didn’t stay up there as long as we wanted. 5 stars otherwise.

Minimal cupboard/ wardrobe space. No drawers/ cupboards on desk or bedside tables. Not enough for more than a weekend stay. Had the feel of a budget hotel room. Exterior large metal (extractor?) unit outside (next to balcony) made constant noise day and night. Overall a disappointing room for price paid.

Beautiful hotel and rooms with a perfect location. Only problem, and a big one, is that the adjoining doors provide little to no privacy. You can hear everything going on in the next room and light shines under and through the sides of the door.

Recently updated hotel but not 5 star. My room #208 had no windows, no true sitting chairs and a poorly installed shower(doesn’t drain properly), definitely not what is pictured on website. Most 3 star hotels I have stayed in have better rooms than mine. The location is great and the lobby, pool and dining rooms are updated and nice

On the hôtel website pictures it seems as if the hôtel was located directly on the beach but it is not. It was quite expensive for a room in which we had a brick wall as a view outside our window.

Incredible! In par with some of the fanciest hotels around the coastlines of Europe. Very friendly and made to feel like a luxury escape not so far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city attractions. Will be back. This is the not-so-secret Manly getaway everyone needs!

I’ve stayed twice in two months and each time the experience has been wonderful! The check-in was smooth and the staff were so friendly! They gave me an upgrade and a drink voucher as well! Loved the espresso machine and really comfy bed! The Italian lady behind the bar was exceptionally kind and friendly. Food was sensational! I’m a solo business traveller so appreciate not feeling “invisible”…

Our stay at the Manly Pacific was A . The hotel is perfectly located to explore all that Manly has to offer. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. Fabulous location right on Manly beach. Room spacious and nicely decorated. Bathroom could do with upgrading. Very small old fashioned shower head, rust around shower door joints. Foul smell coming out of drain on bathroom that elievated when we poured water down. Breakfast had a very good choice of options but waiting was far too long for omelettes or freshly prepared food. Needed another person on duty. Was charged $10 for a bottle of still water in bedroom. This is the first hotel I have been in in a long time that had no free bottle of water for guests in their bedroom. Mentioned it at checkout but got deaf ear.
