The pool and spa area were closed with no warning - and I had booked this hotel specifically for this reason

There was no one at reception when we arrived and the number to call went to a message service. The room was very dirty with a beer bottle of cigarette buts on the balcony, windows so dirty and one sliding door broken with a note taped to it saying not to open. There was a baby's dummy just under the lounge and the bathtub was very dirty.

Kitchen needed a saucepan. Trying pan had a broken handle and could have been non stick. No spatula.

Our 3pm checkin was not available till 3:25pm, many guests trying to check in were left with no reason except the room wasn't ready; pretty poor form. For an apartment that sleeps 6, there is not many cooking supplies e.g. no baking dish, only a small frypan and the list could go on. There was mould in the ensuite bathroom, the furniture is a little worse for wear and could do with up dating.
