Staff was excellent, beds were very comfortable. Amenities for women were excellent- really nice blow dryer, l’Occitane shampoo, conditioners, etc. We walked easily to the new fisherman’s market and easily took transit to key areas. Lots of good Thai, Indian restaurants nearby. We did pay for the breakfast offered and was very good. Had to do laundry and they had a good washer and dryer. Would recommend.

Haven Glebe is located close to Sydney downtown in a quaint area of Sydney. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is really poor unfortunately, you get a credit at a restaurant nextdoor with little choice, only one option to choose from if you want a juice and a coffee with your choosen meal from the menu. Rooms are decent with air con. Bathrooms have very little space for all your toiletries and feels cramped. Don't book this hotel for the gym, it is very poor with 2 cardio machines and 2 cablecross machines, that's it.

Property have old carpet and dirty. We saw dead cockroaches in the hallway and saw a cockroach in a room. I was not quick enough to catch it. Before check out. I had to go through all my belongings and repack both our suite cases. The bathroom's window wouldn't lock. The room to the bathroom have a step that we hurt ourselves several time. We end up putting a towel to level or a reminder! Breakfast was quite good! Staff in the restaurant was polite and respectful!👍

This was our 2nd stay at the Haven and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations due to a pudgent smell of sewer from the bathroon. It was so strong that we needed to leave the balcony door open and the air con on. We reported this to the morning desk manager. I have also sent an email directly to the haven and have not received a reply. Our $291 was not well spent. Very diappointing!

Staff are very friendly, nice comfortable beds, very close to public transports and shops. However, bathroom needs more attention, especially storage space, shower door and cleaning. There’s no space to put anything around bathroom basins and no towel rack. Also water is leaking from shower door and floor which makes bathroom floor wet. Also needs more detailed cleaning in the bath room. Little mold on tiles on the wall and floor.

The location of this hotel is very convenient. The area is nice and quiet, except the busses which are a little bit noisy. Not very well maintained hotel. Top sheet was dirty with red and brown spots, it was changed after we asked. Toilet seat was broken and wasn’t changed for the entire stay of 3 days.

So Haven qas great an older style property that had a courtyard in the middle..Rooms all updated ans a balcony. Unfortunately they had issues with the WiFi but they rang to let us know in case.we wanted to cancel. They gave us free parking fornthis. Thebbreakfast inclued was a nice treat. Would stay again. Nice quiet part of Glebe with restaurants close by ans convenience shops ans pub.

Overall the room was very pleasant, the only negative was the shower. The shower had no door so water when showering went into the bathroom area so floor was verh wet. Also there was no fan on the bathroom so everwhere steamed up when showering.

Great room and it was clean and tidy but for $380 a night, it would have been good to have an air conditioner that worked. It was just blowing air so made the stay uncomfortable to sleep. We got in late so weren’t able to tell anyone and when we did the next morning, nothing was really done about it.

I paid for a room for 4 people. I had to pay a substantial price for the 4th person. The room was the room for 3 people but they split a double bed into 2 very small twins. The room had no drawers for cloths was uniquely small and had no place to put luggage. They only supplied 3 towels a day for 4 people!!!!! And they had an attitude when asked for extra towels. The rating was pretty high but I would give it a 6 out of 10

Ok for the price. Was given wrong room key on check in. Staff opened room for me because it wasn't working...a little embarrassing as they were getting changed. Another room was assigned to me. Room a little dated by clean and bed comfortable for the night.

Amazing staff extremely helpful and nice. The hotel is very clean with there being nothing to complain about the room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. The location of the hotel was also really good with it being just a 6 minute walk to the tram or a few meters away from the bus stop to syndey centre. Would reccomend and stay again.

I love the location which is adjacent to the city. The hotel is right across from a bus that will take into the city within a few stops. The hotel is clean and modern, as it was a remodel of an oder hotel. Make sure to close your bathroom window or the bugs will get in. Housecleaning also cleans with the door open so look out for critters. The cafe, grocery store and deli across the street are so good. The cafe had a better breakfast for just a smidge more. The area itself is cute with bookstores, cafes, and a post office.

The 2 rooms we stayed in were very big, lots of room. Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. Food from attached cafe is delicious, i loved the convenience of room service for breakfast. No parking was available at the hotel but there was heaps of on street parking with no time limit between 4pm & 7am. Only negative was the room next to the road had a lot of traffic noise and noise from other guests walking outside the rooms was very noticeable. Would definitely stay again
