Great place to stop on our journey from Melbourne to Qld. Facilities all good and easy parking on the street. Great pub across the rd for dinner and shopping at Westfield. We would happily stay there again.

Loved staying here. From the moment we arrived, staff were helpful & professional & were at all times throughout our stay. Plenty of space in the room & even a bath which is quite rare in hotel's these days. We used the pool & hot tub a few times & fresh towels were always available. Breakfast was buffet of hot & cold food, always the same, but always fresh & the hot food was hot & well cooked. 5 minutes to walk to the train station, the big Westfield shopping centre & downtown Parramatta. Only down side was we had hired a car during our week’s stay here & while the hotel had its own car park, it costs $20 per 24 hours, so our week cost us an extra $140 in parking charges. Just be aware of this if you plan to stay here with a car

Location is great. 5 minutes' walk to the rail station, several halal restaurants around. Great hotel breakfast. Cleanliness is generally good, the only thing I would suggest to hotel management is to consider changing the carpet in the corridors. They are very old and looks dirty. The fittings in the bathroom are from the sixties...time to upgrade, I think.

We love staying at this hotel when we come to Sydney. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are so comfortable and stylish. The food from the restaurant is fantastic, and only a 10min walk to an enormous Westfield shopping centre and Train station.

The room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was great, however the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was not great in keeping the room cool and the TV was too small compared to what you get in other hotels.

We stayed here for three nights because it was close to the shopping centre and train station. My husband worked from the room and had a massive desk and chair overlooking the window and park views. The shower was great and the room (and bathroom) was spacious. The bed was large and comfortable enough. I would definitely stay again.

Pros: Hotel was walking distance from the station. Rooms were well equipped and clean. Great breakfast. Bar staff and check in were helpful and friendly. Cons: My daughters and husband swam in the hotel pool the morning we checked out. 6 hours later, they both still had painful burning eyes, despite saline eye washes. I called the hotel to let them know and was assured that the maintenance engineer would check chlorine levels and the duty manager would contact me today, but i have not been called. We are regular swimmers and had never experienced anything this severe before. There is some construction happening next door and the pavements have been left in a very dangerous condition with huge holes and multiple trip hazards. This is obviously not within the hotels control,but just something to be aware of if you are walking in the area.

For context, the booking was made on behalf of another person, but the person was not well and as I cannot cancel the booking, we decided to go ourselves. I was not able to change the name straightaway and the Manager is sticking to their policies which is understandable. how he went about it is not nice, or professional. He was condescending and making an assumption that we were a fraud. Anyway, I was able to change the name with the help of Expedia and we stayed. The hotel is clean, the breakfast offer needs a bit of variety. Staff aside from the Manager is kind, and polite like Frank and Joy.

Be careful with the breakfast I paid with my credit card and then they tried to double charge me again saying it was charged to my room, showed them my bank statement and still tried to dispute it. Location is good, clean, and decent amenities

Had a two night stay in Sydney and was very fortunate to stay at the Holiday Inn Parramatta. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was just beautiful and comfy. This hotel is just so convenient in terms of location. 10mins walking distance to a huge Westfield and the train station - so great.
