I guess for us there was no parking. Was the only thing. 8 places isn’t many. We got lucky and packed at some work building that wasn’t open. Probably wasn’t allowed. Shower was amazing! Powerful and hot! Vegan friendly soaps and hair products supplied is awesome too. Liked it there. Would come again and will. Close to Newtown :) 12-13 dollar Uber

The TV remote didn't work, The parking facility was difficult to enter and leave. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful but curt. No cash. Very limited food options.

Great value for money. Parking being an option (payable) is also a great feature. However, lots of long dark hairs in bedroom on floor and in shower, and I flushed toilet paper in toilet make me question just how well cleaned it was.

The restaurant/bar downstairs had some great food and friendly staff! As you will see in other reviews, the hotel is right next to train tracks and they are noisy. It was a great location for where I needed to be with plenty of street parking around. I was overall happy with my stay.

Loved the space and proximity to the soccer stadium. Trains were very noisy so ear plugs are advised. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family, comfortable beds and kitchen a bonus. The floor was dirty in corners so house keeping needs to be increased, otherwise perfect and a great price for the city

Positives: the beds were pretty comfy, and there is decent access to both Redfern and Central stations. Negatives: where do I even begin? My partner had to CLEAN the air con filter upon arrival, as it was filthy and inhibiting the machines ability to fucntion. The staff, although polite, were seemingly incompetent. We needed a new duvet brought to our room due to a spillage. The staff handed us, after us having to ask several times, a duvet and accompanying sheets, and essentially said good luck. No offer to make the bed, or even take the old duvet away! There was NO room service or cleaning during our stay. We had to beg for someone to take away our dirty towels and rubbish. Additionally, the selling points of Mexican street food and bar on site no longer exist, however this was not mentioned anywhere upon the listing nor check in. This accommodation is certainly NOT a hotel, and definitely not worth the $1200 we paid for our 3 night stay.

The property was close to everything. The staff did not make the bed and empty the rubbish on a daily basis. I had spent time at the hospital and returned to see the bed unmade and room not cleaned. The staff only emptied the bin, the bed was made twice in 7 days i had stayed. A different place from when I stayed years ago.

It was a short walk from Redfern station, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I found the room really small and stifling. There was no space for me to open my luggage completely on the floor. The traffic outside was also quite loud day and night. I stayed for only one day which made everything bearable.

A great landing spot for a night. Room was teeny tiny but the bed was so comfortable. The hotel decor is so awesome and they have done a great job styling to make the space feel airy and larger than it is. The hotel is on a busy road and on a train line but that does make it convenient as it’s close to Redfern station and close to bars and cafes. Central is only a 10 min walk away, too. A bit of a shame the taco restaurant has closed as there were no options for a drink or snack in the lobby. You’re not going to want to stay here for a luxury staycation but as far as location, affordability and convenience goes, we’ll stay again.

Manager was friendly on arrival and the room was clean neat and tidy but floors were polished concrete and room was tiny with no coffee or tea making facilities. Room was very noisy from trains running all night and other guests coming in during the night so unable to get any sleep.

Absolute perfect stay. Very good value and great location, only a five minute walk from Redfern station which gets you into the city centre in 12 minutes. Also connected with bus routes, short walk to Broadway which has tonnes of shops and restaurants. Hotel itself the staff were all so nice and accommodating. Our room was even ready at 9:30am which was a nice surprise. For the price you really couldn’t go wrong, the rooms are small but the aircon works well and the beds are comfortable after a long day out and about so that’s what suited us. It’s not a hotel you would be lounging in all day but served its purpose for us perfectly. Loved it!

When I arrived I was greeted by a super friendly reception center! They were super accommodating and welcoming. It is a about a 10 minutes from the Redfern train station, be mindful there is a steep hill from the station but otherwise not far walk! Other thing to note because it is by the train station you can hear the trains sometimes but its very faint so if you are a light sleeper be aware otherwise great for price!

The hotel is a good place for tourists to stay whilst being in Sydney. It is between 2 train stations which made it easy to move around the city and great bus links too. There are some cool areas for eating within walking distance, try Spice Alley for a great range of affordable eats. The room was small but comfortable and gave us everything we need for our stay.

Super close to Redfern and Central train stations, and honestly much better than i was expecting for the price! It was only a tiny room, but the shower pressure was amazing and soundproofing was also great considering how busy it is right outside with traffic and trains!

The three things I look for in a room are safe, relatively clean, and relatively comfortable. I stayed in an El Jefe room which met all of these requirements. Since I planned to spend most of my time out and about, I did not need a lot of amenities. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. The air conditioning worked very well and the shower had plenty of hot water flowing well. It is only a short 5 minute walk to the Redfern station and it felt safe to walk there as a single female. This hotel is right by a major road and the train tracks, so there is a lot of traffic noise. This doesn’t prevent me from sleeping, but if it’s a concern for you, consider ear plugs a must. There is only a small fridge, but no microwave. There are a few hooks for hanging stuff and three bureaus drawers, but no closet. There is no table and chair in the room. The street taco stand in the main lobby is very delicious when it is open in the evening, but I only found it open on Tuesday and Thursday. I would stay there again because it met my needs well. If you need luxury, this might not be the place for you.

Great location and clean accommodation. It was pretty easy to get around near Redfern station and central Sydney in general. The staffs were nice and friendly and the room was properly cleaned, although the fridge seems to be a little weak. Overall great value!

Absolute perfect stay. Very good value and great location, only a five minute walk from Redfern station which gets you into the city centre in 12 minutes. Also connected with bus routes, short walk to Broadway which has tonnes of shops and restaurants. Hotel itself the staff were all so nice and accommodating. Our room was even ready at 9:30am which was a nice surprise. For the price you really couldn’t go wrong, the rooms are small but the aircon works well and the beds are comfortable after a long day out and about so that’s what suited us. It’s not a hotel you would be lounging in all day but served its purpose for us perfectly. Loved it!

Hotel Hacienda is a real gem. Although the room is small it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and the bed is just so luxurious comfortable too. It’s a short walk to Central Railway Station and trams making it an ideal base.

A great landing spot for a night. Room was teeny tiny but the bed was so comfortable. The hotel decor is so awesome and they have done a great job styling to make the space feel airy and larger than it is. The hotel is on a busy road and on a train line but that does make it convenient as it’s close to Redfern station and close to bars and cafes. Central is only a 10 min walk away, too. A bit of a shame the taco restaurant has closed as there were no options for a drink or snack in the lobby. You’re not going to want to stay here for a luxury staycation but as far as location, affordability and convenience goes, we’ll stay again.

The restaurant/bar downstairs had some great food and friendly staff! As you will see in other reviews, the hotel is right next to train tracks and they are noisy. It was a great location for where I needed to be with plenty of street parking around. I was overall happy with my stay.

Positives: the beds were pretty comfy, and there is decent access to both Redfern and Central stations. Negatives: where do I even begin? My partner had to CLEAN the air con filter upon arrival, as it was filthy and inhibiting the machines ability to fucntion. The staff, although polite, were seemingly incompetent. We needed a new duvet brought to our room due to a spillage. The staff handed us, after us having to ask several times, a duvet and accompanying sheets, and essentially said good luck. No offer to make the bed, or even take the old duvet away! There was NO room service or cleaning during our stay. We had to beg for someone to take away our dirty towels and rubbish. Additionally, the selling points of Mexican street food and bar on site no longer exist, however this was not mentioned anywhere upon the listing nor check in. This accommodation is certainly NOT a hotel, and definitely not worth the $1200 we paid for our 3 night stay.

The staff were nice, the rooms are simple, however, they could use some up keep and repair. The room I was in had a broken window latch. The TV light would constantly blink and wake us, so had to be unplugged. The wall also looked dirty under the tv, and could use a clean. Was saddened to find that there as no longer any dining at this hotel.
