Great facilities. I always love staying at Meriton Suites. This one is a little further away from the main restaurant hive in the centre of Parramatta. Beautiful walk along Parramatta River though. Short walk to train. Wait times checking in, checking out, etc was quite long. Pool, sauna and gym not ready yet. Great rate.

Nice place, staff could of been a bit more welcoming and informative about facilities and dinning options in the area, parking was a nightmare, arrows showing you where to go but leading to dead end causing people to be parked in and having to wait for people to reverse in tight awkward and uncomfortable spaces. We walked for Over 2kms trying to find somewhere to get dinner from and no cafes open around in the morning sunday for breakfast. Facilities like pool and spa was good, surprised to see inside and outside options. No restaurant or bar at the hotel.

Everything was good except for a couple of issues. Some of the towels had markings on them. Also, parking was not reliable. We had to park offsite for two of the four nights there as the underground car park was full. I didn’t like having to move the car early in the mornings.

You pay for parking then go out and come back looking for a park no parking, very dangerous carpark as people park anywhere and luckily I have a small car so I could get back out. Then have to park on the street, pay more parking and it’s very dark and late at night with young girls. Yes I got my money back but it’s obviously overselling g the parking.

On our final night, while packing, I discovered a syringe in our room. I was travelling with my young daughter, making this discovery not only horrifying but completely unacceptable. The presence of such a hazardous item in a “cleaned” room reflects a serious failure in housekeeping and a clear breach of Meriton’s duty of care to its guests. The situation was made worse by management’s dismissive response. While the incident was acknowledged, I was told there was “no direct risk.” This showed a concerning lack of empathy and accountability. Whether capped or not, a syringe in a guest room is a significant safety risk. We requested a refund and a goodwill gesture due to the distress caused. Both were declined, with no meaningful effort to make things right. I sincerely hope Meriton re-evaluates how it handles such serious incidents and takes real action to ensure guest safety and duty of care are never compromised in the future.

The accomodation was wonderful, beautiful views and great facilities. The parking was an issue, with nothing available so had to pay $50 for other parking facility off site. Coffee machine not cleaned - full of mould so couldn’t use - a little disappointing.

Stayed on level 47 and all night there was this loud noise, sounded like a siren almost. Rang reception and they advised it was likely the lifts due to the wind. Poor quality of sleep overnight. Surely guests shouldn't have to deal with that.

We decided to end our cruise with a stay in Paramatta Sydney, the Meriton was close to the ferry terminal which was handy. The unit was new with kitchen, washing facilities, a generous bathroom. It was a bit disappointing that the room didn't have a view or that we couldn't use the courtyard that was visible from the room but the ranchsliders were locked and we were unable to access the courtyard.

This facility is good, but the staff are not great. I asked on several occasions to have an issue in my room fixed, but it was not resolved in the three night I was there despite promises that someone would attend. Dissapointing to say the least.

We came down to Sydney for a few days and we loved how convenient everything was. We did end up parking offsite a couple of nights just because parking is limited - but there are a couple of options nearby. We did want to take a moment to thank the staff in particular. We had an issue with our bathroom half way through our stay, and after notifying reception - they were prompt to relocate us into another room and very apologetic. They made what could have been a rather stressful experience far more manageable, and we’ll definitely be back if we’re back down this way :)

Condo in itself is nice, it’s the management and housekeeping that is lacking 1) impossible to reach the front desk…tried 5 times and was put on hold for more than 15 mins each time.. 2) internet and phone not working for 4 out of 6 days 3) missing towels, soap, ustensiles, bowls, glasses had to call for everything 4) they don’t do daily cleaning! They came once in a week and did not even cleaned the counter or table..only made the bed. Very superficial cleaning crew. 5) the parking is 35$ per night, more expensive than downtown Disney 6) there’s nothing around…it’s a dead business city with not many restaurant options. 7) had to call 3 times for a dish towel…they brought me one on the 3rd that was dirty with a hole in it? they didn’t see that?? Would not go back again. Very disappointed.

The Meriton in Parramatta is in a great location, close to the Ferry & a short walk to the train station, also has a Woolies Metro next door so super convenient. The apartment itself was clean & quiet, only downside was the couch was a little uncomfortable to sit on but other than that it was great. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful, nothing was an issue, we had the pleasure of being served by Marija who was an absolute pleasure to speak with as was Declan, in fact all of the staff were terrific, they were all very happy & seemed to enjoy what they were doing & it certainly showed with the way they treated the hotel guests. Yes, felt neglected with zero room service. Staff always busy not to answer call from room. You always have to come down to reception to get anything. Swimming pool was a mess with cigarettes bud in the pool.

I found it a bit disappointing that there was nothing near for late night coffee or meals. I booked not realising that there were no dining facilities at the Meriton. But the staff were great, hated having to ask for help with the TV as it was just beyond me but the assistance was excellent.

Best aspect was walking distance to public transport. Worst aspect was that the building was under construction and their was a ridiculous amount of demolition and building noise starting at 7am in the morning. Plus their was absolutely no amenities available due to construction. No restaurant, no pool and no parking. This was NOT advised upon booking through wotif
