Only 5 minutes on the Suoer Shuttle Bus from International arrivals and departures, the Novotel is a good choice if you are just on an overnight stop-over in Sydney. It’s the first stop on the shuttle bus and check in at the hotel, for us, was quick and service friendly. The room was a superior double and was spacious and clean, it had a fridge complete with complimentary water. We were too late to eat at the restaurant, so ate in the bar. The food was good, there was a fair selection of dishes and prices not bad for a hotel. Transfer back to the airport was quick and it only took us 25 minutes from getting on the bus to negotiating check-in, border controls and security and sitting down to breakfast.

The hotel itself is fine, however being an airport hotel (it's even in the name!), I was surprised that it offers no shuttle service. They instead recommend a shuttle service that charges $12 per person to take you a total distance of 1.1 km. As a family of four, that's almost $50. When you factor in that additional cost, it's overpriced for what you receive and just not something I'd recommend.

세면대는 물이 잘안내려가고 객실 내 물이 2병있다더니 1병밖에 없어서 달라고 했더니 1층에 내려와서 레스토랑에서 직접 받아가라고 하더라구요 셔틀은 호텔마다 다 들려서 오래걸리고 인당 12달러나 받았어요 셔틀비용이 얼마인지도 미리 안알려줘서 기분이 안좋았네요

I was really looking forward to using the pool at this hotel, but they use the pool at the condo building next door. So, there was little to no service complete shade in the afternoon.

All of the purse deal in the hotel were wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful. The morning breakfast buffet was always good and the service in the restaurant was also excellent. My only complaint is that the hotel is tired the carpets are worn there was mold in the shower, and the room was noisy. They have a pool but it’s extremely small and there were only four lounge chairs. They share the pool with the apartment complex that is on site, so good luck getting a lounge chair unless you go early.

I booked cos I thought it was walking distance to airport. $12 for the shuttle should be free. First shuttle didn’t go till 4.30 so didn’t work with our 6.15 departure as I am sure many others have been caught out

The bathroom needs renovation. The grout is stained with mold and paint has peeled from the bottom of the door. The hinges are also rusty. Otherwise the room was fine. Very quiet for an airport hotel. It was cheaper to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, than use the shuttle bus.

This hotel is near the airport and has a great lobby area. However, the rooms are so bare and incredibly outdated. Very little artwork on the walls, stains on the carpet and the bathroom honestly didn’t feel like it had been cleaned well enough. They also charge you $12 to take the shuttle to the airport. Feels like this should be included in the stay.

Our first room (2 queens) was pretty small and the air conditioning did not work. It was 25 degrees when we arrived and was only going up in temperature. The front desk switched us to a family room - much larger room for space - considered an upgrade although it’s a bit of a hassle to switch rooms. The hotel seems clean and has nice walking areas. The rooms are just a bit tired - or maybe it’s the carpet. And the restaurant was great for the breakfast but not great for the dinner.

Air conditioning very noisy. Room basic and very dated, especially the bathroom which had paint peeling off the door and was in need of an upgrade. Unless you are in desperate need to be near the airport I would not recommend.

Convenience suits us. We have stayed here about 5/6 times in the past. But rooms are looking tired now. Rooms overlooking the air-conditioning units above the entrance are noisy...a consistent noise of motors running all night. This has had twice now and you dont notice the noise until you turn out the light and go to bed. Lighting is poor in the room. Only lamps, no ceiling lights .As well inconsiderate noisy late arrivals next room didn't help. Not the hotels fault. But soundproofing is lacking.

The accommodation itself was all good. However, we were delayed and I called the Novotel network number to ask if late check-in was available, and if parking would still be available. They tried to contact the property, but received no response; they sent an email - I didn't receive any reply. While late check-in was available - the desk is open 24 hours - it would have been much less stressful if we'd known that before starting our two hour drive.

Long, slow check in with a very noisy function being held in an adjacent room which was open to the reception desk. Staff and guests were struggling to hear each other. We were allocated an incorrect room and we had to return to reception with our luggage and a printed copy of the booking documents!! We then had to wait for ages again before they allocated us our correct room. Very disappointed- we felt like we weren’t being respected!!

Despite a late arrival on our flight and an influx of guests from a cancelled flight, we were checked in quickly and easily. The team on the desk were cheerful and helpful even at almost midnight. Luckily we were still in time to get something to eat at the bar as well. A welcome ‘real meal’ after almost 30hours of travel.

On arrival we had a lot of bags to offload and my wife had a 2 year old to manage so I had to offload bags to a trolley. The reception staff just watched me struggle and chatted away without any help. When I asked they eventually came over. The room was dirty and bed was old and horrible to sleep on. When leaving the reception staff brought the bags on the trolley out to the front of the hotel they just left at the door for me to take the rest of the way. Again a lot of bags.

Just wanted a hotel near the airport because my flight was arriving late at night. The hotel is too far to walk to from the airport with luggage, they don't run a shuttle service. The cab drivers charge $30 for a 3 minute drive! Unfortunately I couldn't use Uber because I didn't have an Australian SIM card.

Convenient to Wolli Creek Station to travel to airport. Staff were very friendly. I left my medication in the fridge and the staff retrieved it and held it in the fridge for my return 10 days later. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Very convenient and easy. I was early for check-in but the staff did their best to make the room available as soon as possible. Very friendly, and the room was quiet and safe - excellent black-out curtains. I would discourage dining at their bar, though. I got the confit pork belly, which was tough and the accompaniments unpleasant; and the lava cake, which was sweet with good texture but no depth of flavour.

Novotel was a clean and comfortable hotel, close to the airport. We were grateful that our room was ready when we arrive at 11 am, after our 15 hour flight. We stayed only one night and the breakfast was outstanding the next morning.

Hotel was decent although the flush in the toilet was not working well but do yourself. Favour and do not order room service. We had a grilled chicken burger and hamburger and they were the worst we ever had. The chicken was not touched by any spice (not even salt) and burger was so well done that only eatable part was bacon. Fries were ok.
