My wife and I celebrated our 21st anniversary with a 3 night stay at the Omni King Edward Hotel. I loved the aesthetic of the lobby and the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Our couples massage at the spa was phenomenal. We were very pleased with our stay.

The in hotel bar was real nice ombiance. The room was super clean. Staff was amazing madaline did my check in and helped alot. Only thing missing was a pool or hottub to use. There was a spa but needed appointment and cost a fair bit.

Great property, nice staff. Although ice machine was on mezzanine area (I was on 11th floor), I had ice delivered to me. Self parking was next door in public garage and was easy to walk. I would stay there on my next trip.

What an amazing beautiful hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was large and comfy. The location was perfect too. We were able to walk everywhere. The bar staff was amazing. We felt like family.

Everything was wonderful overall. However, Room 1410 had two issues in the bathroom. First, the water in both the sink and the shower drained very slowly. Second, the bathroom ventilation fan was covered in a thick layer of dust, which made me question the cleanliness standards of such an otherwise excellent hotel. Aside from these concerns, everything else was great.

The hotel itself is classy and quiet. Has security guy at night do hallways patrols. Upon arrival, we were greeted (my best friend and I) by friendly fast efficient staff. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, Eaton's Center and union station. When we got into our room, it was clean but a dirty rag was left on the tv stand. Also, we ordered room service, filling out the form the previous night and the next morning only one of the breakfasts was delivered. We had to call and wait for our other order to come up even though we did mark off two breakfasts. I was then charged a delivery fee twice. The front desk did take off the one delivery fee of $6 when I spoke to them, however for the inconvenience, they should have taken off both delivery charges. As my breakfast came and my friend's didn't come till later due to their mistake. So quite disappointing for a hotel that you'd think would have higher standard of service.

Pros: Beautiful rooms, great location, reasonable parking rate. Cons: Heating/cooling unit excessively loud. Had to shut it off to sleep. Flimsy toothbrush and the cheapest razor you can possibly find should you forget your toiletries.

The standard king room was gorgeous with plenty of space. Also was very quiet considering how close we were to public transit. Very pleased it was walking distance to most locations (dining, shopping, distillery district, and union station). Had no issues with cleanliness of the hotel and it was one of the best sleeps I had in a hotel bed. Worth every penny.

We had a wonderful experience at the Omni King Edward Hotel! When the front desk associate, Madeleine, learned that we were celebrating our 23rd anniversary, she surprised us with a complimentary upgrade — such a thoughtful touch! The hotel is clean, chic, and beautifully maintained, with an elegant atmosphere throughout. The location is perfect — central and convenient for reaching everything we wanted to do. We also appreciated the complimentary bottled water provided to guests. Overall, the service was outstanding, the room was lovely, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make our celebration memorable. Housekeeping staff are courteous, always with a smile and greeted guests. They did a great job cleaning our room. Our server at the Victoria cafe was pleasant and attentive. Front desk and bell hop staff were also courteous and attentive. The lobby is stunning. It is filled with the lovely scent of Panettone and King's bread coming from Decasto cafe. The location is convenient and is a walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the wonderful St Lawrence market. Overall, we are very pleased with our stay.

Front desk employee was incredibly welcoming and upon learning we had a birthday in our party she gave us extra drink coupons to use at the bar and offered to upgrade our room if there had been space to accommodate! Hotel is close to many things in Toronto, very clean and well kept. Even cleaning staff welcomed us in the hallways!

Hotel is in a fantastic location close to the subway station, trams and buses. Very walkable to get to many of the downtown attractions. The hotel itself is great. Rooms are big, clean and have comfortable beds. Food we had for breakfast was very good. Staff were all excellent and friendly; whether that was at reception, walking around the hotel, in the restaurant or talking to the cleaning staff. It shows that Customer Service is obviously a focus point for the hotel. I would definitely stay here again if/when I come back to Toronto.

The customer service was outstanding. I arrived late in the evening, and the night shift clerk, Princes, welcomed me warmly with great professionalism and kindness. The complimentary water and cookies were a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. The lobby is beautiful, with very comfortable couches, and the entire building has an elegant and well-maintained look. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is quiet, calm, and refined. My room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly quiet. I will absolutely be returning.

Absolutely appalling experience from start to finish. We booked—and paid for—a king-size, non-smoking room, yet walked into what can only be described as a nicotine chamber. The stench of cigarettes was so thick it could’ve peeled the paint off the walls. When we complained, their idea of a solution? Downgrade us to a smaller room—because apparently, paying for an upgrade gets you less here. The new room? Broken AC in the middle of summer. Hoping it would magically start working, we went to dinner to cool off (literally and figuratively). Spoiler alert: came back, still no air. When I called the front desk, I was met with attitude and sarcasm, as if it was our fault their room was busted. Eventually, someone came to confirm—yes, the AC was actually broken. Thanks for the revelation. Their idea of an apology? A sad little fruit tray. As if a handful of bruised grapes and stale melon slices are going to erase the chain of incompetence we experienced. Bottom line: Don’t waste your money here. Don’t waste your time. There are plenty of places that won’t treat paying customers like this. Avoid at all costs.

We spent just one night at the Omni king. Staff was very friendly. Area is right off the king subway station so you can come across some homelessness. Room was clean but there was an irritating noise that would wake me up at night. The following morning the staff was very helpful in addressing the issue

I enjoyed staying at the King Edward. It is in a pretty cool part of Toronto, which is home to a lot of local history. It is also close to a lot of the major tourist attractions, between Scotiabank Place on Front and the Eaton Centre/Massey Hall near Dundas. It has easy access public parking beside the building, and TTC’s King Station is a block away, making it easy to around town from.

Picked this property for proximity to the subway to get out to the National Bank Open tennis tournament. It is an old hotel, and there were some minor negatives - slightly noisy air handler for the A/C and a sink that needed attention. Otherwise, great. Very helpful staff. Walking distance to Union Station (and UP train to/from the airport), St Lawrence Market, waterfront and CN Tower, and museums (although longer walk). Fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood too. The room was large and comfortable for 2 people and consistent wifi. The hotel truly deserves the 4.5-5 stars you see on different sites.

The hotel was very nice. Check in was fabulous. Brendan at reception was awesome. We had lunch at the lobby bar twice and Miriana, our server, was outstanding. We also had breakfast in the hotel and our servers there were also wonderful. The quality of the food was very good, as well as the selection and the prices were reasonable.

The room needed a lot of work! The baseboards and the walls were in poor shape. Also this was our second stay here. We came back from a concert and I was very disappointed that the restaurant/bar would prepare food for us (we arrived back just after 11pm) and all they could offer which was a charcuterie board which was awful and way overpriced.
