Everything went wrong from the very beginning. We mistakenly used hotels.com to book the room and their website did not show. The second room is being confirmed so my husband booked it again making it a mistake that needed to be corrected. But neither hotels.com nor the hotel would recognize that there was a room that never was occupied, but yet paid for. Many things were wrong about the hotel, including Tile in our room that was loose and cracked as you enter the room. But most of all, it’s the lack of security in the parking lot that they charge you $50 a night to park in but offer absolutely no security. To the point where my suitcase with all my valuables in it was STOLEN. I’m very thankful the Niagara Falls Police, who are very vigilant however, the hotel staff once again will not be reviewing the security tapes because they’re very busy. One more example of just how negligent they are.

My experience with the Oak Hotel and the Hilton Hotel in Niagara Falls was extremely disappointing. I had a confirmed reservation at Oak Hotel for last Saturday, May 16th, but after waiting in line for 10–15 minutes, I was told my reservation had been cancelled due to overbooking. I was redirected to Hilton Hotel with promises of a room upgrade. Instead, despite paying over $300 for one night, I was given a terrible room facing the back of another building with an awful view. When I complained, I was told no other rooms were available. To make matters worse, Hilton also charged an outrageous $100 for one night of parking. This was supposed to be a special occasion for my wife’s birthday and our anniversary, but both hotels were unprofessional, unresponsive, and showed very poor customer service overall.
