We thought the complimentary buffet breakfast was very sparse. For what we paid for the hotel, it could have been a bit better. The charge for overnight parking was outrageous. All in all the hotel was good.

Very central and minutes from the subway making traveling easy around the city. Hotel inside is clean, outside is very rundown garbage piled up down the street. Ran into alot of homeless ( some aggressive some not). Rooms were nice but not worth the price. balcony was covered in cigarette butts , plumbing in bathroom rarely worked. had to call for service anytime we needed to use the toliet. bathroom has no ventilation fan or sink. to wash hands you had to walk down the hall in your room. Very frustrating, as we ended up having to run down to main floor to use bathroom as we got tired of calling to get help. Wifi and cable have very weak signals. Better wifi is available for $5 a day. cable - don't expect to watch anything with out a burry screen. No drinks, coffee or water is offered. Continental breakfast is available for $17. Ive never had a continental breakfast with a fee before. Washer and dryers are available but only 2 sets. line up gets busy, and only one dryer works. clothing does not dry and left damp. bed was very comfortable, pillows were fluffy and firm. Not the worst but i would not be booking at this hotel in the future.

Great location for downtown Toronto. Parking is expensive. Valet parking is $52/day. There were two issues I had is in my room the second night the hot water had ran out and I had to wait some extra time for the water to get hot again to take a shower, which was a huge inconvenience. The other issue is the air conditioner was only able to turn off or on. There was no adjustment of temperature.

Our family was disappointed that there was no pool, despite Expedia listing the hotel as having one. Looks like there used to be a pool but not anymore. Also looks like Expedia removed the Pool option from the hotel listing.

Great hotel but the WiFi dropped out continuously throughout our 4 night stay when in the room. Every 30 seconds it would ask us to reconnect . Other than this, which was incredibly irritating in the year 2024 , it was a great hotel

Decent place. Rooms were a bit lackluster. Didn’t provide trash bags until asked. Previous guest mess still lingering. Loose door handles. Besides that stuff the hotel was decent. Staff were nice and accommodating. The concierge never got back to me about food. So I’m guessing they weren’t knowledgeable about the area. Overall 3/5 I wouldn’t go back. Unless it was last resort.

Rating also has something to do with price. I paid $735 for one night because apparently the whole city was busy and very few choices but it’s criminal a property that is basically a Travelodge can change this rate. But, I guess a I’m the coop for paying it. Checked in late, went for dinner and came back. Room smelled musty. Went to bed and got up and that’s when we noticed the filth. Pink mold on the shower head, drain didn’t drain and looked like the tub had been cleaned with a dirty rag. The grout the bathroom was filthy. Marks dirt and grime on the walls of the bathroom, some of which I’m sure was blood. Behind the bathroom door looked like it had never seen a mop or a broom. I have pictures and was in a room 324. Fee free to check. This is just lack of care by the staff. A property doesn’t have to be new to be well taken care of and clean. I certainly wouldn’t have been so disappointed at $200 a night but would still have brought it up.

It was not very clean. Things were wiped down, but the bathroom had the unmistakable odour of a wet rag that had been sitting around for too long. Indicating that while things looked clean, they were wiped down with something not clean.

Decent location, convenient walking distance to mall. Room was stuffy and smelled a bit musty. Service staff were great. Public areas were clean and safe. Entrance street was a tad questionable with public urination, but that can happen anywhere.

We stayed 4 nights. The first room we stayed in was backing on to the elevator, there was continuous elevator noise day and night. I asked to move the next morning and they were very accommodating and apologetic. The second room was quieter. The rooms could use refresh, but were otherwise clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything fine except nort tower room 949 bed was an old innerspring well past its prime and very uncomfortable and bed sheets were old and very rough and picky on the skin... not soft at all. Just awful. Towels were the same... scratchy old and stunk likenleach. Really disappointing. Road noise was god awful. You won't sleep at all without ear plugs in that room. Fire station 100 feet away and sirens go off at least 6 tomes through the night i was there 2 nights April 30 and May 1, 2025, and didn't sleep a wink both nights. Would not stay there again.

Rooms were clean and well appointed The lobby always smelled good! Staff at the desk were very helpful and accommodating Only issue was hot water in bathroom took over 10 minutes to heat up and still wasn’t hot. We were offered another room. Some noise from police vehicle sirens but that’s to be expected being in the heart of downtown Overall a wonderful stay!!

Very bad experience The staff knock at the door at 9:00 am to tell us we have to leave. But the check out was at 11:00 am. Also it took 1h to find a valet for parking. Not recommended to expensive for what it is.

Regine, the woman who checked us in, was amazing! She was so patient and kind. She greeted us in such a warm and welcoming way. Her name tag said “in training” but you’d never know that with her amazing service. She genuinely deserves to be recognized!

Receptionist lied about free breakfast. Room was dirty and none of the outlets worked. Did not accept health card as an ID even though literally everywhere else does. Still awaiting my refund since I couldn’t check in with a health card but my friend had to pay again.

I normally enjoy this hotel. It’s location and cleanliness matched previous experience but check in somewhat frustrating. Waited 25 minutes as there seemed to some issues with ones in front of the lineup. I understand that happens but no sense of urgency, apology or any acknowledgement of lengthy delay. The lady was not necessarily rude, but far from friendly. Everything else including check out was positive but disappointed with check in and attitude.

Nice staff, good location in Toronto, near a subway stop and walkable to Yorkville, Church-Wellsley, and street isn't too busy. I was on the 16th of 17 floors, and my only complaint is the pipes don't appear to be insulated, so there is constant water noise once every minute or so. If you are sensitive to this kind of noise I would look elsewhere. Also no continental breakfast; you have to pay.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were EXCELLENT - super polite and efficient. Location is excellent as well - tons of restaurants and activities within 10-15 minute walk, and super close to the subway. Only thing to be warned about though - this hotel is very close to a fire station and we heard sirens at all hours of the day and night which could be a bother if you're a light sleeper. Overall though, great stay!

We spent 4 nights at the Marriott in August and had a very nice stay. The staff are really great and the breakfasts served at the Bistro are amazing. The location is very walkable and the subway is close.

Good solid hotel - little Bistro on ground floor was very convenient and helpful. Staff were all very helpful. There could have been a few more supplies in the room such as kettle, basic toiletries etc but I am sure would all be available if we asked. Good location for access to downtown and nearby metro station.
