Hot tub not working/no water in it. Bedroom was so dry, both my kids woke up with nosebleeds. Shower in hotel room very slippery. Pullout couch very uncomfortable. Expedia included a continental breakfast. Staff at hotel said not included. I had to pull up the ad on Expedia which was not accessible or outlined in the receipt. Had to find in original search.

Called down to front desk for valet to retrieve my vehicle. The gentleman said it would be there in five minutes. Went down and waited 45 minutes for my vehicle. Head of valet said it was on its way but it wasn’t until the 35 minute mark that another valet took our ticket and made a call and stated that they never received a call from the front desk.

The room was quite loud because of the train tracks nearby. Also we booked this hotel specifically for the pool but the pool was closed for both days that we were they so we were disappointed. They didn't communicate that the pool was closed until we arrived.

We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights for Jays' games. There was no housekeeping, no water or coffee in the rooms, the dirtiest pool ever (including a used condom on the pool deck. We reported it, but it wasn't dealt with). Very expensive hotel for this to happen. Very disappointed with Marriott Hotels, especially as a member!

Excellent property. Located perfectly for the Blue Jays game and/or any event at the Rogers Centre. The only thing during this stay was that the whirlpool was under renovation. And we always visit the pool and whirlpool (jacuzzi) when we travel after a long day walking.

Driving an EV was a nighmare. The staff that we spoke to (all 6 individuals) each gave different information about how to charge, what they can do to assist with charging, and the rules around their process. Nobody had a clue. Considering we drove 190 miles to stay there, and the car was at 12% battery when we arrived, this was absurdly bad service. The only saving grace was a single security gentleman who at 1 am was willing to walk to the garage and check the physical status of the charger. Lo and behold, there wasn't even a car in the charging spot, and the charger was available. I can only imagine how long it was sitting like that before someone took the time to actually look.

We stayed for my son’s 10th birthday. Our room was decent, but a bit run down. Dented up microwave and peeling leather chair. Pool needed a deep cleaning but overall a decent budget option for downtown. Also I had emailed prior to see if there was anything special they could do for my son’s birthday and was told they would let the concierge team know, but nothing special was offered or noted. That's understable, but I was under the impression there might have been something, even a chocolate on the pillow lol. If they can't do anything, they should have just stated that off the hop. 😊 All in all the location was great, nice and close to everything.

We liked the proximity to the baseball. The room lacked some amenities such as a microwave and sufficient space for clothing. The sports net lounge lacked cleanlines.. The floor was verydirty on each visit. Service was low to medium quality. Overpriced in general.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Marriott City Centre in Toronto for a family holiday (Jan 3rd-6th) and had a fantastic experience. We booked a Family Suite, which was perfect for our group of 6. Having two TVs and a separate sleeping area for the adults was key! The location couldn't be beat – we were within walking distance of the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, shopping, and even caught a Raptors game at Scotiabank Arena! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Housekeeping was the best I've ever encountered, especially when traveling with four kids! They went above and beyond to ensure our room was spotless and comfortable. Guest services were always helpful and efficient, and room service was prompt and friendly. One small surprise was the lack of a microwave in the Family Suite. However, when my daughter inquired about heating up her mac and cheese, the staff went above and beyond! They not only provided a microwave but personally escorted her back to our room with it. Talk about incredible service! The only minor issue was the shower head in our bathroom. While the bathroom itself was beautifully designed, the rain shower head had low water pressure, making it a bit tricky to rinse my hair. It could have just been an off day, though. Overall, we highly recommend the Marriott City Centre for families visiting Toronto. The location is unbeatable for exploring the city's top attractions, and the service is truly top-notch. We'll definitely be back!

This was the worst hotel stay we've ever had. The staff was absolutely miserable and put us in a room significantly different from what we booked. The property is dated, the furniture shows significant wear, pool area is unclean. Avoid at all costs. Will not stay at a Marriott again any time soon.

The property was ok. It was weird how the wall had leakage and was soaked. The carpet was also soaked about 8-10feet from the wall. The paint was peeling and the baseboards looked like this has happened before. I don’t know if it came from the out side rains or the upstairs suite but it was an unpleasant surprise. We ended up moving the furniture around to avoid the large area of soaking wet. Only a two day/night visit. Great place and even better location otherwise.

To be fair I gave stuff and cleanliness a four star but overall experience is terrible primarily because their horrible networks or wifi for entire stays. I can't believe a 4-star hotel could have such bad basic facility issues which caused the wifi not usable AT ALL.

This hotel is beautifully designed, clean, conveniently located, and very unique. Our room is huge and unique as well. My complaint is that it’s very noisy early because of the trains right outside our window and the elevator right next door. Other rooms farther from the elevator and on the other side may be better if one is a light sleeper like me.

Was a nice room, but was disappointed the jet tub didn’t work. There wasn’t a microwave to warm up coffee or food. Was very quiet though, tge amenities were great, enjoyed Tge Sports Net Lounge on more than one occasion. Hotel greeters were good, as well as Front desk workers. A very clean, crisp hotel and so handy of location. Close to everything. Especially for Baseball or concerts ect. Watched one Blue Jays game from the Sports Net Lounge and had three booked games that were at out the room door. Very quiet, comfortable beds, clean quality stay. Would definitely stay again

I booked a king room and they tricked me at the reception and checked me into a twin bed room. When I saw the room I immediately contacted the reception which they were unhelpful and the manager was not nice and told me it’s a “take it or leave it”. I asked for a refund and was rejected because “I already checked in”. The room was missing main amenities such as towels and slippers. I had to ask for literally everything and they take ages to respond. The room was dusty and unclean, the hallway was smelly and the carpets were dirty.

Ate at Sportsnet before Jays game Sunday and had a good lunch. We paid for breakfast with our reservation and will not do that again. Did not enjoy the food, service was not good. Your hostess who was working, was rude to us when we came in. We waited a while to be waited on and we wondered over to look out the window at rogers centre. Her words to us to greet us were "WOW" then she lectured us on how we were not to open the blind to look out (meanwhile blind are open 15ft down) Never once said good morning, how are you nothing. Our waiter took forever to even ask us if we wanted any drinks. Valet parking and room were excellent!

This is a GREAT location for all things Toronto! We visited Toronto for the first time and found everything we wanted to see within easy walking or train distance from this hotel. The staff in Sports Net were amazing, and the food was delicious considering it was a hotel sports bar. The only issue we had was with the coffee in the room, but the staff at the reception desk took care of that quickly. Will stay again!

We had a fantastic stay, staff is very friendly and helpful, easy and fast check in, and the rooms were super clean and stocked up with lots of extras you also can’t beat the convenience of this location, right near all the big things to do in toronto. my only bad experience would be the breakfast buffet, for $28 i expected some better quality food with more offerings. next time i would definitely skip the buffet but other than that i would 100% come back to this hotel.
