The elevators when we got there 2 out of the 3 worked, one day later 1 out of 3 worked. We were there for 4 nights. The main lobby looked like a 5 star hotel but with the elevators not working to full capacity, the balcony should actually be condemned and the patio doors not opening properly, the bed was really hard and uncomfortable would be a reason we would not go back there. The staff was awesome and very helpful and professional.

I liked the trail and greenery around the property that allows for relaxing outside. The way it is designed feels like you are "away from it all" and is refreshing. The tennis/basketball court is "under renovations"; there is currently no room service. There is one microwave on the 2nd floor (none in the room), which would be cool if all the elevators were in great working condition. Overall, I think this property could be a staycation hotspot and stand out among hotels in the city with upgrades to the facilities and amenities.

The main lobby is beautiful and the grounds were nice. The room itself was nice but not as nice as I was expecting. A little outdated but clean. The pool is nothing like I was expecting. It was in very poor condition. There are not gradual steps leading into the pool and only a pool ladder that was loose and unsafe. The edging around the pool was loose and could be lifted off with your bare hand. I had been looking forward to my stay at this hotel for quite a while and was slightly disappointed. There are a lot of renovations being done and I hope the pool is one of them. Needed Drastically!

This hotel was beautiful and the bed was luxurious. We were so comfortable. The hygiene supplies were fantastic and the toilet paper was very plush and 4 ply! For the area, the price was great and we appreciated the parking as well. It had an excellent hot tub as well. Our number one complaint was it only had one working elevator while we were staying there and that made things very difficult.

The hotel lobby is modern and clean. The hallways and rooms, less so. The hot water went out one day, so no hot showers. The fitness center A/c was not working and they closed it. One of the 3 elevators were broken For at least 3 days. Outdoor pool was nice. The hotel needs some work and some upgrades.

It’s a lovely hotel in mid town Toronto with good access to roads and public transit. However, only one of three elevators were working and that one sporadically and slowly. The staff were very apologetic about the situation but I remember the last time I stayed there the same elevator was not functioning.

The hotel as a whole was a great stay for our family of 3. The bed was a little firm for our liking, but the pillows were comfortable. The rooms were clean, and the view was great even though the balcony was small. Would have liked to have a roll away bed for our son since the couch didn't pull out, but we made it work.

Elevators was a big issue. One night I waited twenty minutes to use the elevator. My room also wasn’t cleaned upon arrival. Also, for the price I paid I would have at least thought they would have cleaned my room the next day and change the sheets…but they didn’t. Not impressed. Pool was also very dirty, a lot of dead bugs inside and around the pool was dirty as well. Again, for the price I paid…not impressed. I also lost my sunglasses.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights for my business trip and on the first day I had bed bug bites all over my two arms. Changing my room was easy but I had to strongly fight to get all my laundries done. And after all they said there were no bed bugs when they inspected and are on sale without any extra sanitizing process. Very disappointed

The hotel was in a great location. The rooms were very clean. The service was good. The bed however had a huge hole in it that I sunk in to the point where I couldn't move. Extremely uncomfortable I ended up sleeping at the bottom of the bed.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel room. The space was impressively large, which made it feel instantly relaxing. I especially loved having a bath — it was perfect after a long day. The central heating kept the room at a consistently comfortable temperature, which made the whole experience even better. And the bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept so well thanks to how supportive and cozy it was. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Not a great experience. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and tried to help resolve issues. On the less positive side, this property is showing its age. The elevators are a disaster. One of them was out of order and the other two took forever to come. On a few occasions I waited over 15 minutes for an elevator, only for it to arrive completely full. As well, the rooms were way too hot. The staff provided a fan to help, but it was still too hot. There were many others in the hotel with the same complaints.

The room facilities are a bit outdated and the soundproofing is not very good. The central air-conditioning only provides cooling without heating or temperature control, which makes the room rather cold at night. Hopefully this can be improved.

Area was good. About 30min from downtown Toronto. My biggest problem was our room and front desk staff. When we arrived at our room, the first thing we noticed was the AC unit in the room was making a banging noise. This was very loud and disruptive which made it hard to sleep. The sliding glass door to the patio had a broken handle (which made it extremely hard to open), which we had to open to get fresh air as the AC unit was off. In the bathroom, the shower curtain rod mounts were coming out of the wall and it was barely hanging on. It was sagging at an angle that prevented the curtain from going all the way to the wall, which caused water to get out all over the floor behind the toilet when the shower was used. And finally the main curtain was also broken such that when we tried to close it all the way the end of it was hanging off the rod and it would leave a gap between the two curtains. This allowed a lot of light to come into the room and made it difficult to sleep. When I approached the front desk I asked to be moved to another room and was told no, and given no reason as to why. Just a flat NO. They said they would send someone to look at the AC in the room the next day. Which they did, and the tech said the motor was bad. They could not replace it till the next day. So we had no AC and no airflow for a day. After they replaced it, the unit was no longer making the banging noise but it running louder than a normal AC unit should. Will not book this hotel again.

Staff was nice but not very understanding when we told them that the thermostat needed to be replaced. It was showing 90 degrees but it was cold in the room and sounded like an airplane taking off!!! They sent someone to look at it and still not fixed!!! After two more complaints they sent up a space heater that was noisy as well!!! Then at 3:45 am the adjoining room guests had their tv at full blast!!!! All in all an uncomfortable nights sleep. Won’t stay here again any time soon.

Pan Pacific was a very nice place. The staff were very friendly. Our waitperson Jolanta was a very friendly person and was glad to have her take care of us for breakfast during our stay. She greeted us cheerfully each morning and remember what our preferences were for our beverages. When we made our plans to visit Toronto we were looking for some place just outside of the city and Pan Pacific was the right choice. Parking is ample and restaurants are nearby. Only downside shower could use a little more room.

Our entire floor and room smelled like weed. The hotel prohibits smoking; however, it was clear people were smoking in their rooms. We did not get early check in that was ensured to us over the phone. We called several times prior to checking in and could not reach the hotel. We got charged for parking even tho this was not communicated to us upon check in. Severely disappointed and honestly, would like a refund for our stay.

Arrived with 2 large and 3 small cases but there was no help available. I had to search for a case trolley, load them myself and push them inside. Took a lot of persuasion at reception to get someone to take them to our room. Same at exit the next morning. Reception said no-one available. 4* is laughable

Very clean hotel with excellent service! As an Expedia Gold member, I received a free room upgrade, late check-out, and complimentary parking. It's conveniently located and I received good value for my money. The only issue is reaching anyone by phone. The front desk did not answer the phone on 3 separate occasions. I tired calling to say I had a delay and could not reach anyone.

Very quiet property The check in wasn’t very welcoming after arriving at 2:30 AM Our very first day they didn’t clean my room at all no clean bedding no clean towels garbage still in the room no water refreshed At 8:30 PM we notified front desk agent about and the Indian ethnicity agent told me ….. nothing they can do about it at this time and we need to wait until tomorrow I requested for a late check out and we are able to pay check out fee…… she said I need to come back tomorrow and speak with manager about?????? Do they have proper training or skills to take decisions? I’m travelling with a person with disabilities and on top of that I have to deal with hotel issues I won’t stay here again and won’t recommend this hotel at all

Our arrival flight was very early 7am and I called a few days before asking if we could have an early check in. Reception said they could not guarantee this but if the room was available when we arrived they would give it to us. We arrived at the hotel around 8am and they said the room was not ready. We said ok and left our bags at the hotel and went out to do other things. We came back at 1:40 and asked if the room was ready and they said it was not. The hotel was noticibly not at capacity, although they said it was. We said we would wait in the lobby till it was ready. We waited and the staff knew we were sitting there waiting and they just looked at us blankly for over an hour. As 3pm ( the check in time) started to approach, my husband went to the front desk and they said they had our room ready. We were so angry. I know that our room was ready before this. The check in agents were purposefully trying to show us that they had the authority to give us a room and they were making sure that we didn't get it till 3pm. We spent 5 nights in the hotel and it was not at capacity. The check in experience was BAD! This is not a bad hotel. The price we got for it was very reasonable but the service is poor!

The staff was impeccable. True Pan Pacfic staff. The property was a shock. Curtains falling off the rods. Broken windows. Carpets coming away from the walls. Phones not working. Holes in the walls. Pictures cut to fit around the head boards. Pictures / signs hung crooked. Windows filthy. Heater and air conditioning on at the same time in the lobby (super confusing) The grounds coming into the hotel, very disarray. Elevators not working. Broken office chair in our room which my brother in law fell backwards out of. The list is lengthy. Nothing compared to the Pan Pacfic Vancouver, which is what I was expecting. Especially for the nightly rates. The staff in all departments, especially Ann in the restaurant, above and beyond. I would return because of the staff. Hopefully some major renovations coming up.

The location is park-like which was fantastic for such a big city. It is about 20 minutes or so from downtown with good traffic so a good spot if you are in Toronto for other things besides being downtown all the time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in time is strict and if there is a big event, the line is long right at check in time but you can leave your luggage at the concierge's desk if you arrive early and grab a bite to eat across the street. Elevators are a bit slow because one is under construction currently. The cleaning staff were lovely and friendly. We stayed for over a week. There were lots of different options for eating across the street as well as a couple in the hotel. We enjoyed the choice and variety. We were able to either get a cab or Uber from this location easily.

Friendly and easy check in. The room was a generous size and clean. Comfy bed, and good shower pressure. All elevators were working on this stay making getting from lobby to room and other way around much quicker. The on site restaurant has some good options and good staff, making it an easy choice.

The rooms were updated but the door lock was broken so we got moved to another room. Overall the hotel was nice however the outdoor pooll was outdated. The chairs were worn out and the pavement was not in good condition at all. A lot of broken pavers all around the pool deck. Limited seating available. We had gotten the breakfast included in our stay but the menu was very limited and not very tasty. However we did enjoy the buffet option that’s offered on the weekend. They should offer that every day. The service was very slow. Most mornings it took over 30 minutes before they would come to take our order. They seemed to be short staffed. I will say however that the rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

The elevator under repair certainly made for a lengthy wait to get up to the rooms. Understandable repairs, but still... I had dinner in the restaurant, and found the meal to be ok (so-so), but it was pretty pricey.

The hotel is fine, but has a number of areas under renovation. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the main restaurant was excellent and giid value. Breakfast in the restaurant was going to involve a very long wait, so we wenr to Tim Hortons next door.

This is a really nice hotel, but the best part was the outstanding service we received in the restaurant from Annie, Lisa, and (I think her name was) Tokoko. They were wonderful—so friendly and attentive! :)
