Prima hotel. Beetje krap in badkamer en onhandig kraantje/wasbakje. Onze kamer rook beetje muf, alsof er was gerookt. Veilig gratis parkeren achter hek is wel fijn.

Een wat verouderd hotel. Maar wel hele goede bedden!! Fijne lichtwerende gordijnen. Klein badkamertje, maar dan wel weer een enorme fijne douche! Gratis parkeren en bus 77 en de tram P+R voor de deur. Binnen 15 minuten ben je in het centrum. Ik geef het geheel een 7.

The hotel rooms are totally quiet although the hotel is situated close to A12 and Europalaan. Parking was cost-free in a closed parking lot! We used our bikes to reach Utrecht downtown via a convenient 15min drive but there is also a bus connection. Price-performance ratio was good. Hotel furnishing & style are very similar to other Bastion hotels. Personnel very friendly.

Bathroom sink very small and difficult to use due to shelf above the sink. Room not serviced / ie cups not washed, we’re dirty on arrival . Coffee/ hot water machine not clean and when used had bits in from previous use. Staff friendly at reception. No bath mat / towel had to use a hand towel when in shower as floor for wet and slippery. Bed very soft and pillows way too big and fat, unable to sleep on this . Did ask if could find a flatter/ thinner pillow but didn’t materialise. Otherwise very convenient for buses into town.

Het sanitair was schoon. De bedden doorgezakt, er stond een gebruikt plastic bekertje van de vorige gasten naast het bed. De hoeken waren niet schoon, alsof alleen de looppaden gestofzuigd waren. De doucheslang lekte. Elke zoveel minuten ging de minikoelkast koelen en dat maakte echt mega veel lawaai. Beide daardoor niet door kunnen slapen, meermaals wakker. Het interieur is echt vreselijk gedateerd. Kan eigenlijk echt niet meer. Personeel bij de receptie ook niet erg professioneel. Met z’n drieën op een kluitje praten over privé zaken, de dames heel veel make-up op en mega lange gekleurde nepnagels. Bij uitchecken niet gevraagd naar hoe onze ervaring was. Wij hebben 135€ betaald, zonder ontbijt. Echt spijt van.

The rooms are in a pathetic condition, not cleant properly with dust and cobwebs in the room. The housekeeping staff are also very casual and do not do the cleaning of the rooms well . For the chareges , it is not value for money.

The service I received was terrible the staff kept getting food and drink orders wrong, the room I stayed in I was expecting a lot better for what i paid! All the walls were covered in scratches and marks the cleaners did a rubbish job of cleaning the room everyday, they was not cleaned properly leaving rubbish etc in the rooms, the rooms need painting and refreshing I will not be staying here again

Toen we de sleutel kregen van onze kamer en binnen traden, bleek de kamer helemaal niet schoongemaakt. Het bed was helemaal vies, onopgemaakt en je kon zien dat er iemand opgelegen had. Er lag nog vieze handdoek op de grond in de douche. Tot slot was de prullenbak helemaal niet geleegd. Toen we dit melde bij de receptie, was er weinig tot geen empathie voor. Een excuses kon er nog net vanaf op het einde, echter klonk deze niet gemeend. Voor ons niet meer dit hotel.

Twee nachten geboekt, geen 1 keer schoonmaak geen handoekwissel. Kier onder de deur was zo groot dat het snachts gewoon licht op de kamer was dus ook heel gehoorig Afzuiging in de badkamer werkte niet waardoor de spiegel de volgende dag nog beslagen was. Het is dus gewoon eigenlijk een low budged hotel.

Twee nachten geboekt, geen 1 keer schoonmaak geen handoekwissel. Kier onder de deur was zo groot dat het snachts gewoon licht op de kamer was dus ook heel gehoorig Afzuiging in de badkamer werkte niet waardoor de spiegel de volgende dag nog beslagen was. Het is dus gewoon eigenlijk een low budged hotel.

Hartelijke ontvangst - correct en snel. Op kamer aangekomen bleken en tv en wifi niet te werken. Over gereclameerd, zou wat aan gebeuren, maar niets van dat alles. Op dag twee kreeg ik een andere kamer waar tv het wel deed. Nog steeds geen wifi. Gemeld dat gang bij eerste kamer naar sigarettenrook rook. Kleine badkamer waarin je moet manouvreren. Het is geen duur hotel, maar de staat van alles kan echt een slag beter.

Hartelijke ontvangst - correct en snel. Op kamer aangekomen bleken en tv en wifi niet te werken. Over gereclameerd, zou wat aan gebeuren, maar niets van dat alles. Op dag twee kreeg ik een andere kamer waar tv het wel deed. Nog steeds geen wifi. Gemeld dat gang bij eerste kamer naar sigarettenrook rook. Kleine badkamer waarin je moet manouvreren. I booked 10 rooms for my colleagues and I with the option to pay at the hotel premises, However the hotel system did not show this in our reservations. At the end all rooms were prepaid with my credit card. I don't know if this is an error on the hotel side or hotels.com. In any case it is now a mess to settle the payments for so many people. The hotel corridors need some maintenance, the rugs have big spots on them, almost resembling someone bleeding all over and then the area being bleached. The towels had big holes in them. The people at reception were polite and apologized for the towels, however this is not the level you expect for this type of hotel. Utrecht is small and transportation is easy, so only reason to stay at Bastion is if you must for location and logistics reasons, otherwise not recommended.

Het wachten voor ik kon inchecken duurde erg lang. Er waren drie mensen voor mij. Bij gedoe, graag iemand er tijdelijk bij. Ik had al onderweg gedoe gehad, want de sneltram bleek niet te rijden en hoe dan? Ook waren de aanwijzingen van bushalte tot Bastion onduidelijk, zodat ik bij een groot hek uitkwam. Affijn, gebeurt 1 keer. Maar wel voor elke nieuwe gast. Kan beter. Verder een rustig en schoon hotel.

Overall a great hotel to stay a few nights, lady at breakfast really made our day, but the waitress at diner was so distant and didn't bother to ask us anything after getting our plates, we sure would have wanted a dessert with some extra drinks. Something they can certainly improve on, the service at their dinners.

Van te voren was de locatie telefonisch slecht te bereiken. Na 3 pogingen eindelijk Boris aan de lijn, wat wel een prettig en fijn gesprek was. Ook Claire aan de balie was een frisse en vrolijke wind in een verder wat ranzig hotel. Deze 2 lichtpunten in een duister hotel, levert in ieder geval nog wat sterren op. Andere personeel blaft mij : Englisch please! toe, wanneer ik in het Nederlands wat vraag. Betreffende het hotel zelf: Vlekken op het beddengoed en alles nogal goedkoop uitziend. Plastic bloemen, alles spaanplaat en plakkerig. Ook het ontbijt is weinig kwaliteit voor de bijna 20 euro. Droge broodjes en goedkope producten. Veel geld voor een matige kwaliteit. En de sterren zijn voor Boris en Claire.

I wish they have microwave in the room, one of the staff member was a bit rude when I grab a hot chocolate from the lunge I was willing to pay but she made me feel and another guess like we were too cheap to pay.

Diese Unterkunft kann man zwecks 3 bis 4 tägiger Städtetour gut empfehlen. Perfekt ist auf jeden Fall die Bus und Bahnverbindung in sämtliche Richtungen!

We were allowed to check-in prior to 15h00 (much appreciated). Friendly staff. 17 min by bike (1h by foot) from Central Station. A little bit expensive for what it has to offer.

I stayed at Bastion for one night only, and I was happy with my stay - the very friendly receptionist provided me with a room with one double bed instead of the room with two singles that I had booked because it had been cheaper. Initially, the property was confusing to reach because it's right next to a motorway entrance and also surrounded by a large fence, this was a uncomfortable situation to be in after dark. If you come by public transport, make sure to use the P+R Westraven stop, Google will tell you something else! The room was clean, unfortunately it triggered my dust allergies when I turned off the airconditioning, but the bed was comfortable and with a set of earplugs, the car noise from the street was no longer an issue.

Een wat verouderd hotel. Maar wel hele goede bedden!! Fijne lichtwerende gordijnen. Klein badkamertje, maar dan wel weer een enorme fijne douche! Gratis parkeren en bus 77 en de tram P+R voor de deur. Binnen 15 minuten ben je in het centrum. Ik geef het geheel een 7.

The hotel rooms are totally quiet although the hotel is situated close to A12 and Europalaan. Parking was cost-free in a closed parking lot! We used our bikes to reach Utrecht downtown via a convenient 15min drive but there is also a bus connection. Price-performance ratio was good. Hotel furnishing & style are very similar to other Bastion hotels. Personnel very friendly.

Helt ok. Bra frukost och helt ok mat på restaurangen. Fick tyvärr problem då det inte gick att låsa dörren. Man kunde bara trycka på dörren så gick den upp. Det var även nästan stopp i avloppet i duschen. Meddelade detta på morgonen men när vi kom tillbaka på em var detta ej löst och dom kunde inte lösa det då heller och det fanns inga lediga rum att byta till.

Für meine Zwecke und einer benötigen Übernachtung war das Zimmer und Hotel gut, da kann und möchte ich mich nicht beschweren. Wir mussten das Zimmer einmal wechseln, da die Beine von einem Bett doch extrem wackelig gewesen sind. Der Tausch vom Zimmer wurde aber anstandslos entsprochen. Das Frühstück haben wir in der Unterkunft noch separat hinzu gebucht was kein Problem gewesen ist. Das Frühstück selber am kommenden Morgen war reichlich und ausreichend. Die einzige Beschwerde die ich anbringen möchte ist das die Preise für eine 0,5l Flasche Wasser am Automaten doch schon arg teuer gewesen sind.

Overall it was fine. We didn't like the way the bed was made it looked like it was done in a hurry. The mini fridge/cooler was not working properly. A planchet in the shower would be nice we had to put our things on the floor. The bathroom was clean and comfortable though. Extra pillows were nowhere to be found in the (empty) closets. Because it was weekend the dining was limited with only a few options. The taste was ok. The breakfast on sunday was very good.

We stayed twice on our visit to Utrecht. Once w/o breakfast and once with. The breakfast was very good. The eggs were fresh cooked and there was a good variety of food, nice breakfast sandwich selection, too. The room was nice, mostly clean with a few icky spots on the walls. Bathroom doors were heavy and couldn't be left open. Easy walk to get to tram. Nice place to stay!

Not a very good hotel. Room was not clean but dirty and a lot of dust. Bad noise cancellation, you could hear a lot of noises of other guests. But the worst thing, when we checked out at 12pm, we wanted to have lunch. I looked up on google what Bastions lunch menu was. Turned out they dont serve lunch at all. Very disappointing. Wehadto leave starving. Overal not a great hotel, they charge too much in comparison what you get.

Overall a great hotel to stay a few nights, lady at breakfast really made our day, but the waitress at diner was so distant and didn't bother to ask us anything after getting our plates, we sure would have wanted a dessert with some extra drinks. Something they can certainly improve on, the service at their dinners.
