We had a perfect stay! Other than running into the corners of the bed every five min, but that was my fault. Haha! Super nice of you have kids, easy food options within minutes. Restaurants across the street, and you get discounts if you mention you’re staying there. Price was good, staff was super nice and helpful. Loved that they offer breakfast! Only downside was no pool, but we found a ton of other things to keep us busy. Thank you!!!

One of the most important reasons I selected the Atrium Hotel was the free shuttle to the cruise port. I reserved 4 rooms months before we arrived in Vancouver and when we checked in, I was told that the shuttle was completely booked. Four rooms for 1 night over ($1,600) and the hotel would not add another trip that morning. Someone should have told when I called to confirm the reservation to the shuttle time in advance.

This property is in an unsafe area not somewhere you want to walk around. It’s advertised as free shuttle to cruise but there is no shuttle back if you use it for shopping. Also you can not book the shuttle till checked in and first come first serve so not actually a cruise shuttle at all had to uber to get our check in time. Would not stay again.

First this hotel is rated as a 3.5 star hotel, it was probably better to call it a 2 star. The entire right side of the hotel is currently under what seems like flood renovation. Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best as far as quality with an alright selection. Parking was overpriced for the area at $21per day. No soda or vending machine and ice maker out of order. In room safe wasn't bolted down and kept trying to automatically lock and unlock making a horrendous noise until I left the door open. Plenty of options for food nearby.

Price was quite reasonable. Excellent shuttle to the cruise port. Very nice room (two queen beds). Fitness center was underwhelming. Not convenient to get to tourist sites from the hotel. But as a place to sleep and shower…very good.

Check in was fast. Our room large, clean & comfortable. We took this hotel for the cruise port shuttle. We tried to book the shuttle for our 11:00 check in at the port. The one van they have holds 10 passengers. There was one spot for 10:00. We were offered 8 or 9 am. Not convenient. The area around the hotel is a bit rough. But, there are lots of choices for Asian food within walking distance. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff is professional and friendly.

I was so impressed with the renovation and the hotel itself. It was nicely done and the free breakfast was awesome! I would say the room could’ve been vacuumed and cleaned a bit better(dust and hair on the floor and on toilet). The beds were clean and comfortable though and the staff had a crib already in the room as requested. I was very impressed!

This room was filthy, there was hair from past guests all over the floor and bathroom. Food crumbs everywhere, and smelled like stale body odour. The walls and everything were covered with dirt. Very disgusting.

Two things about the room, maybe three. 1. There are no towel bars in the bathroom. It would be good to have a place to hang bath towels. 2. The toilet dispenser is in a very awkward position as it relates to the toilet. Bonus feedback: The room window looked at at a white brick wall. I felt like I was in jail. I laughed about it, but if I ever stay there again, I would ask for a room that doesn't face the brick wall. End

We stayed as a family for 2 nights in a twin toom with two double beds and a balcony. The location was ok, a 30 minute drive or an hour on public transport to stanley park. The bedroom area itself looked like it had been recently refurbished and was clean and comfortable, although the entrance area and bathroom whilst being perfectly adequate looked like they were due the same refurb. The main issues were firstly the balcony. We had specifically booked the room with a balcony so we could use the space whilst our son fell asleep, however it was unusable for this purpose. There was no seating it looked dirty, uncomfortable and unappealing. In addition the traffic noise was very noticeable in the room, with barely any difference with the window closed, some decent double glazing whilat refurbing the rooms would have gone a long way. Breakfast was ok, not loads of choice but enough and not the biggest room for the size of the hotel but adequate. We also noticed the usenof single use plastic cups both in the bathroom and at breakfast rather than reuseable glasses which seemed outdated in this eco concious age. The parking was a welcome addition albeit a little tight but nothing unmanageable

AC decent, liked the balcony access for freh air as the cleaning supplies used were pretty strong in the room. Pillows not great, pretty lumpy but the beds were decent. Low water pressure in the shower, loud toilet flush. Breakfast was instant eggs, hash browns, sausages, plain yogurt, whole fruit and toaster stuff. Some cerals.

I've stayed here before and it's always been a good experience. This time, my friends and I got back from a concert around 12 am to find the front part of our room flooded (like the immediate walk in area). We called the front desk and they came up to help clean the mess but they only brought a few towels. He let us know that the unit next to ours (and I think possibly above as well?) had flooded so the water in our unit was leaking through the pipes and into in our room. We were up until 2 am cleaning up. They never offered to switch us to another room and instead we had to worry about water leaking all night. we didn't get any sort of compensation or deal or even an apology from the front desk staff.

Last stayed 14 mths ago. Major changes since then. Excellent service. Room was spotless. Complementary breakfast a major upgrade as to facilities, food quality and choices. Loved the living wall. The lady at the front desk was cold and unfriendly. I booked the stay for the relatively low cost and great location, but the low cost went out the window at check in when we found out that parking would cost us $42 and the dog would cost us $70+ (there’s almost nowhere grassy that doesn’t require you and your dog to cross a very busy street, so the dog is as likely to go in your room as out somewhere on the sidewalk). At one point I requested two extra towels and the lady at the front desk seemed put out. She gave them to me and asked for my room number. Why is my room number important when asking for a spare towel? Was I charged?! What else… Amenities are scant. The renovations are annoying. Ice machine was tucked away down a maze of hallways way up on the 4th floor. Breakfast was inedible. Location was great. Yay!

Room was OK. There's something off about this place, though. Staff is surly and reception never answers the phone. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was a "mark" as con artists say. I think it's a management problem -- their attitude seems to be to protect the hotel from the guests rather than serve them. I know that's vague, but it's the feeling I had the whole time. If you're there for the downtown Vancouver experience, spend the extra money and stay downtown. There's a large unsavory neighborhood between this hotel and downtown Vancouver. All in all, not worth the money I saved.

My parents stayed at this hotel because it is close to my home. It is a simple older hotel. Clean and with nice staff. The neighbourhood is great to live in but the hotel is on a very loud and busy street corner with lots of traffic. Good location for PNE. Easy transit to downtown but you will pass through the poorest neighborhood in Canada - which is not particularly safe or pleasant. Breakfast was included and my parents enjoyed it. Simple and fine hotel.

The Atrium was in a convenient location on the outskirts of downtown Vancouver. The property was great overall and the staff were helpful and friendly. Beds were also comfortable. My only issue with the location was the traffic on East Hastings. Bring some earplugs and you’ll be fine.

The staff were great. Place is dated and needs new paint, fix holes etc. Just an older place. Was clean enough and safe. The DTES is like 20 blocks from here. I didn’t feel unsafe at any point.

Everything was good. Only complaint is the breakfast. They didn’t have syrup for over 3 days, no sugar for coffee the same over 3 days, they have only 1 very old oven to toast everything and it’s horrible you must have your bread, bagels or waffles pass 3 times to get the cold off and than you have over 30+ people waiting to use it. The location is good. Was able to do lots of hikes. Even the ones I had to drive 2-3hrs away. But like i said the breakfast needs lots of improvement and better inventory.

The neighborhood is super seedy. Definitely not safe to walk around at night. You must use the parking lot (which is paid.) otherwise your car would likely be broken into. AC was busted. Wouldn’t go cooler than 72’ which is hot while the air outside is 90’. The room fridge was broken . The door numbers were written on a piece of paper taped to the door. Will never stay here again and DO NOT RECOMMEND!

There was no window in the room apart from one leading out to s ball room, meaning there was no way to get any fresh air inside and I was not made aware of this upon arrival. Asking to change the room, I was told that wasn’t possible since the hotel was fully booked. Staff was generally friendly though. The breakfast was also made with North Americans in mind I presume, there was practically no fruit apart from some really waxed apples, no vegetables, no cheese apart from cream cheese, and only sugary yoghurt and practically no toppings (the few that were there contained no spoon and I saw no one taking any of it because it was placed next to the cereal and not next to the yoghurt). But it would have been nice with a selection of toppings. At the same time the pictures for the breakfast buffet was misleading, there was practically no cakes like shown in the pictures and the breakfast buffet was placed in a bar room with mostly barstools in a rather dark room and not the light room from the pictures.
