We were a bit worried about this hotel with no restaurant or pool. But we found the room had a great view of the harbor, walking distance to so meaning great restaurants and pubs. Thanks for the memory.

View from the suite was great of the marina. Found the location quiet, but easy to access a lot of things. Hotel is lacking in the sense of a restaurant, gym, etc. but if you’re looking for basics in a great location, it’s awesome!

Huge 2 bedroom suite with amazing views. Nice and clean also. Perfect inner harbour location. This place does need a fitness facility though. Otherwise - it was great!!

Nice to walk Wharf street. Rooms were very nice. My wife is short and couldn't get in the bed. The couch was good for her and having an extra blanket was great. No restaurant in hotel.

Great location, free parking, very clean. Noisy location at times - we had quite a lot of street noise. AC not built in - unit inside the room - very noisy. We arrived early, were told we would get a call when room ready. - didn’t get a call. Price point is better than most hotels on the inner harbour.

Perfect location on the Inner Harbor, scenic water views, large, comfortable suite, large balcony, floor to ceiling windows offer 360 degree views! Friendly, helpful staff, excellent parking, very clean, very quiet, private. Excellent daily room service too!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. It’s an excellent location for restaurants and the harbour and shopping. We particularly liked that there were real glasses and China cups along with napkins and cutlery rather than the paper and plastic that so many other hotels use.

Be careful of booking the ‘City View’ rooms. There is a late-night pizza joint directly across the street from the hotel that attracts noise after the clubs get out. Staff were very friendly.

What makes this hotel so special is the view from the balcony! Finding the parking arcade was a problem and we ended up having to phone the reception for step by step instructions! How easy would it be to send the guests a little map, because their instructions were not clear at all. Apartment itself is a bit tired looking, especially the kitchen (didn’t use) but the balcony makes up for it. Comfortable beds and furniture! Located in a great neighborhood, all very walkable!

The room was HUGE! We had a full size kitchen, including stove and fridge. Location was perfect! So close to everything we wanted to see. The bed was super comfy. There are even extra bedding blankets if you need them. The staff were very helpful anytime we had a question or needed something. I would highly recommend this place!

Located on the waterfront. Very good location. Tons of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Very expensive for the tiny King room we got. But location explained the cost. And cheap compared to other rooms there

Fantastic location very close to the seaplane base and Harbour area. The property has obviously been remodeled and apparently some rooms have air conditioning and some do not. We booked a standard room with air but got a suite without air. It was warm until the sun went down and then it was ok. The suite was huge and had great views

The suite was spacious and very comfortable. View of the inner harbour was spectacular. Unfortunately there was no electrical outlet accessible. We had to get the bed pulled out and an extension cord provided.

Loved the location - close to harbour, tours, shopping, dining and bike paths. Park your car in the underground parking and you can walk everywhere. So convenient! Room has air conditioning and there was coin operated laundry on our floor. We had a room facing the street so it was noisy at night with traffic and people but that’s expected as it’s on the street heading to the harbour. Definitely stay again but would splurge for the backside which has the view of the ocean.

This was my fourth stay, and I shall return again. The staff and management are amazing. Thank you to desk manager David who has always made each of my stays more enjoyable. The hotel is attractive, immaculate, comfortable, with great views, and centrally located with great restaurants a short walk in any direction, including Chinatown three blocks away. I highly recommend booking here.

The front desk gentlemen, David, was very very helpful and accommodating. My son and I got in late from the ferries on motorbikes and he kindly processed us through, provided all the necessary info and went above and beyond to provide a complimentary room step up. A beautiful view of the harbour. The hotel is clean, comfortable and very spacious. I’ll be staying here again. Thank you very much David!!!

Hotel was a great location. Suite was huge. No ironing hoard or iron which seemed very stranger for a large hotel. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable too big. Tea kettle this am inside filter disintegrated. No bottles of water in room or given at desk upon check in. Guy who was on from 4:00 on was extremely rude. Upon check in he made us feel guilty for not checking in at 4pm but rather later because we were enjoying the island. I later went back down to ask for tea bags and he said “you have a suite you have some in there” I said well sorry didn’t open every cupboard. He got up annoyed and came back with one tea bag and coffee packet. Didn’t dare ask for water. No breakfast served there, No coffee or tea service in lobby like most places after hours. I mentioned something about the incident last night to the the lady on duty this am and she didn’t even flinch or say I’m sorry on behalf of the hotel. For over 500/night you would expect a lot more from the hotel. No pool, no air Conditioning!

While the view was great and the property conveniently located, parking is a problem for anyone driving a larger vehicle. The hotel policy does not cover street parking reimbursement even though they are charging $700- $1000/day !! Cheapskates ! This property is also a combined residential hotel. So be prepared for some uppityness. The front desk staff are not as professional or welcoming as in a higher grade franchise hotel. So just be patient with them. There are many hotels along the same boardwalk and closer to Fisherman’s Wharf. We would try them next time. This one was too overpriced for its condition and amenities and is next to a crack park.

The Regent was a great stay for us and was convenient to dining, bars and shops. Avoid Pandora St as there are many homeless people around that street. Otherwise the hotel was perfect to view the harbor traffic Harbour Air was just a block away as well whale watching and city tours by boat.

This was our 1st trip to Victoria and the Regent was a perfect location and setting to stay. We had 24 hours and decided not bring our car with us on the ferry and so glad because we didn’t need it. We walked everywhere and walking provided great sight-seeing. We had a perfect view of the harbor from our suite, which was huge and clean. I don’t remember any amenities like bar, restaurant or exercise room, but we didn’t need them because you’re at the doorstep to the vibrant downtown

The hotel is ideally located,being just a short walk into downtown Victoria. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The only downside is theres no restaurant or breakfast room but we did find a great diner on Pandora St - Johns Place
