The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. I don’t think it could be improved in any way. Excellent in every way. Went to the attached “Loft” for live music. Was a great time.

Courteous staff. Clean room, though the last renovation was poor workmanship. Actual (old?) spring box springs in our room, noisy. Top mattress was comfy. Not accessibility friendly, three/four stories, no elevators. Located in a very quiet, seemingly nice and safe area.

Rooms are very big and clean. The beds sit on these annoying metal boxes and whenever you get off and on the bed, the metal box makes so much noise. These need to be abolished. Coffee in the lobby is sooo good! The sauna is awesome, just wish it was hotter and the inside door needs a handle to be able to close the door fully. Did not use the pool but looked big. Microwave in the room was a nice touch. Mini fridge is great but the freezer part is the fridge does not keep frozen dinners frozen. There is a homeless shelter up the road so there was different characters around the area in the night but I never felt unsafe.

The AC was amazingly cold, but the shower alternated between burning and freezing me every time I used it. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It was noisy at night with the pub as we stayed on a weekend. The room was clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. Parking was terrible with an event happening at the pub. Drove around forever trying to find a spot and had to wait for pub patrons to leave. Should consider having parking reserved for the paying motel guests, in my opinion.

Our sheets were dirty so we brought it to the attention of the staff. They gave us a new room and the sheets were even worse in that room with the addition of food left under the matress. The lady from the front desk came up and took pictures to document the condition of both rooms and offered to find us a third room. We declined and checked out instead. We will not be back

it appeared to be in an unsafe area. Looked run down from the outside and made us nervous, but we were safe, no issues. . The location was close to downtown, the rooms were surprisingly updated and very clean. The laundry and pool area very clean. We were very pleasantly surprised

The sauna was popular. Cleanliness was not great at all. My son and i are both allergic to dust and we struggled so badly with our allergies despite antihistamines. We asked the room to be cleaned again on day two and still black hair found on the toilet on day two and throughout the tub on day 1. The front desk almost wouldn't re clean the room on day two despite me finding black hair in the tub. The room had been smoked in prior to an attempt at renovations which was smelled faintly, especially in the bathroom. The area around the hotel is great. Be aware there is a pub attached to the hotel which was smoked in and you can smell it really bad when you go in the hotel. Not great for anyone with asthma or allergies. The parking on the first night was non existent so be aware that you may need to drive around to find parking anywhere near the stairs to your room.

They have moved to zero housekeeping during your stay. I was just there for 6 nights and had to argue with front desk staff to have a bath towel delivered to my room. I was informed I could come to the front desk to pick up anything I needed.

The area was quiet and the view was nice. Things to know for next time… ground level is not easily accessible for persons with mobility aids, 2nd floor would have been better. Rooms are not cleaned, towels changed or garbage removed unless you request it, the current policy is to clean your room on the 4th day. Our floor was very sticky and dirty and I felt like I was asking a lot for the housekeeper to wash it. It was not scheduled, thankfully she obliged to our request.

Fine place to stay. Great friendly staff. The only issue I found was that the water would go cold and hot depending on whether someone else was using the water. And not only in our unit. Also shower head is low. So if you’re tall it is a bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise. Good.

The room with 2 queen beds and full kitchen (stove with oven) was very convenient to cook food during our 5 day stay. Room is clean and spacious. Stayed on the 3rd floor so had to walk up the stairs as there is no elevator. Knew that when I booked so was expecting it and not a big issue . The loud music from the pub on the 2nd floor by the front of hotel was fine as we could not hear the loud music at the furthest rooms on the 3rd floor.

There is three stories of stairs to get your bags from assigned street parking to the room. The stairs are steep and narrow, typical of old buildings. I dont believe there was any elevators at all. Although accomoration was by no means fully occupied we were given the room on level 3 immediately behind the bar/restaurant. The band playing might as well been in our bedroom! Poor planning on managements part.

The hotel was convenient and walkable to cafes and restaurants. Free parking was great. The room was spacious, clean and bed was comfy. Our room had a kitchenette, table and pull out sofa with seperate bedroom. The AC was cold perfect for the warm weather. Front desk people were nice and friendly.

Simply …It was a nightmare . It was my first time at a DaysInn. It was a last minute decision and there were no other hotels available so we had no choice but to book a 2 night stay at this location. We check in and left the room in the morning to go do some site seeing. I received a txt from an employee of the hotel “ordering” me to come and remove my “belongings “ since I have checked out !!! I txted back with my paid confirmation of two night booking and asked for an explanation and a call back… no response !! Confused and frustrated we had to leave our site seeing tour and rush back to the hotel to find out what was going on. When I got to the lobby I asked the receptionist and was told that I have checked out at 6 in the morning and they had removed our belongings and have opened up the safe and removed our passport !!! I was furious and asked to see the manager . The manager with raised voice answered “ I don’t care what you have as your proof of booking our system tells me you have checked out so you are out…. I could not believe it….I “have not” checked out I have booked for two night and showed them my booking which was through Hotels.com …. Who will check out and leave the passports behind …. At this point the manager who figured they have made a “big mistake “ just leaves and goes back to his office making us wait for another 20 minutes …. Then comes back and with no apologies tells me I have your belongings back to the room . We just left!!

Room was clean and updated. Checked in late asked if it was possible for a for a late check out the next day when checking in. Was told it was ok till 12 noon that they could accommodate. At 11am had banging on the door I didn’t answer as it was kinda a shady area and any one could be outside. The phone ringed constantly till I was able to answer it and had a very rude lady telling me we need to check out and it’s 11am. I told her we requested a late check out and before I could say that we confirmed a late check out at the front desk when checking in at the front desk. She cut me off and said we can only do late check out from the front desk. I had to cut her off and tell her we did confirm late check out at the front desk when checking in. Ended up hanging up on her as she wasn’t listing and so rude. I Have stayed in many Hotels/ Motels both expensive and cheap and never had this experience if we were late checking out. Rest of staff seems great.

One of the worst experience i have in staying at hotel... Being hotelier myself never expected this kind of service from a property like Wyndham. Check-in because of the ferry schedule i reach early ay the hotel before check in time i checked at the reception the girl said as sonn as the room is ready we can accommodate.....but in vain she said 1.30 first than 3. I reached back at yhe the hotel 2.55 pm she literally said room is still not ready as check in time still have 5 min left i mean seriously 5 min.... Secondly the weird noise for cleaning literally for the whole 2 days of my stay at days inn... Still i didn't complain about anything just because i am hotelier too i really understand the things.. Lastly the super bad service by housekeeping staff lady just opened the door i was in my room with my wife.. she just onocked once and opened the door. Breaching my privacy....... Super unsafe at the property... I felt like i should call the cops at that time. I don't wanna use the word but still i will say it pathetic service at days inn...my recommendation don't even try

The room was pretty lackluster, old mattresses, very loud, and service was poor after hours when we had a noise complaint. They didn't answer the phone after the initial call so we had to get up and go to the front desk at 1:30.AM for them to do something about it. Wouldn't stay here again.

Check in staff should provide accurate information. I was told checking in 1 hour early would not be an issue. Upon arrival, I was told it was not possible and would have to wait, until 3pm or possibly later. Very inconvenient.

Located in an area with a lot of drug use. Second night we had to go out and tell a pot smoker not to blow his smoke into our air conditioner inlet, on the third floor. The room we were in was in very good condition though.

I was really surprised by the look and feel of the room when i walked in. Having your own door access was a plus for in and out. Only part where I rated low was we felt unsafe by the number of homeless under the influence around the area made us uneasy to walk around even to our car at night. Location also is out of the city but 10 min drive and you are downtown so it is convenient if you drive.

We stayed here during our time in Victoria. It was a little far from the city center; however, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and that bus took us directly into the city. The hotel itself is a little old and not updated but It was nice for the price. The office staff were extremely helpful.

Didn't eat at the hotel or attached restaurant, but the hotel was clean, the staff was welcoming and quick to help & the location was only about a 20-30 minute walk from downtown. Would definitely stay again when im visiting Victoria!

This property is conveniently located to visit family. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette. We had a view of the Gorge and lights of inner harbor at night. Walking trails nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. Did not give 5 stars because it is older with no elevator. We will stay again.

This hotel is older and has been partially renovated. The rooms are clean and in good condition, but are of an older style and could use additional updating. The hotel itself has more amenities than you would expect in newer hotels of the same price point: a pool, sauna, exercise room, a bar/restaurant, and a separate breakfast restaurant. The menu at the breakfast restaurant was small, but the food was good. The hotel was also pet friendly and there was an off leash dog park across the road. The neighborhood is mixed with a lot of old hotels, and new construction overall it is gentrifying, but still a little rough.

Very pleasantly surprised, the bed was so comfortable - so many pillows. The blanket was super thin but I like to feel crushed when I sleep. The room was spotless and had all the basics. Only down side was the connector door and the other guest listening to the Jesus channel until like 1am. The little pub in the hotel has music 7 nights a week and it's such a vibe. Otherwise would stay again.

While the Inn is OK, there is no eating facilities other than a pub that does not deliver, plus you have to climb stairs to get there. The vending machines are not working and no pop available at the pub for take out.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel you can tell is older but the management team does a great job of keeping it clean and in good shape. Only downfall is it would be nice to offer a free Continental breakfast. The restaurant is over priced. We paid $62 for 3 breakfast meals along with a couple extra juice.

This hotel has a pub called the loft. Its authentic not a chain. Food waa excellent. Sarah the bartender was amazing. The beds we really comfortable. There is a room for ice, vending machines, microwave and laundry! Staff was really friendly and accomodating! Would stay there again!
