Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort

Har brukt hotellet jevnt siden 2010. Veldig bra hotel, og lett tilgjengelig hvis en driver scubadiving. Men det er blitt veldig dyrt å spise/drikke på hotellet, særlig alkohol holdig drikke er veldig dyrt! Ellers er hotellet akkurat som det var i 2010, ingen forandring.

High quality resort. Good services, good location, good beach/pool. As others have mentioned, the resort is a bit «dated», but its fun to go back in time sometimes.

Very nice hotel. 5 stars. I love the amenities. We booked a dive and snorkeling excursion with their diving team. It was awesome. I love the pool area. Lots of seating around the pool. The entertainment at night was pretty good. There is belly dancing, karaoke nights. It was pretty good. Breakfast was also impressive. Lots of Egyptian food to eat. We had a comp dinner and it was impressive. They also gave us Pepsi to drink as complimentary. Very good food. Our hotel housekeeping was nice. He cleaned our room everyday and left nice cute towel decoration on our bed or hanging from the ceiling. He was very creative.

Good hotel, good rooms with a private beach. Be wary of sellers and shops inside the hotel, but i would recommend booking activities from the dive shop on the hotel grounds.

Facility was nice, comfortable and quiet. Pool area was wonderful.

I like this hotel alot. Its clean and they have their own private beach and diving club. I stayed here with a friend who loved to dive. We used their diving club to go diving and snorkeling. The rooms was absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast buffet was amazing. If I come back to Hurghada, I will definitely stay here again.

Gute Lage, gutes Früstück. Nur der "Strand" ist ziemlich klein und es gibt nicht viel Platz zum schwimmen.

Beautiful apartment but sitting by the pool there so many flies (covered in bits)the shops in the hotel are very expensive.there is no shuttle to the airport and no regular buses to take visitors into the town (its all taxis )which charges what they like.its all different price's.

Lovely hotel with great staff service. Lovely food for breakfast and in the Italian restaurant. Staff were exceptionally helpful Only downside was pool undergoing renovations so closed but I suppose this is a big positive for the future

Fitness club is nice and big, and 24 hours accessible (subject to informing reception before 7; and no AC until 7) I was able to shower after my beach day and post check-out. Loud music is blasted in the afternoon at the beach which was unfortunate.

Außerordentlich freundliche Mitarbeiter:innen. Gepflegtes Haus und Anlage, vielleicht etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber dennoch gut gehalten. Schöner Strand, schöne Lobby, gutes Frühstück. Wir würden wieder kommen. Wir waren 6 Personen zwischen 16 und 65. Alle waren sehr zufrieden.

Nice views needs maintenance

The sofa in my suite was covered in visible evidence of sexual encounters. There was a decent buffet available for dinner, but nothing other than buffet (was offered/emphasized). The dinner buffet was good, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The bar selections were limited (but not the worst). The reception staff were exemplary. It felt very safe and "Western friendly" inside the resort. It felt very "Russian roulette" to leave the property to venture out for dinner elsewhere via Uber and online recommendation (which turned out fine). If you plan to use resort as homebase, I recommend you visit a different country

La habitación descuidada, me comentaron que me darían upgrade y me dieron la habitación que había pagado. No tenían registrado que había pagado con desayuno incluido. Para que nos dieran una hamburguesa casi tardaron una hora.

The room was clean and we had a really nice view of the red sea. It was really nice to be able to relax at the private beach and/or the pool after a long day of being out. The breakfast and dinning experience is a 10/10 there are so many options at the breakfast buffet and if your not feeling like going out to eat dinner they have many different dinning options that are very good.

De er et meget flot sted meget smukt, men mad smager ikke så godt. Ved soveværelser banker dørene ved lukningen. Så man bliver forstyrt. Personale er meget sød men de har meget travlt. Aktiviteterne ef dyrt derfor har vi bestilt udefra

Vi kunne lide alt ved overnatningsstedet, hvis man ellers bare forventer det man kan forvente i et arabisk land. Hotellet er pænt og rent, værelserne en anelse af ældre dato. Der flyder naturligvis med affald i gaderne og alt skal forhandles, også efter man har aftalt en pris. Sådan er det, det hører med og har også en charme. Der er mange muligheder for udflugter som vi har benyttet os af, inkl endagsflyvetur til Cairo. Egypterne og personale er meget venlige og alt i alt har vi en meget positiv oplevelse af Hurghada, hotellet og Egypten som helhed.

Personnel souriant et agréable, buffet du petit déjeuner varié avec du choix, restaurant italien très bon. Nous avions une belle chambre avec vue sur la mer. C'était un bel hôtel dans lequel passer une semaine de vacances fût agréable.

Hotel needs to be refurbished condition of rooms is old - just not great.

The rooms are noisy. If someone moves in here around you, it’s waking you up.

Such a lovely quiet hotel with great facilities. We were surprised to receive a super room upgrade to the Presidential Suite for our short one night stay! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommended

Restaurant staff needs better attitude

Front desk staff were very nice. Homman and Maged , Mawar and Hajar always had a great smile and checked on us everything they see us in the lobby. They all had great recommendations for Egyptian food. Our room was cleaned daily, housekeeping was very nice in replenishing our water. Will definitely come back again.

I have stayed at 5 star resorts and this hotel did not meet the quality and luxury of others where I have stayed. Our check in was fine and the lovely front desk agent sent me some soup to my room, as I had an upset stomach. She did check in on us afterward. Other than her exceptional customer experience, we mostly had to ask for help and service anywhere we went on the property. In some places, we had to ask for it multiple times, but did not receive it.

Great hotel and staff is very friendly.

We stayed at this hotel before and after a dive trip last year. Came again this year and it did not disappoint. Some of the staff remembered us. The accommodation is superb, the breakfast delicious and the staff efficient and courteous. Hajar was a standout at reception. Thank you we will be back.

Hossam always have great smile, and recommended great places to eat. Maged , Marwa, Abd Elrahim , Hajar , they all went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.

Das Marriott Beach Resort ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber dennoch schön. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Umgebung vor dem Hotel ist nicht besonders schön überall liegt Müll und jedes zweite Gebäude ist eine Bauruine. Hurghada ist wirklich sehr Chaotisch und dreckig.

Schönes und elegantes Hotel, tolles Frühstücksbuffet und das freundlichste und serviceorientierteste Personal, dass man sich vorstellen kann - perfekt! Mit Uber in 5 Minuten (und rund 50 Cent) in der Innenstadt.

The hotel is beautiful and in the water. Not by the area that’s walkable and most definitely more touristy. The bees were not the most comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not a negative thing to say about the hotel itself. The area around the hotel is ok nothing special. The property is on the water so you can do the beach or pool, if you can take the heat.

The property is nice. It’s a nice 3.5-4 star resort. Staff here is excellent and incredibly friendly. Beach is a lagoon to ocean. Dinning was good. Area around hotel is ok. It’s about 5 mins to Hurghada main city.

Very nice hotel at the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice buffet both for breakfast and lunch/dinner. I just wish the drinks were delivered faster to the table. Sometimes we had already finished eating before we got our tea/coffe for breakfast or the wine for dinner. Why not have a coffe/tea station where the guests can get there own since it’s included in the price, at least for breakfast?

This is a very average hotel. Not sure Marriott should put their brand name to it. There is really no good reason to stay here unless you're scuba diving with Aquarius Diving, which is on site, as we were. The good stuff: The staff are VERY friendly and welcoming. When we asked for extra pillows, they arrived within 5 minutes. The bad stuff: The beach is clean but very small. The pool area is soulless and bare. Every communal area of the hotel was FREEZING from air con set far too low - when it was windy and chilly outside, indoors was even colder! The choice of food is very poor in the evenings. There is the buffet, mostly Middle Eastern food and has limited choices, and the Italian restaurant, which is good but plays terrible loud music that they seem to think is Italian but definitely isn't! The Surf and Turf restaurant by the pool has a good selection of food but is not open after 5pm. Bizarrely, the room service menu offers MUCH wider choice of food than any of the restaurants. Breakfast is VERY average. The pastries are all tasteless and there is always a queue for any kind of egg dish. The egg chef burnt my fried eggs every morning. Maybe if they cleaned their pans occasionally, that would help. Bars - hopeless service at the island bar but great at the other bars. But the cocktails are poor and so weak I doubt some even contain alcohol, and they offer daiquiris yet have no crushed ice. Honesyly, I'd book somewhere else if I were you.

Outdated and overpriced. Laundry services damaged my clothing as well. Buffet was not good, the meat was super dry.

Great stay at this hotel. Could use some upgrading on the inside, but outdoor area is absolutely amazing. Really nice beach! Restaurants overall was good, but the beach bar (surf&turf) had less good food; it is nice for drinks at the beach though. Go buffet or italian for meals.

The good: the common parts and rooms are clean, staff is welcoming and helpful, the beach is really nice. The bad: restaurant is really average, I expected better from a 4-star hotel. Bars are too expensive for the service level they provide. For instance, they have a 2-for-1 promotion: while the first drink (cocktail) was barely ok, the second (free one) almost had no alcohol and was mixed with different proportions (not even the same colour).
