Very nice stay at Hotel Jen: big and well equipped rooms with nice design. Rooms are quiet and bed is very comfortable. In room dining is if high quality and quickly delivered. House keeping does an excellent job, and the rooms are really quiet. Hotel Jen had easy access to a large and high quality shopping mall - with lots of dining options. The only "not so excellent" part is the breakfast: while ambience and staff service are very good, the food quality is unfortunately only mediocre at best. This is the case for Chinese as well as Western buffet items. In order to be truly on a five star level the food & ingredients quality needs to be increased significantly - with the exceptions of beverages, pastries, joghurts and the very yummy ice cream served. Those F&B items are tip notch, but the overall breakfast quality does not live up to the Shangri La brand standards. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel since it is conveniently located and fairly priced - and the rooms & staff are fantastic.
