My “go-to” spot when staying in Rome. It’s literally one block from the main train station in Rome, and the Central Market with tons of food options. Great breakfast buffet, amd in-house bar. They can book private transport from the airport too if needed. Highly recommend!

Room was fine overall, clean enough, amenities provided. Shower was tiny. The gym is misleading. Only open for a few hours in the morning and evening, on the top floor and not air conditioned. We walked in then right back out. It was cooler to run outside than on the one treadmill in the gym. Not quite as advertised.

The Hotel Ariston is just on the edge of the tourist area near the train station where you go from thinking "this is nice" to thinking "hmmm ... I don't know" but once you walk through the doors, any qualms disappear, and from then on, it's a great location from which to explore Rome. We never did have a drink in the cute little bar off the lobby, but the bartender was gracious in grabbing us waters for our room. The room was comfortable, the bed slept well, the bathroom offered just enough privacy for a couple of Americans.

We had stayed here before and liked it. We found this time however we were given an internal courtyard room with no outlook except into what can only be described as a prison block courtyard, dull, dark and full of steel work through steel shuttered windows which were closed and curtains drawn all the time. The room itself was very small with access to only one side of the double bed, no space for any additional seating, indeed we struggled with our cases on the floor for a two night stop. I have a bigger caravan I tow! I have to say though, small as it was, the bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable with clean sheets. The bathroom was tired and a bit more than dated. Although generally clean the shower was in keeping with the bedroom, very very very small. I struggled in it to properly shower. The shower drain hole was filthy and something we had to turn a blind eye to. Again with window and steel shutter that opened onto the internal prison yard. The window itself was no wider that 200mm…! I would however say that the maids did their best with what they had to work with. Breakfast was typical of Rome, but the service and quality just lacked that extra omph it needed. Not everything was available… take what your given and move on! Check in and check out was fine, no more or less complicated than anywhere else. However on exit my wife asked for a simple sticking plaster for a blister on her heel. The hotel didn’t have any…!!! What no first aid box? Oops….

Surrounds heading to the hotel was dirty, rubbish surrounded. My room smelled of sewage, the air on didn’t work properly. The city tax after checking out . Make sure you have cash.

Excellent location. Just a few minutes walk from the Termini Train Station and Bus drop off and pick up. The staff were all friendly & helpful. Nothing too much trouble. I emailed several times to ask questions and I got a swift reply. We booked a basic double room, no frills but was very clean. I was worried when the booking said a large single bed. Was it big enough for 2 adults?. It was a very comfortable King Size bed. Didn't want to pay too much for a hotel, after all it's somewhere to shower and sleep. We left our bags and came back to pick them up. We had dinner one evening a few doors down from the hotel. It was nice. The waiters were very entertaining. I would stay here again if I visit Rome again.

Room was renovated, very clean when we arrrived. Daily clean could be better, but not a problem for us. Shower not very good, but water temperature was perfect. Breakfast was above my expectation. Staff friendly. Easy check-in abd check-out. Location is just perfect!! 3 min walking from Termini station, with mini markets and cafes around the hotel.

The hotel fas fine, not very quiet as we could hear the room nextdoor and outside noise was quite high as the window wasn't very modern. The location was perfect for getting around the city, the entrance was very nice and staff were great. All in all though I wouldn't say it was 4* as advertised.

EXTREMELY SMALL ROOM! Passage around the bed is wide enough for one person. Bathroom has see through doors. Shower had good water pressure, but barely any elbow room. Breakfast is 18 Euro per person. Will try somewhere else next time in Rome. Only plus is proximity to the Termini.

Vi fikk et rom mot en bakgård uten aircondition, så det var veldig varmt. Lukket opp vinduet, men det hjalp ikke fordi der stod de og røykte hasj. Fikk byttet rom etter en natt i det rommet. Det hjalp, da fikk vi et større og bedre rom med bedre luft. Bra service. Utrolig harde senger uten overmadrass. Sentralt rett ved hovedsentral stasjonen, det var bra i forhold til tog og metro. Ikke det beste strøket, mye narkomane. Tror jeg velger et annet hotell neste gang.

My stay at the Hotel Ariston was ok, primarily due to its location just a stone's throw from Roma termini, making it a perfect base for exploring. The hotel has a eco theme. The rooms feel a little dated and while the rooms are compact, they are very clean and functional, you're really paying for the location. Outside at night may feel a little sketchy for some. There are lot of people hanging about at night that may not have other places to go. The staff were average. Not rude but not overly helpful (or didn't give the feeling of helpfulness). I would think about staying here again for a convenient location.

Our family had an outstanding stay at the Ariston Hotel near Termini station. Despite the hotel being a bit old and boutique, it was fully functional, clean, and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff, particularly Francesca and Sabrina at the front desk. Traveling with a child in a wheelchair, we greatly appreciated their kindness, support, and willingness to accommodate our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat after exploring Rome. The genuine warmth and personalized care from Francesca and Sabrina made our stay truly memorable. Una decepcion. Desde la recepcion a las 14 hs , la gerente de recepcion nunca solucionaron el cambio de habiacion.Parecia un hotel alojamiento. Un asco. Zona horrible de noche. Nunca elijan tiempo prolongado. Fui a una habitacion superior y me dieron un UPGRADE que era un asco la habitacion supuestamente Ejecutiva. Como seran las Estandar? ARREPENTIDA.Ni siquieran respetaron que era silver. Nadie soluciono el tema de la habitacion y se echaban la culpa entre ellos. La gerente me ofrecio un servicio de taxi para compensar por supuesto no loacepte. Ni siquiera me ofrecieron la retribucion de la diferencia del valor de la habitacion. Hay hoteles UNA a dos pasos de este hotel con mejor presentacion la verdad no me di cuenta.

Perfect location for a couple of nights before cruising from Civacavechia. Located 2 mins walkfrom terminus station where bus transfers from airports drop off so convenient. 20 mins walk to city centre. Lots if bars and restaurants nearby.
