Hotel Amalfi is a real gem. The rooms were so clean, beds comfortable and nice and quiet given the location. The Aircon in the rooms was heaven after a day exploring in the Italian heat. The rooftop terrace, with the Limoncello Spritz, in the evening was the perfect way to end the day! The staff were so lovely, really friendly and couldn't help enough.

We chose this spot to be close the subway and train station since the big attractions are so spread out in Rome. In the end we preferred taking taxis over the crowded subway. A Taxi stand is close so it worked out fine. This is a lovely hotel with a nice rooftop with cocktail service. We had a triple room with a balcony. The hotel does have a small elevator. Plenty of good food nearby within a short walk. We chose not to take the Hotel breakfast so I can't review that. Right next door is a lovely breakfast place with amazing pastries and they even have coffee to go and fresh squeezed OJ. Don't miss the church in the square which has a Michaelangelo and even claims to have Jesus' baby blanket.

This hotel was in a beautiful location, and was perfect for me as a solo traveller. Easy to navigate around Rome and have as a home base. There is an elevator, and I also got a free glass of Prosecco my first night there. They held my luggage for free after I checked out, too. If I’m ever back in Rome, I will be staying there again!

For a small hotel, they had big hotel service! I’ve never walked into my room and had a personalized welcome message on the TV! And even my small room had a private terrace. I would stay again without hesitation.

Historic older property with unique and quirky atmosphere. Very handy terrace bar on the roof, and walking distance to many tourist sites. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Only a few blocks from Termini Station but felt very safe walking around at night. Comfy beds. Tiny lift available. Good aircon!

Hotel Amalfi was the perfect hotel for my Rome experience. It had a wonderful view of the square, which was breathtaking at night. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any request you have. The breakfast in the morning was always hot and fresh. I fell in love with the roof terrace and the sunset views.

Near Termini and in the historic district. Lovely ceiling and wall paintings. Great staff. Good breakfasts and bar. I had my own outside patio but there was a lovely patio terrace upstairs where you could sit and have drinks. I'd go back.

The hotel was great. One of the biggest conveniences is its location near the train station. We were able to arrive from the airport and then catch a train to another city with ease. The room was clean, and the staff very friendly. The hotel also has its own charm and we felt quite cozy during our stay in January. Some notes for prospective travelers staying during winter months: bear in mind that this hotel is located on one of the busier streets in the area. This means that noise from the street, including sirens, are quite loud if you have an open window facing the street. The windows help shut out the noise very well, but our room got stuffy and we had to open the window occasionally during the night. We tried to turn down the heater, but in the end, opening the window was the only way to cool off the room. Since the outside noise is not the hotel's fault, I'm rating the hotel at 5 stars. I do wish that the heating element would be more responsive to adjustments though. As a whole, I would highly recommend the hotel.

This was a cute little hotel. The room was comfortable with almost everything you might need. The wifi signal was extremely weak, and it cut in and out continuously. It's well situated as it's close enough to Termini station without being right on top of it. Overall a good experience.

I travel a lot and I must say very rarely did I find the hotel staff so friendly, so helpful, so eager to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. This remark is valid for all staff at the Amalfi Hotel, from the gentleman at the front desk to the two persons in the breakfast room, without forgetting the lady who made up the rooms and of course, the Director. I have been to this hotel a few times. It is consistently clean and well managed. The manager introduced himself and made me feel very welcome. The staff tries very hard to make their guests comfortable. I strongly recommend.

Our family of four stayed at Hotel Amalfi in Rome for a few nights and had a great experience. This place was perfect for us. Less than a block away from Santi Mary Maggiore and walkable distance to the Coliseum.and Forum. Then, you can walk everywhere you'd like. The hotel.itself was great. Breakfast had regular american breakfast items plus italian options. Loved our stay there.

Great location right at Santa maria maggiore, lots of restaurants and shopping, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, major sites of interest can be reached walking. Small room as expected in rome city center. Very close to roma termini. Expect noise from traffic, particularly at night. All in all nice hotel. We'll stay here again.
